almost 24 hours and no reply
102  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: Case-fan in front of GPU-fan. Makes sense or senseless? on: February 22, 2014, 04:46:42 PM
Okay, test results! Placing and running those casefans with a, compared to the GPU fans, signifcantly slower RPM in front (as shown in the pic I posted) results in a 4 degrees COOLER gpu. Also it does not affect the RPM of the GPU fan.

So, it's good to have them there. When I removed the casefans, GPU temp was going up 4 degrees.

did you read my above post?

what could have made your test results go wrong?                 Also try to test with the case fan blowing air in other direction if you can

I read your post prior to testing. Nothing was changed besides the casefans, so exact same conditions. Changing the blowing direction seems useless to me, cause airflow would be blocked.

Changing the blowing direction seems useless to me, cause airflow would be blocked. Not really because of the pressure differences and more complicated things the results should be very interesting especially at very specific angles (a bit effort needed to find these angles!) and fan configurations. That is exactly why I wrote about this.

Please consider this in testing while trying to find these very specific angle and fan configurations Huh

How is that guy still alive? I saw no life guards around him, and some bad guy must have had ton of BTC there..
It's already been mentione on this thread that whoever really has much btc on mtgox will want him to finish fixing things ASAP which means safety and lots of comfort pleasure etc
Doesn't they have a 2nd guy who could take over tho? In case of his demise, and as I mentioned bad guys easily could take care of it even if they only had 10 BTC on the site.

obviously more people cooperating is better than one person less. Also I think the efforts might be slowed down by even more stress

Will do Wink

make sure nothing changes when you do test apat from what you are trying to find out.

So for example make sure the fan rpm are the same throughout the testing and other things which might change the test result without you knowing bout it.

there are lots of other things which might change the testing results very much so eliminate them.
106  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: Case-fan in front of GPU-fan. Makes sense or senseless? on: February 21, 2014, 08:45:31 PM
Hey!

I'm thinking about removing a casfan. Due to how my case is built, a fanist placed directly in front of a gpu-fan, both blowing same direction. Since the casefan is actually slower: Does the GPU-fan just speed up the casefan so to say? Does the casefan provide better cooling for the gpu or is cooling even worse this way? Pic attached below.

Im interested in this but my original thought was to not only combine more different types of pc fans but also a normal fan like the one you use in your room or even a leafblower! Cheesy

So please answer my questions and dont be so negative.

People who browse the "Hardware" sub-forum under "Mining" are more likely to have an answer to your question!

ok ill make new thread there.

You can move your own thread instead of making a new one.

made newone already

AMD's APUs are the alternative to cpu gpu asic. They integrate amd cpu with amd gpu.

I also have few Questions about APUs so please bear with Me.

amd.com/us/solutions/desktops/Pages/desktops.aspx shows that A10 series has Radeon 8670D.

Do all of the A10 Apus have this Radeon?

Is Radeon 8xxx same as Rx xxx ?

Did AMD always make CPU only until it acquired ATI which is the original Radeon creator and integrated their gpu with their cpu or what?

Will the Radeon in the APU giva same kh/s as normal?

wrong forum

why did you write wrong forum? Why are you being negative instead of helping Me out?

what forum do you suggest?

Because you make a habit of posting in the wrong forum. I've reported several of your threads.

It's not rocket surgery. Have a look at your question, then have a look at the available sub forums. What fits?

It seems you are always asking about GPUs so most of your threads should be somewhere in the "Mining" subforum, probably "Hardware".

so many of you here are negative. Why dont you just answer my questions insteead of being so negative?

we already have press board

I know but its so confusing , and hard to read evry news. I asked people what think about this. And u can look at poll, most of them want to see this working. I will try and see how its going. If that is not forbidden ?

I like this more because there are more news per page.(Less loading pages clicking waiting etc)
115  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Im using 6 mining comparison charts to find best hashrate submitted. Can I really on: February 21, 2014, 04:43:33 PM
Mining is not a hash-rate dick-swinging contest.

wtf u on about?

hes on about you being worried about having the same hashrates as people on a wiki...

a lot of those scores are NOT stable. and will only run for less than an hour before crashing. so it's kind of pointless.

Ok Im just comparing cards together so Im looking at the cards' max sustainable kh/s

so what can kh/s 270x sustain?
116  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Why mining contracts cost you more than you can earn from them on: February 21, 2014, 04:40:09 PM
examp-le
1.82$ earned by first week.bitcoinfrenzy.com 2GH 99$ 25% reinvestment.Calc shows only 0.002686 btc first month. So 0,0020145 btc to you 0,0006715 btc for reinvestement on first week.

What am  I missing here? Or do they really sell unprofitable contracts?

Also isnt it better to just mine them themselves with all that gh/s combined? 4gh/s is more than twice as good as 2gh/s right?

there are more examples.

If it is more profitable to just mine themselves, they won't sell hash right?

easier examp-le.Company can use their gh/s to make 100BTC profit or it can rent ALL that gh/s.If it sells ALL their contracts (100 BTC worth) for less than 100 BTC altogether it loses money. To profit it has to rent for more than 100BTC from ALL the people buying contracts making ALL these people mine less money (less than 100BTC) than they paid for (fiat).

The only way to profit for these people is to hoard their bitcoins so they will be more valuable.

so now Im comparing 270x to 270.

on all of these sites @1stPostOnThisThread except coinpolice.com/gpu show the highest kh/s for 270x is 476.             There is a score of 750kh/s twice and 476kh/s too.
So can you get 750?

There is a mining hardware forum. Most of your threads are placed in the wrong forum, which doesn't do much to help you get an answer.

I always post in general since most people view this so I'd get less reply there right?

How do I move it anyway?

You edit it and move it that way and don't post off topic threads as they will be quickly moved and you may be warned by mods if you keep doing it.

ok I hope ill get more answers here despite the fact most people view the "Bitcoin Discussion" not   Bitcoin > Mining > Hardware
