I wonder why you think so. Search engine visitors only come to your website because you have a specific link with specific content that is ranged high in search engine results. That's why you get the visitors.

If you change the url's or the content then the search engines don't find the old content and you lose the visitors. Of course the new content can rise again but first you will lose everything and it is not much different from starting with a new domain, once the search engines found there is a new website on it.

Wow... $40 already. Only for a number. Guess people involved in clams are rich and spending much in every direction. Tongue
104  Economy / Auctions / Re: Full member account for sell on: July 02, 2015, 12:07:12 PM
If you do so then i would advise you to make the stats a bit anonymous. Otherwise the account you sell can be found out pretty fast.

Do it like +210, +20 and so on. So that its a bit scrambled.

Hmm do you belive that some one is that much freeto check 100 of account. By the why do he find or check this account? Is he the first one who is selling his account?

I know there are those people. And they don't have to check out 100's of accounts. They only need to use search engines.

I'm not sure why some do this. Maybe they want to know who bought which accounts, which accounts changed owner and so on. I don't know for what reason.
105  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAMMER ALERT] FAKE Bittrex-Richie || 360 CLAMs stolen || Just-Dice.com on: July 02, 2015, 10:47:17 AM
Did you have the same password on irc like on just-dice and this was how he could get into?

Sorry to hear. I hope he couldn't steal even more on your just-dice account.

It's a pity the community is infested with persons of that character. You really need to use an escrow for every $10 transaction. Otherwise you will get scammed. It's laughable but true.

Hi all,

To my friends from Just-Dice who know me as KingDice, and to those on this forum and my followers on Twitter:@cryptotipz, I would like to bring alert to a scammer that has been getting away with scamming dozens of people, of whom I fell victim to a couple weeks ago. He goes under the name "bittrex-richie" on Just-Dice.com time to time, and he's also on IRC on several channels. I even spotted him in the #bittrex channel under the name "bittrex-richle" << notice the "l" instead of "i." Very discrete, very subtle. He is NOT to be confused with the genuine bittrex-richie who works for Bittrex exchange. Having said that, I agreed to trade with this user, 360 CLAMs for 2.14 BTC, and having known the name bittrex-richie, and after he posted screenshots of his BTC balance in BTC-e to withdraw, I foolishly fell into this scam and sent him 360 CLAMs first. Here is a link to the conversation that happened between us on Just-Dice, I was under the account "QueenDice" while he was under the name "bittrex-richie"

Chat exchange: http://pastie.org/10247792

I was able to notify Dooglus and he graciously contacted Bittrex on behalf of me, however Bittrex REFUSED to disclose whether that was or was not an address of theirs, that is the address I had sent the 360 CLAMs to. Later on, interestingly, my account QueenDice on Just-Dice was hacked and the same bittrex-richie tried to exploit some other members of the community with no luck. I'm not sure how or why my account was compromised, but I did not have 2FA on it and a few days prior I had forgot the "/" before verifying my identity on IRC, thus exposing my password. Beaware of Bittrex-Richie in the IRC, in Just-Dice, and other dice sites. His IP shows that he lives in Serbia according to Dooglus and I want to let everyone know to be careful and not fall into the same trap I did, foolishly. It was my mistake and I've paid the consequences and suffered a loss here.

I hope this post is helpful to bring awareness to Bittrex-Richie, other scammers, and why using an escrow is a great option if you don't know whom you are trading with.

If you only sell the domain name why care about visitors and that the site is indexed well?

Because of domain value?

Why don't you simply sell the content and all with it? I don't see the domain having much value without the website.
You don't see as you don't look.
Try search on any search engine by keywords and you'll see.
And you should know how hard is to make a domain to appear in search page one.
I've done good SEO work for it and thats why it is valuated like this.
About rest I don't care.

First you say the domain name is something worth but then you try to back this with seo and backlinks you did. When you really created the website and all then you should know that search engine positions only are worth something as long as the search engine finds the content she indexed. If you take that content away then all your search results will die fast. No more visitors. Some people park such a domain then until it got burned out but as long as you don't try to copy the indexed content you won't get the same visitors constantly.

I'm asking myself if you only don't know this or if there's another reason you argument that way.

Is there a negative profit on that account? I mean to save the 10% fee dooglus is charging until the profit is reestablished.
109  Economy / Auctions / Re: Domain name: DomainHunters.org on auction!! on: July 01, 2015, 07:14:51 PM
If you only sell the domain name why care about visitors and that the site is indexed well? It wouldn't matter to the buyer anymore because the indexed pages would not exist anymore. Visitors will die out fast.

So the only way to keep the traffic a little bit would to try to copy your content. Which is illegal, so you need to create own content, which means google will reindex.

Why don't you simply sell the content and all with it? I don't see the domain having much value without the website.
110  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Reputable/Trustworthy Mixers on: July 01, 2015, 01:15:15 PM
I always was wondering who is using mixers. I mean if you don't do something illegal then exchanges shared wallets should be fine enough. So should i guess that that means mixers are used by scammers and others that need to hide from the law? I mean imagining normal people using it would mean a risk to the. They might get coins from some scam and when at one point tainting will be implemented, which might be possible with bitcoin-xt, then why risking having a connecting to these people and holding coins that "potentially" could get seized when your identity is found out.

Whats the use cases for normal users?

I'm a normal user.  I'm even going to pay taxes on my BTC gains (not worth risking jail time).  I use Shared Coin so that everyone I send BTC to doesn't know my total balance.

That's perfectly fine. In fact i do the same, with an exchange with low confirmations. No one can guess my other addresses that way. So why do you pay these high fees to get back coins coming form scams maybe?
111  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Understanding how bitcoin works is IRRELEVANT on: June 29, 2015, 12:07:01 PM
It's complicated, ok. Though i'm not sure if the solution is to create wallets that do everything for the user. First thing is that an experienced user often don't have any chance anymore to get the more professional features. That's something really annoying. The same way went ubuntu and it's annoying not being able to find the pro settings anymore. At the end you simply change to another linux version.

On top i don't think it's good to not educate people. They need to know the risks, otherwise bitcoin only will get bad press and such.

I think it's not irrelevant if you want to have some sort of privacy.

This! Most noobs think bitcoins are anonymous. In fact its pretty easy to connect the dots when you don't care.

And its way too dangerous to not understand that actually you are your own bank. You will lose all your money if you don't care about your passwords, have backups and protect your wallet. Thats too much for many newbies.

So no, you need to understand the risks at least.
114  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: [ANNOUNCE] Electrum - Lightweight Bitcoin Client on: June 28, 2015, 09:49:07 PM
Electrum OSX 2.3.2 allows you to type the full amount you want to send in the Send tab's BTC Amount box, type 0 in the fee box, and broadcast the TX after the password prompt - if your TX qualifies for zero-fee. I have the "Set transaction fees manually" and "Show transaction before broadcast" settings enabled. The TX I just broadcast was of an almost 2-month old input >0.01 BTC and equal output, and apparently it qualified for zero-fee.

And the TX confirmed 2 blocks later.

Hey, you're right. I always tried to chance the fee before and changed the amount then. Didn't work because the value jumped back to 0.00001BTC then.

So the solution is to enter the full amount, the amount get red, then put the fee value to 0 and you can send without a fee as long as the network will accept it.

Thanks!

116  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are the pro and con's about forking bitcoin? on: June 25, 2015, 10:24:57 AM

The biggest con to Bitcoin XT is the fact that Mike Hearn apparently wants to consolidate power over the blockchain via miners, and get the ability to freeze / blacklist bitcoins, as he mentions here:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5979.0

I've been basically 100% Bitcoin for over 2 years now, but if that little proposal becomes reality, I'll be switching back to fiat immediately.

You obviously didn't understand what Mike Hearn writes there.
Freezing Bitcoin is theoretical possibly in the current system, if you have all miners on board. That is a fact. No fork needed for that.

You are right. Though when bitcoiners really will go ahead and give "their" bitcoin away to a private company, where the development of the blockchain and the wallet is decided to some private persons and that company, then why the heck should miners switch away later? First they take that offer, so i don't see many will switch later.

It's like a vote. If you chose bitcoin xt then you chose a company that will decide what will happen to the bitcoin wallet and the blockchain.

Hearn and co make so much trouble as if the remaining developers doesn't understand the problem. Of course they do. They only don't take part in that fear advertising campaign for a company bitcoin xt. Bitcoin core will be forked for sure. Its simply needed. No real developer will deny that. It only doesn't have to happen now instantly. We have time to find the best solution. But hearn let it sound like tomorrow bitcoin will die. And we all should give his company the power to rule about our coins.

I won't take part in this. But i fear the community is not so united. I fear a damage to the price of bitcoin. Though maybe bitcoin core gets patched fast and bitcoin xt is losing its momentum.
117  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Guide For Seuntjies Dice Bot on: June 25, 2015, 07:36:13 AM
Hey Seuntjie... i wanted to try out your bot with Just-Dice. Though it only asks me for the secret URL. I dont have one though. I created a user pass login and enable 2FA. I guess i need to disable 2FA first. But even then, i dont see where to add user pass.

Do i really have to create a new account to make it work with the bot?

You're using a very old version of the bot. I suggest upgrading the the latest one:
Alpha version (build 13) of Seuntjies Dicebot version 3 is available at http://seuntjie.com/dicebot/dicebot-v3-alpha-b13.zip

But for the version you're using. For the secret url, just use https://just-dice.com, when the site is loaded, go to the account tab and log in there. From then on, the bot will load the login screen like it does in your normal browser.

Thank you! It works now. Only thing is that i tried to use it for just dice milestone. I tested it and it worked. Half a hour later i wanted to start it and... it did not start anymore. Even though it claimed im still logged in. I think the bot should check sometimes if its still logged in or so. Because it showed me that it still was. But obviously wasnt.
118  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: [ANNOUNCE] Electrum - Lightweight Bitcoin Client on: June 25, 2015, 07:34:02 AM
Why is the new electrum enforce a minimum fee of 0.00001BTC?

By "new electrum" do you mean 2.3.2?

I am still on 2.0.4 and not an issue for me  Wink

I believe i switched because the new electrum is WAY faster. When you have a certain numbers of transactions or/and addresses then the older electrum versions tend to block you from working with them alot. It was no fun using them anymore. So im bound to use them. Its not that the fee is so costly that i cant pay it. But still. I prefer to enter my value and not to take care about how many 9 i have to put in order to pay the fee at the end.

I dont know why it was implemented since the server would not accept a transaction with too few fees anyway. So that i could raise it.

So @developer i hope zero fee will come back.
119  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: How secure https://bitmixer.io is? on: June 24, 2015, 11:48:58 AM
I think using a normal exchange with shared wallet is still a better solution since the coins are way better mixed in there. You really cant guess who did was in there anymore. Thats not fully true for these bitcoin mixers. They dont do things perfect enough sind the more perfect the more it will cost.

If you try to hide something illegal then exchanges arent for you of course, though im not so sure if bitcoin mixer will protect you really when an agency goes to them and asks them about their logs. Even if they dont have logs, agencies can go there, forbid to speak about it and then check all future transactions. They could find at least everything happening from then, which might include past users that use it repeatedly.
120  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: ‘Ultimate Bitcoin stress test’ ends up proving larger blocksizes are unnecessary on: June 24, 2015, 11:43:32 AM
Thats great. I awaited to see the results.

Though one has to admit that an average natural amount of transactions exceeding 1MB would be a problem. So something has to be done with Bitcoin Core. I cant understand the way things are extorted into action.
