101  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: LONG TERM BITCOIN BUYERS on: June 10, 2016, 07:54:32 PM
In traditional investments, long term is most often considered to be a minimum of 5 years. But bitcoin seems to live its life in hyper drive, hence the question to the bitcoin world, what is long term to the average bitcoin investor?

To me when I buy for long term I am actually buying for 5+years. I say at least 50% of my bitcoin will not be touched for a decade, (god willing) maybe they will sooner if something happens to me and family cash out. To the average bitcoin investor I would agree with the hyper drive mentality and long term to them would be one year.
102  Other / Off-topic / Re: Which BTC wallet are you using on: June 10, 2016, 07:38:54 PM
For smaller amounts, daily/weekly use I used to use blockchain.info like many of the people here but since the updated wallet I don't like it so I am now only using ledger as that is very easy to use and very safe for your security concerns.
103  Other / Off-topic / Re: [POLL] Paypal sucks on: June 10, 2016, 07:15:00 PM
I vote yes it does suck. That is putting it nicely, the fee's I could put up with even though they are ridiculous and boarder line extortionate but limiting my account when I needed it most was its last straw with me. I wash my hands with it.

Paypal sucks ur money, i only used it once to make a payment. Now monero makes it obselete

Pleaassssssee  Roll Eyes Cheesy
104  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: PayPal Stops Operating in Turkey, Online Payment Sector Turns to Bitcoin on: June 10, 2016, 06:25:51 PM
Paypal is trash and more and more people will start waking up from it, but maybe they react and start accepting BTC themselves. In fact I think they got some patents pending to add BTC in Paypal soon.

You know I never had issues with paypal until recently, depositing a few hundred and my account was limited when I needed it most. 3 days to open it up again, what I think of them trash is an understatement. I have heard talks for quite some time about them accepting bitcoin in future. I won't be using them again either way I'l just wait for more places to accept bitcoin.

Turkey has an ideal candidate in bitcoin hopefully it all goes smoothly and they turn fully to bitcoin over the next year. It will be huge for the future of crypto!?

106  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: RISE | ICO OPEN | RECORDED VERSION OF "NEXT GENERATION ECONOMY" AVAILABLE on: June 10, 2016, 01:09:59 PM
Sorry that if I repeat the question. I saw Ritche are doing escrow of this ICO. Will there be a RISE pre-sale in bittrex like DAO?

This is the sale you can be part of now with Richie as escrow. As far as I know we will finish on the 24th and that is that, maybe it will be added right away but who knows, it will be ready to trade somewhere that is for sure.
107  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why Gambling is Fun? on: June 10, 2016, 12:53:10 PM
Why everyone is using the Word of Fun for only gambling, if gambling is a game, so all games are interesting and entertainment, not funny, Gambling is not a drama or play, it is a real and mind blowing game.
For me, nothing is funny in gambling.
What do you think of FUN in gambling?

Not sure everyone states gambling is fun? You are right, to me gambling is not really fun most of the time. I play to kill time and be entertained, only rarely when I win a nice amount does it become fun/exciting or when I play poker and you get a plonker on the table playing silly-
108  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: RISE | ICO OPEN | RECORDED VERSION OF "NEXT GENERATION ECONOMY" AVAILABLE on: June 10, 2016, 12:09:40 PM

The benefit you will have RISE most likely at its cheapest it will be. Once the trust has been proven which it will then RISE will rise and the cheap prices will be history. You take the bigger risk for the bigger reward. Weigh up what you prefer.

Yep Biggest risk, biggest Rewards.

I like the project, at lest this guys are showing his faces, not like all the Yobit Ico Scams  Grin

I like taking calculated risks and this is one definitely worth taking. Like you said they are very active on here which helps a lot. The project has nice escrow looking out for the guys so it is a win win and much better than the sales hosted on the above site you mention. All aboard
109  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: earn bitcoins quickly on: June 10, 2016, 07:52:36 AM
To earn bitcoin quickly i suggest to try join a signature campaign depending on your rank and there you can earn up to 0.0026 per day if you have a member account.

The title and the OP have two different asks. Earn bitcoins quickly? Signature campaigns can help you earn quickly but it is nowhere near the 1btc a day you are asking. In reality with the recent rise in price, you better be a high flying professional in whatever you do as you are asking how to earn $200k+ a year.

Not possible for 99.9% of people around here so it is pointless asking as you are getting people tell you some rather silly things.

Why would you think of hacking. you can but u must invest a lot of time here in btc.

It doesn't matter how much time he invests he is not earning 1btc a day. It is creativity, timing a bankroll and luck that has a very small chance of creating something the community needs and the business takes off.

To earn bitcoin quickly i suggest to try join a signature campaign depending on your rank and there you can earn up to 0.0026 per day if you have a member account.

Well quoted but the OP has targeted one whole bitcoin without hacking. It's pretty hard to get, the only possibility is gambling which needs luck as well huge investment.

If he earns 1btc 'PER' day like he said in the OP from gambling he is cheating the sites he plays at and likely hacking. You are not earning consistant income of that magnitude from gambling, legit.

this one will be scam - i tell you Wink

A legendary troll. What a shame posting like this with your rank.

Ignore him the thing is you would have probably seen this same guy on the Lisk and Eth thread screaming scam. And then he looses out and buys fomo of course assuming he actually has something to buy with.  Cheesy
please tell me.  what is the benefits i will get in ico? thanks

Why should invest in LISK coin ?

Don't.

That doesn't answer his question. Why should he not? Master-mind you should research and then research more, if after all this you feel it is a project with potential then you should invest. If you don't feel this after researching for yourself then walk away, it's a very simple process don't listen to the do's and don't s.

How soon after coin sale will Rise be trading and on what exchanges?

That all depends on how soon the exchanges want to add us.

With the release of mainnet on the 24th (end of ICO) there's a high chance Rise will become tradeable soon after.

Hmm so no exchanges lined up yet? One of the main reasons I put 14 BTC into lisk is because they had polo lined up straight away. A decent exchange is crutial to getting a good value of the coin after launch as it gives people confidence in the coin. If any exchanges come up then I may dip my toes in more than 0.1BTC

Also I can not find the recording from yesterday.. Does anyone have a link please?

I find that hard to believe you had inside information that allowed you to know they had poloniex lined up!?? I would have confidence that bittrex will have it added fairly close to launch. Risevision 136 new investors is such a short time frame is awesome isn't it.
I think RISE is most better, than LISK. RISE has a big potential.

They both have wonderful potential and I share my eggs and never have them in one basket. Its the main reason I found RISE and I am glad I did as competition breeds winners on both sides.

Rise think better than the lisk will

I find that hard to decipher to be honest, brush up on your English. However just be glad their is competition that is the point.
113  Economy / Economics / Re: If bitcoin price is $10.000, will fiat be worthless? on: June 09, 2016, 08:21:23 PM
If bitcoin was worth $10,000 and fiat was worthless then bitcoin would also be worthless no? Let's say fiat was worthless it would have nothing to do with bitcoin but everything to do with a plan of a few. My bitcoin would never be sold for worthless paper now or in the future.
what if bitcoin overtake the fiat? all countries use bitcoin as their main currency? I knew this was something that stupid? but we're thinking if bitcoin worth that high
because if bitcoin worth as high as it would have. there is something happening in the world? possible disaster ?

Imho bitcoin will never 'over take' fiat. Many or most countries may use it beside their currency but you need to realize what 'their currency' is and that is control and an illusion. They will never give that up. Even if the time came where a country did, never would the whole world. Regardless of how much bitcoin goes to there will always be fiat and if we're honest it is already worthless but the illusion makes the masses believe its not. If there isn't fiat as I said we would have bigger worries than the price of bitcoin.

115  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Greatest gambling victory on: June 09, 2016, 04:29:05 PM
I'm tired of seeing so many depressing post about gambling losses so I'll start with something more positive.

What is the biggest win(s) you have so far gambling relative to the amount you started. I'll start,

Started with around 100 clams and took it to 5k clams rolling dice and wagering on random silly game with another degen.

3 dollar on a wheel of fortune slot machine winning 1000 on the first spin.

Took 1 BTC to 15 on Primedice.

500 dollars to 25k playing blackjack at a real casino.

Such good times....

Congatulations! Don't gamble away your winnings though, it's very easy to do. I don't gamble so I have no gambling victories, but it amazes me to follow what's going on in the gambling community.

That is funny. You're telling someone that has gambled $10,000's how easy it is to gamble away winnings when you have self claimed not to gamble? I am fairly certain he knows only to well how easy it is because he had done numerous times.

OP my biggest win that I remember is starting off with 0.1 and walking away with 2.8btc. You have had some lovely luck so can only imagine you have had equally bad run of luck to match the above.
116  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: RISE | ICO OPEN | LEAD DEVELOPER HOSTING TALK JUNE 8TH on: June 06, 2016, 07:16:07 PM
Seems like more investors are coming in as I can see a big drop of my estimated RISE.

Smart People makes Smart investments  Wink

and the smartest wait for the end.  Grin

I would say quite the opposite, the smart investors were here on day one collecting a massive extra percentage. Those who arrive at the end do get a better idea of where its going but lack the bonuses. I am a late investor and am not very smart lol
117  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Poloniex is DOWN?? on: June 06, 2016, 06:57:42 PM
Yeah poloniex is down just like the same yobit but yobit right now is ok you can check and log in right now also maybe poloniex is running again.. better to check it now..

Neither site is down for me and both are running. It is very unlikely polo will do anything stupid they are a legit exchange. Yobit? Well do I even need to make a comment on them lol

All transactions will now be BTC1 = BTC1.

Who the hell will sold coins for $10,000 if fiat is worthless. People will not sold their coins due to the fact that fiat will now be worthless. So what is the sense of dreaming a skyrocket price of bitcoin if fiat is worthless.

Fiat will never be worthless globally and if it is we will really no longer care about bitcoin. We will all care about surviving. Like I said my bitcoin is safe and will never be sold for fiat unless emergency comes up, which means I am waiting until I can by all I need as bitcoin prices. Like you said above 1btc to me = 1btc.
119  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you consider trading as gambling? on: June 06, 2016, 05:54:54 PM
Depending on which coins you trade and how good you are, yes trading can be considered as gambling in some cases.
But in general it's all about knowledge, skills and greed.Never let emotions take over!!

That is very good advice to not let your emotions take over!

OP, If you're not on the inside and know where the market is heading 100% then it is gambling, you can have the edge and make some money/extra coin, sure but you will need luck when to buy at the right time and when to sell at the right time, sounds familiar to gambling just with better odds if you have what the above mentioned?
