You can try installing the linux ubuntu wallet from the digibyte.co site (http://www.digibyte.co/sites/digibyte.co/files/crypto/DigiByte-Ubuntu-1.0.0.zip), or you can compile it from source yourself (https://github.com/digibyte/DigiByteProject). The first method might not work as Ubuntu and Mint are slightly different. The compiling from source should work, but it is a bit more work as you'll need to install the dependencies in order to be able to compile it. Yeah I tried method 1 and it didn't work, and I even tried installing in on my Ubuntu 13.10 x64 desktop and no go . Again I've only been using linux for a couple months now . It's not easy but rewarding . So I downloaded the Ubuntu zip wallet (zip ) extracted it in a new folder /home/Me/.Digibyte , but could not run digibyted or digibyte-qt .

Hi guys , Newbie here , how can I get help installing the DigiByte wallet on my Linux mint 16 laptop ? AS I am mining and atm it goes straight to my android wallet (works great!) but I would like to have a perm wallet . Thanks !
