I've already tried the second map but sadly I can't pass my score on the google form because it says I already responded but this is a mistake since the score log I've submitted just recently was for the map 1. Would the team fix this? I mean you allow up to 3 submissions on the form or make 3 separate forms where we submit the log score. Thanks!

You can contact an admin on Telegram, they may be able to assist you in regards to the submissions. https://t.me/CartesiProject

Am I the only participant to test this out and really can't find the "Help" page on how to play this game? Please include it here or on the article, you've made or even helpful if it's on the game menu for the better.

edit: I've found how to play it but for newcomers or just seen this thread, you should probably explain it and by the way, does the reward per map is $500 each or the reward is $500 on all maps?

This is a technical demo, but yes in the full release there will be a help menu with explanations. We appreciate your feedback!

$500 is for all map?
each map/contest period is only have single winner?
and one more question, do I need to submit the game data and filled up the form after playing the game or can I submit it when I think I have more than enough score (It will be hard to reach big score on the first time playing)

500usd is the total prize pool, in CTSI, after 2 weeks of the exchange listing. So each map, there's roughly a $167 per winner. Only 1 winner per map for the highest score submission.

You can only ever submit 1 highscore for all maps, so be careful when you submit.

1. What about blockchain, Ethereum or own?

I think Cartesi will have its own Blockchain instead of using the Ethereum blockchain and so far the project hasn't announced their tokens so we're waiting for the update and what happens after the project launches its blockchain.
Hopefully this will happen because if use the private blockchain, this project will be more interested by investors and certainly this is what the development team needs when starting the project.

For me, using ETH blockchain is too old and should not use this platform anymore because most new projects have a very low success rate when using this platform.

Cartesi's first blockchain implementation is on Ethereum. But it can work on top of any public blockchain supporting smart contracts. It is blockchain-agnostic. In fact, it’s also agnostic to the consensus mechanism, being able to rely on Proof of Work, Proof of Stake, some BFT variant or some kind of quorum.

Our objective is to provide a much better computational layer for DApps. In that sense, the computation is moved off-chain, outside of the consensus layer. The latter being only used to guarantee consensus and security.

Cartesi is a platform for decentralized computation. In that sense, looking at Cartesi as a computer, the correct metric should be “Instructions per Second” (in the same way we would measure the power of CPU’s). The processing throughput (instructions per second) allowed by Cartesi is orders of magnitude of what can be emulated on-chain, allowing for an experience much closer to what we have on Web2.0 while preserving decentralization.

(That being said, any improvement on TPS on the base layer helps Cartesi to perform even better). Finally, as Cartesi can connect to different blockchains it will be a powerful tool for interoperability and securely transferring data and value across chains.

For example, a way in which Cartesi can enhance the power of Ethereum is to give future contracts the ability to read any data on the current state of the blockchain. It is currently not possible for a smart contract to read the balance of another account, or to read the storage of another contract (unless explicitly exposed on interfaces created by their developers).

Cartesi, your COO says that the project will not have it's own blockchain here — https://t.me/CartesiProject/23871:
Quote
To avoid confusion, Cartesi is not its own blockchain. Cartesi is a layer-2 system initially built on top of Ethereum but with plans to be blockchain agnostic. Cartesi is unique in the sense that it allows decentralized applications to be run on Linux in a way that's verifiable by the blockchain. Complex processing can be executed off-chain free from blockchains'  computational limits and corresponding fees.

By offering a Linux runtime environment, Cartesi is the only software-based verifiable off-chain compute system that gives developers a vast array of software that evolved in the last 30 years and that enable the applications we use on the Internet today.

Anyone familiar with developing in a Linux environment will be able to launch a DApp with Cartesi.

Next another admin says the project will use PoS here — https://t.me/CartesiProject/23954:
Quote
CTSI has been designed to overcome the basic challenges that blockchains face in terms of usability and scalability. The Cartesi Network will rely on PoS protocols to provide services such as a side-chain optimized for high throughput and temporary data storage for DApps. CTSI is also used in the incentive protocol as specified in the Cartesi Core (whitepaper) and other convenient services that the Cartesi Network will offer (ex: commit-reveal protocols). Finally, CTSI will isolate DApp developers and users from the instabilities of the different underlying blockchains. In the long run, the CTSI is expected to capture most of the value in the DApp ecosystem, with DApps being portable across different blockchains.

So, some questions:
1. What about blockchain, Ethereum or own?
2. If there would not be own nodes, where will the Linux layer work?

1) Cartesi will be built ontop of Ethereum's Network, acting as a infrastructure or protocol.
2) All development of DApps is built and interacted off-chain, in their native Linux enviroment. This is what we call Cartesi Nodes. So essentially the off-chain component of Cartesi enables anyone to build on Cartesi, while utilizing an OS they are familiar with.

Through the Cartesi Core, it reduces and removes the processing load entirely from the consensus layer, while preserving the security and advantages of blockchain.

The Advantages of Cartesi nodes, it essentially gives developers and DApp creators enhanced computational limits on DApps, scalability, transnational costs and data availability.

If you have further questions on the tech of Cartesi, the team is more than happy to give you a more in-depth and specific response on Telegram: https://t.me/CartesiProject
109  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] CARTESI | A Linux Infrastructure for Scalable DApps on: January 24, 2020, 02:57:13 AM
but if Cartesi run an IEO in a bad exchange like LATOKEN, then it will destroy everything.

I don't think if that happens, it won't destroy everything, considering how cartesi was and being developed I don't think it will happen, at least this basic project I think is strong enough to survive
I also hope that does not happen, therefore I remind the Cartesi team not to hold IEO on a bad exchange because it can reduce  the Cartesi project's reputation which is currently good. we can see that there is no successful IEO (real and potential project) from the Latoken exchange.

Cartesi recently had one partnership so far but it's a good start, I'm more interested in the actual exchange they target for fundraising, this will determined the outcome of the money the project will raise, i hope they chose wisely and not go for cheap exchanges like p2pb2b
of course the public really doesn't like the CERTASI project to register it on the p2p2b exchange because the exchange has a very bad reputation in front of the public, hopefully they can enter quite well-known markets such as binance ... if they succeed in registering there it would be really cool and I am sure there will be more interested in the certasiproject

If we do conduct a public sale, it will not be on these exchanges. We're on the same page with the community and exchanges as such are not what we're looking into at the current time.

The health of Cartesi and possible exchanges to be listed on, are of great importance to us and the future of Cartesi as a whole. We carefully plan each stage and how individuals will respond to such moves.

I highly recommend following: https://t.me/CartesiAnnouncements for all the latest pieces of news and updates.

I saw news about the growth of Telegram communities and the opening of Chinese, Vietnamese, and so on groups. It's strange to have so many members from Brazil on your team and that you don't have a group in Portuguese or Spanish  Huh

We understand there's a desire to open up international communities and the team will continue to analyze metrics of traffic and reception within the main group. A big problem with international communities is that often there's low activity and engagement, we want to make sure that whatever we're putting out that we're devoting our full-effort into those markets.

There will be a future announced program to expand on this idea; the concept and execution is being discussed internally.

we're preparing more transparent and concrete information around Cartesi's token economics, which include price. We're also going to start announcing private investors who've been on-boarded and give our community a clearer understanding on where we currently stand.

One major piece of content that we'll be writing, is about Cartesi's CTSI Utility token and what the primary functions it serves within the Cartesi ecosystem.

Finally some news will be coming out pretty soon about the tokenomics, a much awaited information about this project, too many questions about the price and the ieo lunching has been ask and now we are going to hear it all soon, and i thought private investors are suppose to remain private? why you feel the need to announce them in public, is that really necessary?
well am looking forward to the upcoming announcement that will be made.

We fully understand and have been discussing this internally. Cartesi is entering a new phase, as we've been on-boarding some experienced individuals to aid us on the marketing and public relations end.

We will be announcing who's been funding the project from here on out, most of the backers are already publicly displayed on the partners section of the website (and this ANN).

This will also help give an indirect hint to our community in where we currently stand; along with added transparency.

I am curious about the funds they have collected during the private sale? What is the price of 1 CTSI when seed sale date? What makes this project unique, considering that there is currently a lot of competition and this business seems saturated.

The current price of 1 CTSI has not yet been made public as the team will discuss at the AMA meeting, so we will see from the results of the AMA that we will not see seed sales now but they are still fighting for better marketing so this project will be more beneficial.
Of course many business competitors are happening right now but the Cartesi project has another way to do that.

0,1% for bounty pool Shocked are you serious? Grin
Total supply 1.000.000.000 token .
0.1% just 1.000.000 token for  >>>
Total Pool: 1,000,000 CTSI (0.1% of the total supply)

• Twitter Campaign: 270,000 CTSI (27%)
• Facebook Campaign: 135,000 CTSI (13,5%)
• Content Creation Campaign: 82,500 CTSI (8,25%)
• YouTube Campaign: 82,500 CTSI (8,25%)
• Bitcointalk Signature Campaign: 245,000 CTSI (24,5%)
• Altsoinstalks Signature Campaign: 185,000 CTSI (18,5%)

So , the next question.
what is the price 1 token CTSI ?

Yes, it's a very limited bounty campaign. This was by design, we do not plan to increase the allocations at this time, only potentially restrict users from joining.
119  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] CARTESI | A Linux Infrastructure for Scalable DApps on: January 06, 2020, 03:38:16 AM
A 0.1 percent reward looks like some sort of taunt to the bounty participants. I think a very small number of people will be interested in participating in this. This is approximately 10-20 times less than the expected level of reward. Cry
At least this project is more realistic than most projects that promise large alocation for bounty program but end up fraudulent or will only become shitcoin. so far we do not know the price of Cartesi tokens. but we know that this project has several potential partnerships and has great advisors such as Serguei Popov (Co-Founder of IOTA)
Or Stas Oskin (Core Dev & Bus Dev of Wings.ai), Boris Povod (Co-founder of Wings). And incidentally, do not tell me what now with his Wings project, why the price for the token has decreased many times? I know that they have not fully paid for their holders. These guys found a new topic, smelled new money. It's so simple!

Stas and Boris are both just advisors to the project and have little to do with day-to-day operations within Cartesi. Stas supports on the business side with introductions in the crypto space. Boris supports on the technical side by auditing smart contracts when necessary.

As far as their involvement is concerned and their affiliated backgrounds, experience in the field and skills that complement the team's existing talents, is something we strive heavily for.
120  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] CARTESI | A Linux Infrastructure for Scalable DApps on: January 06, 2020, 03:06:29 AM
Why is this a "quality" project? It's just a website and some social media and plans. Every other project has that. There is nothing that sets this project apart from anything. Anyone could make a website and start social media and write out a white paper and road map. Not impressed.

Thanks for the concerns! We have actually also implemented what is specified in our techpaper (without the DAG) at the moment and it can be found open source via Github here: https://github.com/cartesi.

Keep a watch this quarter for our first DApp to be released and thanks for following along.
