The five best altcoins that have made me smile to the bank are Electroneum, Nexty, Seele, Hydro and Zilliqa. I invested in some of them during ICO and I got closed to x5 of my investments. Though I have also made good money from many others, but they can't be compared to these.

I think the three of them can still be grouped under same name and I think the best name for them should be community support promotion which is part of ICO marketing.

Electroneum is not in a anyway a scam. It is one of the few good projects that I invested in, in 2017 and am still holding some the coin. The project is very committed in bringing the ideas of the platform to life

I think if you have good money this is the best month to invest. Most coins have shared more thsn 70% of their all time high and their price is crazily low now, anyone who buys now will be in good profits in some months now

I disagree with you, none of them is free. In investment world, you either invest your money, time and skills. Bounty hunters and airdrop hunters are investing their time and skills in project they believe in. The token they earned is not free, it is the reward for their labor.

I invested in both Ethereum and Ripple. Both are powerful projects with different usecase. Ethereum has proven itself as platform for ICO and smart contracts. Though Ripple is a little bit controversial due to its centralized nature but when it comes to international money transfer Ripple is the accepted crypto even by many major global banks.

DAICO is a concept proposed by Vitalik Buterin, Ethereum co- founder early this year. It can be seen as a unique model for modern decentralized capital investment.
DAICO as a word is derived from Decentralized Autonomous Organiztion DAO and the Initial Coin Offerings ICO that many of us in this forum is well conversant of. DAICO crowdfunding model helps to put in place strict management conditions for ICO projects in other to protect the interest of investors. Through DAICO, investors of a project can vote for reimbursement of their contributions if they are not satisfied with the development process of the project or if the project team are not working according to the timeline of the project roadmap.
This model will subject the project team to a degree of responsibility to the investors and gives more sense of security to investors who now has the power to vote for refund.
How It Works
DAICO start like conventional ICO. The project team present and advertise their project to potential investors and those who have interest in the project send Ethereum or any other accepted means of buying and receive project token. The token can also be traded after the ICO like the way it is now.
What makes DAICO different is in the sequel , after the calling phase, with a special inbuilt mechanics called TAP which will be put to use. With TAP, investors of the project will be able to control the capital (financial control) employed by the team of the project. After asking for TAP, investors will now vote in support or against it. With this, the project community of investors will now be able to managed their investments and know exactly what their funds is being spent on per time.
Advantages Of DAICO
First advantage of DAICO is that it allows investors to control the invested capital more closely and be a deciding factor in the development of the project. They also have special power to end the entire project by voting for withdrawal of the remains funds, in case they are not satisfied with the project and they don't want it to continue. If the project team are working according to the timeline of their roadmap, they will receive the next tap form the investors group to continue working towards the next milestone. Also if the team is stagnant or has a signal of fraud, investors can withdraw the remaining balance.
In DAICO, power is giving back to investors and they have a significant role and influence to play in the development timeline of the project. If they are not satisfied with the way the project is been run, they can set up a revocation and repayment contract. With this, thr risk of investing ICO projects has been greatly reduced. There will no be cases like project team disappearing with ICO funds after the ICO without working on the project
In conventional ICO model, most time after raising huge funds, the excitement and motivation to continue the project fades away or at least, the activities on the project reduced significantly but DAICO helps in making the team stay motivated and ready to work out what they promised to do throughout the lifecycle of the project.
