101  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ARCOIN] X13 POW/POS - NO PREMINE - NO IPO - TOR IMPLEMENTED on: July 16, 2014, 06:47:43 PM
ARCOIN The most unfair instamined coin ever. 1 hour plus for a windows wallet.

500 blocks mined until windows wallet given.

1 hour != 500 blocks... seriously, learn to do some basic math.

Ok 2 hours....

The Windows wallet was up 50 minutes after launch. The first 50 blocks were zero reward, block 50-100 were 10 coins each. There's no instamine here.

The way I see it, every coin that comes out now is a so called "scam coin" by atleast 20 people.  Listen folks, there is no perfect coin that is going to make everybody happy.  If you don't like a coin, premine, IPO, the Dev, or the coin logo, who cares!  Stop acting like your 12 years old and move on to the next coin you like.

It is not about moving on.

It's about real people investing real money.

What you are saying is: It is ok to sell stolen stuff on Ebay. You do not need to buy it.

You have invested money on this coin?  If so, it's from mining and can't be that much.  So what I would say is the same, cut your losses and move.  So ignorant the people on this forum acting like they are 12 years old and your parents just told them no for the first time.  Most of us on here are adults, and wise enough to make our own decisions.  Making a point once is fine, but to flood a thread crying like a baby is just plain pathetic, on your end.

The only thing that is pathetic here is a dev who is removing comments from people that want to warn other people for the 1 hour instamine because of no wallet @ launch. When comments are being removed all the time I can not make a point once.

I tend to expect more from senior members of the forum, and this is just getting ridiculous Bfljosh / jimn / whoever you really are. Maybe if you spent half as much time learning how to setup a $5/month VPS, compile a wallet, and solomine against it as you have whining about a lack of a Windows wallet IMMEDIATELY at block 0 at launch.. you might get a little more respect around here. Especially since the first 100 blocks had a reduced reward anyway...

All I see in your post history is trolling new coins, too. I would guess you must just be an honestly concerned netizen, but then I see you're promoting MINERALS in your signature... so come on, give this schtick a rest already. Oh, and Bfljosh - tell your sockpuppet account jimn to go to bed - your mom said it is past both of your bedtimes.

Someone just posted this awesome Tibetan Mastiff photo in the ##mastiffcoin IRC channel:

I just got my first mined coins confirmed, and withdrew them to my wallet -- the transaction showed up immediately in the local wallet, awesome!

I just built the Linux wallet from Github -- this is the first coin I've seen with no compile errors, great job!!

Looks good to me! Great choices for specifications, and I love x11.
109  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][POOL] ipoMiner - Profitable multipool targeting new coins on: March 15, 2014, 02:10:15 AM
Congrats on making the official announcement! I've been mining with ipominer since mid-February. I haven't seen any downtime, and profits have been great. Their website isn't the most sexy design, but stability and profits definitely win out over looks..
110  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: SCRYPT ASIC miner ready. BTC+LTC ASIC miner, LA1THS, usd5000, stock ready now. on: March 14, 2014, 07:22:26 PM
I ordered and received an LA3M (set of 10 gridseed units) from Jack a few weeks ago, and just ordered 30 more gridseed units from ZoomHash at a cost of $202.50 each ($6100 total including shipping). That puts me at 40 gridseeds, for a total estimated hashrate of ~14.8M, for $9000 after factoring in accessories. Now, getting it in a nice form factor is worth a little more, but $11000 is too much. Please reconsider the price, or provide more information about the number of chips/etc that might make it more worthwhile.

I agree, $11k is expensive. $9000-9500 would be good.
112  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Bottlecaps v1.5.2 Just Released Checkpoint Node New Wallet Design! Please Update on: March 07, 2014, 04:48:24 PM
I've forked the code here and updated the checkpoint (still says too old) and the IRC server.

If the dev doesn't step in and make needed updates I'll look for a new maintainer for this coin.

Thanks flound! That's great work to help keep bottlecaps alive.
113  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Dicemonk.com - A dice game script that works for any coin - 0.5 BTC on: March 04, 2014, 02:40:38 PM
I emailed you yesterday, but never got a response, and I see you've now raised your price.. this seems a bit fishy.

I emailed both Angela and Jack again today and FINALLY got a tracking number. Apparently my order was picked up by DHL on Tuesday and is now in the sorting facility in Hong Kong.
115  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: SCRYPT ASIC miner ready. BTC+LTC ASIC miner, 1THS(1000GHS) Bitcoin miner, 950W. on: February 26, 2014, 01:44:18 PM
Edit: I finally got a tracking number, which shows it was shipped from Shenzen on Tuesday, cleared customs in Hong Kong today and is on the way to the US.

I also have still not gotten a tracking number, like many others are reporting here. I paid with btc on Feb 11 and was promised "will ship before Feb 20 or refund". I emailed Jack and Angela many times but keep getting replies of "pls. supply ship Tel,post code for ship.thanks" even though I have provided that numerous times. The price premium that Jack is charging for these Gridseed units is pretty high - the only reason I paid it was based on the promise of fast delivery.
116  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: SCRYPT ASIC miner ready. BTC+LTC ASIC miner, 1THS(1000GHS) Bitcoin miner, 950W. on: February 25, 2014, 10:51:43 AM
Good luck Andareed. The reason I went with asiabtc instead of other Gridseed resellers was because of his guarantee to ship by February 20. Unfortunately that hasn't happened, but even worse is the lack of communication.
117  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: SCRYPT ASIC miner ready. BTC+LTC ASIC miner, 1THS(1000GHS) Bitcoin miner, 950W. on: February 25, 2014, 10:31:35 AM
I called DHL today and they said they don't have any packages showing up for my name and zipcode, so I am getting very concerned. I paid by btc on February 11 and the only communication I get from Angela is to repeatedly ask me for my postal code and telephone number... which I've provided four times already. Four days ago I received an email that said shipping would "be arranged tomorrow", but then got yet another email asking for my postal code and telephone number yesterday!?

I paid via btc on February 11 and haven't gotten any shipping information from Jack/Angela. I called DHL this morning and they checked for any tracking numbers to my name/zip code but did not find anything.

Please add Rabbit (RBBT) and Grumpy (GRUMP) coins to coinmarket.

My name is not on the posted list. I sent several emails to the previous address Jack gave (xiangliao@gmail.com), after I paid via btc on February 11. Haven't received any tracking info yet. I just sent an email to the new address, so hopefully that will help...
