101  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty Managers do not Determine the Legitimacy of a Cryptocurrency Project on: July 21, 2019, 03:05:10 PM
I have read a lot of people claiming that the rank or online personality of the bounty manager can help in knowing the or determining if investing in a token project will be worthwhile. I must tell you I was of the opinion until this morning when I learnt about the incompetence of a bounty manager I used to follow. Remember most of us don't know each others beyond our online profile. I learnt he will be managing more bounty after he left his old profile to embrace another one.

Although, he's not tainted as fraud yet because my source won't say if he is. But the issue is if he is to fraud unsuspecting newbies, that how he will do it. U believe u can trust him base on his forum rank and experience. But he is fake who has series of identities for his guise.

So, don't join a bounty or invest in a project because of the bounty manager. Do your research before investing your money or time on any project.

That's right a bounty manager doesn't guarantee the legitimacy of any crypto project, but there a couple of manager who more than not we'll never manager a fishy project, That's just an added benefit but shouldn't stop participants from making their own personal findings about a project before working with them.
102  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: XRP Lost on: July 20, 2019, 08:18:24 PM
Hi I have a hoard of XRP but lost the secret key, I cannot remember the password to the below too.

https://id.ripple.com/auth/migrate

Does it mean that the XRPs are forever lost?

That's sadly one of the disadvantage of blockchain technology, There is no forget password of pass recovery options, Once you lose your private keys, you also lose access to your funds.
103  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Trump’s Tweets Causes Cryptocurency Price To Tumble on: July 20, 2019, 07:48:02 PM
Hello... Friends... Is it true Trump’s Tweets Causes Cryptocurrency Price To Tumble? Recently I read the news Trump’s Tweets Causes Cryptocurrency Price To Tumble

I do not share the same opinion, I think Bitcoins price can not be determined by just Trump's comment, Bitcoin community is larger than just Trump's camp and It doesn't have be price determinant. Cryptocurrency are already placed under check in the U.S so why does his comment have to be the reason for the sudden dump, I think it is just a coincidence.
104  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Habit of Giving Up Is Just An Escape on: July 20, 2019, 07:41:25 PM
Then kudos to all the devs that failed to raise funds for projects and still never give up on working on the project, this means they mean business and they don't depend on funds only to achieve their goals

The efforts of such developers should be commended, a lot of other developers lie about not raising the minimum required just exit scam with the funds the were able to raise so far, some devs do make refunds to investors while most others do not.
105  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A way to dump without having a huge impact of value on: July 19, 2019, 09:03:23 PM
If dumpers can dump coins and tokens in a reasonable way it won't affect the value much , lose in value when dumping happens if a dumper dumps huge amount of the token at once , this is a wrong way to dump coins, this is why till date some devs put locks on their tokens ,some even release percent by percent on term basis just to avoid huge dump.

The best way to dump is not to dump in an instant or a whole at once

Some projects are adopting a new strategy in which they will only distribute a little fraction of the allocated bounty tokens on a weekly or bi-weekly basis, this will ensure that there is enough time for liquidity and the token will be near stability.
106  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Privacy, it matters! on: July 19, 2019, 06:26:13 PM
And sometimes people can easily evade arrest using privacy when they do bad things to others, its one of the reasons i don't like projects with anonymous teams
What's wrong with anonymous team? People must have the right to hide their identity, financial activity. Why everyone will know what I am doing with my money?
Well, if they are doing illegal activity that would be exception and we must avoid them.

Except a coin or project is trying to raise start up funds through an ICO, I think is better for the team to remain anonymous, but no one should trust a team they don't know anything about with their money.
107  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I am very Pro Dogecoin – Says Ethereum Co-founder, Vitalik Buterin on: July 19, 2019, 01:56:55 AM
Dogecoin could be a good cryptocurrency but there are numerous public figures in the crypto space supporting the coin and this could be nothing but just a hype which anyone would not want to get caught up in. Dogecoin does have great advantages over some other altcoins, but It should not be overpaid for all in the of FOMO.
108  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hot Altcoins on: July 18, 2019, 07:08:12 PM
I would suggest you invest into Dogecoin and DeepOnion. Dogecoin will get some bump towards 100 satoshi and DeepOnion is way much lower than its ATH $20. So, I think both this will be a good investment, however, there's much good coin are there.

A lot of news have been trending and suggesting that Dogecoin will be a big thing in the coming months, McAfee also supported the claim. I don't understand the basis of the analysis but I think it maybe reasonable to give it a try.
109  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: what is the prediction of ethereum as of now? on: July 18, 2019, 07:03:40 PM
Last few days have been like a roller coaster for both eth and btc price i think the view that prices can range for the coming months is getting real but we have to wait and see i think if eth surges again and breaks 400 then 500 willnot be an issue but personally i would love to see full recovery of eth to previous highs by the end of the year.

Ethereum was at verge of falling below $200 yesterday and my guess was that it's in the price correction stage, today has seen ethereum +4.35% that's a positive trend.
110  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: XRP SOON ABOVE 60$ ?! on: July 16, 2019, 04:25:08 AM
I don't understand where you got your chart from, but the reality is that it's not possible for XRP  to reach $60 or above anytime soon, not even in the next 2-3 years.
111  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will BNB become the king of all coins on: July 16, 2019, 03:33:02 AM
It is the king of all exchanges, but to become king of all coins bnb should pass a big rode, so I doubt about it.
Just imagine what would happen with your money in case BNB is hacked!

You're right BNB is centralized and it's only usage is associated with Binance, If Binance gets hacked again like it did a few weeks ago, the value of BNB would be at stake, If the hack is more severe compared to the last, BNB surely will take a huge fall, that's not the quality of a coin that is to be expected to be the best of altcoins.
112  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Lessons from crypto in 2018 on: July 16, 2019, 03:03:44 AM
From 2018 I learnt that there will always be peak on either side of cryptocurrency prices, first will be the peak at the top which happened during January 2018 and then the bottom peak which also happend in the last months of 2018, I also learnt that patient and strong hands will always win in the market.
113  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is it bad for altcoin that BTC is dropping on: July 15, 2019, 09:11:00 PM
BTC price dropping will obviously be of no good to any other alternative coin, as the price of Bitcoin will always have a direct or indirect impact on every altcoin. When there is a bull run for bitcoin all altcoins also witness a noticeable increase in price, while a decrease in bitcoin's price is also effective on altcoins prices.

115  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty Campaigns deceiving hunters by changing rules? Read this! on: July 14, 2019, 09:55:02 PM
I don't think a flag can be used in the case of these bounty campaigns, Most of the bounty campaigns have always stated in their rules that they reserve the right to amend the bounty rules as they find appropriate or beneficial to the project without prior information.
116  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What do you think of ETH Price will be by end of 2020? on: July 14, 2019, 09:43:15 PM
Ethereum is facing a major decline in price, and currently 1 ETH is priced $234, but by 2020 the price will increase If there is a bull run, I predict ETH will be over $600 in value.
117  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who Says Bear Market is BAD? on: July 13, 2019, 11:57:45 PM
The biggest traders and crypto whales are those who make the most profit out of the bear market, they buy from all weak hands and wait for the bull market to return, then they sell to the same weak hands who are trying to get back in the game because of increase.
118  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DOES IT REALLY HAVE TO DO WITH EXPERTISE? on: July 13, 2019, 11:52:37 PM
There was a time when a lot of people regard as expert were making prescription on any altcoin that can possibly surpass bitcoin in value. A bunch of people, even on this forum when with ethereum. Most of them even gave a timeframe of 2020.

They seem not to observe that bitcoin has been established to appear as the regulator of other well and already established cryptocurrencies. You will observe that their prices go up as that of the bitcoin goes up and vice versa.

Experts can't say what will happpen with 100% certainty, All experts do is to predict what is likely to happen, using the information at their disposal  to make an informed guess, It doesn't mean they will always get it right.
119  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: FOMO is not good at all times! on: July 13, 2019, 11:38:13 PM
Buying a coin or Investing in public or private sale because of the FOMO (Fear of missing out) has led a lot of persons to bankruptcy or debt, It is advisable to miss out than to lose your money.
120  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can a bitcoin exchange or any altcoin transaction be cancelled due to error? on: July 12, 2019, 10:44:31 PM
can a BTC exchange be terminated before it has been affirmed, or is it that once communicated it is beyond the realm of imagination to expect to drop whenever

If the transaction is off the blockchain and just within the exchange database then it's possible, but once a transaction is being broadcasted to the blockchain, there is no stopping it. Except for rare case of the infamous 51% attack on the coin's blockchain network.
