After next block halving range is likely to be 8 to 16 satoshi range. As supply reduces price is driven upwards. 100 satoshi potential within 5 weeks. I absolutely believe this likely by community support. For that to happen sell walls will need to move up and buys will have to buy up the current walls. If it becomes rare enough I believe it could be possible. There's a lot of coins on the exchanges right now. One of the disadvantages of the speedy block halving until the minting process is that you need the distribution to be quick, however I believe the current prices are misleading, as this is what happens when a coin is released on exchanges early on; it gets dumped. It's true of any Cryptocurrency. What people aren't taking into account is the scarcity principle. If enough people came along and bought up the current Mint with a few BTC, what do you think will happen to the price? It will go up. But it would then go straight back down. Why? Difficulty and coin generation. But.. Once the block rewards reach 1 (or end entirely. I'm still not sure sure on this point), there will be no more huge influx of mined coins to dump, so the downward pressure on the price will decrease significantly, and with the increased scarcity, the value of holding mint due to the minting process, and the inability to crash the price as it increases due to an inability to mass dumping, it all adds up to a coin that looks worthless now, but I assure you it will not in a few weeks. I feel loathe to explain this as I'm still mining as much Mint as I can before this happens, but I just wanted to explain exactly what's going to happen before it does happen. If only to say "I told you so". Enjoy these early days. Why would you even bother with Mint when there is a new coin released every day? (when it's scarce) People can choose to ignore it, how do you generate demand over all other coins? (and BTC) |

Any update on Big Vern and Cryptsy getting their act together and list this coin?  They won't so soon. The problem is, that wolong has premined too much and holds 3% either in BTC or PANDA. This is a huge for one guy and it means, that he can easily move the market where ever he wants to. You can trust him, but I wont. I wouldn't trust anyone who literaly writes "TRUST IN ME" on their coin. But then there have been enough fools spilling 250BTC in his pocket without him doing anything. Remember when Stablecoin-Dev had to publically destroy his whole premine, because no one wated his coin? Well back then there been guys on the market, that been a bit more careful of where to invest in. Today it seems normal to have big premines, no one cares anymore, and the market is flooded with scam. Today, after Doge's success, it seems this is filled with teenagers who spill out their hard earned money into the first swashbuckler who promises fast profit. BigVern is quite serious about his business and doesnt want to load dynamite into his exchange. It would take wolong only 1 click to crash the whole thing. there's alot of simple things that can screw it up Pandacoin.conf would screw it up its pandacoin.conf , i would just delete wallet then redownload and do what i said i had problems with it for a few hours here's my nodes but just try what i said delete the conf in your panda qt folder and then goto %appdata% roaming panda coin then put the panda.conf there

to fix this issue. - go to installation folder where you extract pandacoin-qt to - open pandacoin.conf - add all the nodes in the thread above - save, and close it now go to explorer - search %Appdata% - open folder: roamining > PandaCoin - copy pandacoin.conf from pandacoin-qt folder, to PandaCoin folder restart pandacoin-qt it should sync within minutes. this takes a few minutes to fix. ask if you have questions |

go to %AppData% -> Roaming, and copy your panadacoin.conf from your download to the PandaCoin folder. Restart pandacoin-Qt, that should work. |

Increased liquidity= reduced volatility. The opposite should have been in effect. The coins with NO volume should've been way off and panda should've been stable because of the increased liquidity.
If a crashing exchange is your only excuse for the lower price, then how come the price is not higher at mintpal? They never went down. Just admit it...people are dumping.
Calm down lol First few days are always volatile, it was fluctuating between 70-100 before cryptorush went down At current difficulty, it still gives a pretty good amount of coins per day. Its profitable so some people will sell at that price Once difficulty increases sufficiently, prices will follow (hopefully) difficulty increase? I will bail first why would I mine a coin that's artificially propped by 1 person? I will eat his BTC. Thank you though! |
