New MyriadSwitcher version 0.2.28 released It now tries all off the three API's I've heard of so far. If one goes down, it will check again and pick the first to return valid data. I don't think there's more than a handful miners using the switcher at this point, but will do my best to keep it working anyway I finally decided to lose my windows virginity when it comes to mining and had my first play with myriad switcher this weekend. I encountered a strange issue when it was switching from one algo to another, it didn't seem to close down the algo that it was swithcing from. At one point, according to the miner outputs, I was simultaneously mining skein and qubit, with about an 80/20 split in terms of relative hashrates. Didn't think that was even possible ?! Anyway, thanks for the update, and maybe I'll tinker some more soon. Well, it shouldn't be mining two algos at a time. That's not something the switcher should be doing. What miners are you using? The ones that are included in Simplicity. Gotcha, let me fix that real quick

Myriad miners are a small legion now but with proper advertising of the switcher and the inevitable influx of support after upcoming projects are finished, it'll be used much more. Cheers dazz ! Thanks Neuro. Good news is all three APIs are up and running now, so any previous version should work just fine. I also refactored the code a bit so that adding new APIs, if needed, should be a matter of just a few minutes.

Not really Neuro, I need a service with difficulties for each algo, preferrably json or xml.

Very nice. I'll update the subreddit with this but Reddit does not allow link shorteners. Can I have a different link? BTW, Glad to see you're still around! No need to update the link Neuro, it's always the same one. I just update the contents with new versions when a new one needs to be released. Keep it up guys, you're doing a great job best of luck!

I just read my post and indeed to some I probably sound like a raving lunatic, or the concepts presented are too complex for some at the moment (not that I am great but I have experienced a change in my thinking over the past few years). No worries, I have other plans to communicate my thoughts and feelings, and if I be banned from this thread and this forum so be it.
You empathize more with your imaginary friend than with those who lost their coins here, who are real people and the last thing they need is (yes, you sound like) a raving lunatic trying to take advantage of their troubled situation to preach your dogma of choice.

Putting the new design in place, there are lots of little things that need fixing (i.e. if you're a whale with tons of shares the financial stuff might be running into/off the edge of some of the tiles)..
But after today, if you find glitches/bugs or have tweaks outside of basic style things, please post or PM me. Thanks!
Those with small amount of shares might need a few more decimal digits, particularly for BTC. I love the new design though

At some point this weekend, i'll be implementing the new design, here's a sneak peek: As far as I was concerned, the layout made no sense since I was just adding in things that I thought were a good idea as people brought them up (originally it was just doing BTC estimates!). I recently got a new phone and I thought the layout was ass and it wasn't really that touch-screen friendly, at least for my old fingers.... plus, I really wanted to see EVERYTHING in one place and hide some of the things that were taking up too much screen real estate (like the calc form, which is now hidden/revealable). There's a "slot" reserved for the ROI charts to also be on the home page now too (under the earnings over time chart). That will be my next thing to do after I get through this and find the time. Really cool man. Flat design right? Looks great.

Yeah. Unfortunately I picked a library for the GUI (wxPython) that happened to have compatibility issues in Linux

Guess its time to scrape insight. I'd really prefer not to have to scrap to be honest, and keep chasing html or url changes.
