101  Other / Meta / Re: How about a cloud mining sub-forum? on: December 22, 2014, 02:05:55 AM
I agree. It's become a big enough thing to warrant its own dedicated subforum.
102  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin accounting meeting FASB standards? Stopping companies from using it? on: December 22, 2014, 01:43:05 AM
The easiest way to accept bitcoin would be through Coinbase or Bitpay. They already have the tools made. Tell them to check out those options and reconsider it.
103  Economy / Economics / Re: Sizing and detailing the bitcoin economy by segments on: December 22, 2014, 01:38:38 AM
There's also the money transmission service. Sending bitcoins to anywhere in the world costs a fraction of Western Union, etc.
104  Economy / Economics / Re: Right time to switch from CHF into BTC on: December 22, 2014, 01:36:48 AM
Negative interest rates? Then I guess it's a good time to get a loan? Huh
105  Economy / Economics / Re: Good article or video on Bitfinex/Bitcoin future short/longs on: December 22, 2014, 01:35:32 AM
Coindesk.com has good news articles about this topic. Other than that, Google is your friend.

Contact bitmain directly and let them know of the issue. They will most likely be able to fix it. Worst case, revert to the previous firmware.

108  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Bitstamp Support C9ntact? on: December 22, 2014, 01:26:12 AM
This isn't the correct area for this post. Regardless, how is anyone on here going to help you with a problem with bitstamp? You need to keep trying to contact them.
Sorry about your problem.
109  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: Multipool by sigwo: NO registration, 0% stratum fees, BTC, DOGE, RBY and more! on: December 22, 2014, 01:23:41 AM
Nice looking site. However, it's going to be hard to get a lot of people to join. And when you don't have a lot of people in the pool, your chances of finding blocks will be very low, thus leading to invariable/unreliable payouts.
110  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: problem with rpcminer on: December 22, 2014, 01:20:57 AM
You won't make anything mining bitcoin with a CPU. With your current speed, you'll make 0.00000038 btc (aka $0.0001) in a month. This is not an exaggeration.
111  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Antminer S4 PSU issue on: December 22, 2014, 01:17:00 AM
You should probably contact Bitmain directly. If there's a problem, you can RMA it.
112  Economy / Services / Re: GAW MINERS PAYS FOR YOUR SIGNATURE >>> HIGH RATES 50posts = 0.1BTC JOIN US! on: December 21, 2014, 07:17:28 AM
I've updated my signature. It doesn't seem like you updated my renewal in your chart, though.
113  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Which pool on: December 17, 2014, 04:42:46 PM

115  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: guiminer.net on: December 16, 2014, 05:45:06 PM
Use cgminer; it's still being supported. The developer of Guiminer is no longer around.
116  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Looking to custom build a rig on: December 16, 2014, 05:42:02 PM
Building a miner isn't the same as building a PC. You should let the professionals handle it and buy from a manufacturer. Unless you have a background in this sort of thing, stick with professionally built miners.
117  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: New to mining on: December 16, 2014, 05:38:51 PM
Your electricity is cheaper than the average price, so you have an advantage. I'd also suggest trying to find a used miner. You'll pay much less than $1250. If you go that route, only deal with trusted users or use an escrow service.
118  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: difficulty predictions on: December 16, 2014, 05:34:51 PM
Looks like you were way off. Tongue
Thankfully, the difficulty hasn't moved much in the last few weeks.
119  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Which pool on: December 16, 2014, 05:32:55 PM
Don't use ghash. Anything else should be fine. I personally use eligius.
120  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: How much btc mined? on: December 16, 2014, 05:31:43 PM
I hope you have those coins in cold storage. Having 50btc in a hot wallet would be very risky.
