Hi guys, suprnova adding Chaincoin (algo C11) on this pool. Go mining and recieving profitably.
One my card gtx 1060 ~ 9500 Kh/s (overclocking) https://chc.suprnova.ccWhat is the rewards scheme? Apparently each block generates 8 coins, 6 goes to 1 person and 2 goes to the other. do you have a bat config, I must be doing something wrong//... Use ccminer for nvidia. Getting 9800kH/s on my 1060 here.

*snip*
I’m not sure if this is your issue but I believe you must have this line of code in your config file .... mingprivkey= <insert your spreadcoin wallet private key here> though those instructions seem to infer its only needed with encrypted wallets so idk, just throwing it out there...anyway I have it in my config file. Thanks for the suggestion! I've now tried that, however still no luck sadly. I'll try reinstalling my drivers after DDUing them next all is well with you wallet ... except for the mining rig allowances mate ... add these two lines in your conf and restart the wallet ... then point the miner to the rpcport you have setup ... rpcconnect=127.0.0.1 rpcallowip=192.168.*.*
being older code - it allows the '192.168.*.*' setup - and doesnt enforce the full ip address designation ( ie - 192.168.0.0/24 ) ... rpcconnect=127.0.0.1 - connect to the local wallet found on the 'local' address 127.0.0.1 ... rpcallowip=192.168.*.* - allow all ips within the 192.168 address network ... remember that only allow the the network addresses of YOUR network ... so if your network is 10.10.x.x - then your allow designation will look like this ... rpcallowip=10.10.*.* hope this helps ... #crysx Thanks! Still got the same issue, it's connecting and hashing but not using my gpu at all. Must be a problem with my network somewhere.

Run the cards at stock speeds for a while, it might well be that overclock.

"Never mined on" "lightly used" etc
Yep. Mining??? I don't even know what that means. 470 4gb, $450 only for you my friend... Overclocked...? what's that? ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif)

Hoping someone can point out what I'm doing wrong here ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) I've followed both the video and text guide - https://github.com/spreadcoin-project/SpreadCoin-Wiki/wiki/Mining-GuideI've set up my spreadcoin.conf as so (non encrypted wallet): rpcuser=rpcuser rpcpassword=rpcpass rpcallowip=127.0.0.1 rpcport=41677 port=41678 gen=0 server=1 addnode=5.35.253.206 addnode=94.23.23.194 addnode=52.17.253.8 addnode=37.59.18.108 and using the default .bat: spreadminer -o http://127.0.0.1:41677 -u rpcuser -p rpcpass Synced with the network as well, however when I goto mine on my GTX 1060 6GB using spreadminer_v0.1r3, I get about 60 kh/s and my gpu usage is at 0% I've mined coins since BTC and never had an issue, so I guessing I'm being stupid and missing some obvious!

Isn't proof of stake distributing coins based on claiming it? Then why do we still need to mine coins like ETH?
Thanks in advance for the answers
ETH isn't POS yet.

I know it is possible to get 29mh on 1060 6gb. any idea how? paid solution works for me as well. any smart guys over here?)
Even with the latest optimizations the best I could get was 27ish...with newer mining gpus it might break that barrier. How did you manage that if you don't mind sharing? I just got a 1060 6gb a few days ago and 23.5 is best I've got so far, I'm used to amd cards ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) Would you mind sharing your method? I'm only getting 19.5 on my zotac gtx 1060 6gb amp edition. It has samsung ram. My settings are +100 clock, 70% power, and +650 memory. What nvidia driver and claymore versions are you using? I've got a strix 1060 6gb with samsung ram, +100/+700, 100% power and 0.95mV locked on the msi afterburner voltage curve editor. claymore 9.6 and 384.76 drivers.

330 sol/s 23.3 Mh/s
Asus strix 1060 6gb @ +210/+700 @950mV/49c
Just got it a few days ago and still tweaking but I think I won't get much more out of it.
Samsung memory? Yep.

Try a lower memory clock and work your way up a few mhz at a time.

Glancing at that it appears he's just changed information that is displayed. Pretty sure you could change that value to anything and it'll show.
I guess you could try running a game that uses a lot of vram and check with RTSS if it's using more than 4096MB.

The only cards that you can flash to 8GB from 4GB are the original 480 reference cards and the Nitro+ isn't one of them, I own it myself. It's quite standard now for companies to use one box for all their cards and just slap a sticker over the ram.
I would really do more research before doing anything like modding and flashing your cards bios, you're going to end up bricking your cards. Flash them back to the stock bios and overclock with msi afterburner or the like for now while you do research.
For example, googling your cards make/model would have told you can't flash it to an 8GB. I'm just glad you did it totally wrong or you would have most likely fucked your cards.

Neat. I'm going to build a dedicated mining rig soon (instead of just using my main pc) so I'll be sure to give it a whirl!
