It's actually quite surprising because essentially Liveproul is pretty much preventing his opponent from touching the ball in this match. Everton's ball possession is only 24%, I don't understand how they even managed to score a goal against Liverpool, what to talk about the whole two goals we actually have. Liverpool with this match put an end to their championship. Manchester City are getting closer to the title
What Liverpool experienced in this match was basically beyond expectations. I think there are many gamblers who will ultimately be disappointed by Liverpool's defeat in this match, but this is football. It is not always possible to expect the favorite team to win the match, even if they dominate ball possession by almost 80%. Liverpool are currently 3 points behind Arsenal, while Manchester City, who have two games in hand, will try to surpass their two points against Brighton and Nottingham.

Manchester United can certainly win their home match today. Additional goals from Bruno Fernandes and Rasmus Hojlund made Manchester United lead the match with a score of 4-2. This match was tough for Manchester United, especially because Sheffield forced Manchester United to work harder to win the match.

But there is something going on with them in the wrong direction. I saw the game statistics and from the looks of it you wouldn't think that Liverpool lost the game  like that. 77:23% ball possession for Liverpool and 13:4 corners, yet they couldn't score a goal. But it is not uncommon at the moment for them. The Atalanta disaster was the same as it was a game at home for them and yet they couldn't score whole conceding three goals. It's very unfortunate that Liverpool gets into trouble when the most important games take place. I doubt that they still have a chance to win the Premier League.
102  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: April 24, 2024, 06:49:49 PM
At this point, even though they had a very bad second half of the season, Juventus still carries a chance to win a cup this season, and that's very good for them. They may have failed at the league and not doing that great, they were going for the title and not only lost that and even lost the second place, and I think coppa italia is the only thing that means something for them. They are going to have hard time at the finals of course, it is not going to be easy, but if they can win that, it would be at least another cup at their museum and that means something.

It is not as good as getting the league, but on a season when they are not even at Europe, it is good to end the season with one title, that should definitely be great.
This is the only chance for them to win anything this season. The return match against Lazio was very difficult, and Juventus was lucky that Milin scored a goal, on the sum of two matches this was enough to qualify for the final. Today we will find out what their opponent will be in the final, Fiorentina or Atalanta. Fiorentina won the first match, but Atalanta is hosting them at home today and I think they can win. Although Atalanta is not a home team, they can play well in attack if necessary.

That's indeed pretty much the last try for Juventus Turin and the season was about to go down the toilet after they have lost sight of Inter Milan in the league and there were no games in the Champions or Europa League. I guess there is nothing to worry about for them in the Serie A as Roma lost that game against Bologna, probably the best outcome Juventus Turin could hope for.

But next season, I think it won't be an easy season for Juventus Turin. They haven't playing consistently well with the team they have now and I don't see a lot of opportunities for them to sign big names on the transfer market. Vlahovic is more like an average striker. Every season I think that now his time has come and he finally scores a shit load of goals, but he doesn't.

Finishing 3rd or 4th in the league while they had all the time in the world to focus on the domestic league is not a satisfactory result. Clearly, Inter Milan now took the lead in Italy and I think it will remain like that for several years to come.
103  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: April 24, 2024, 06:35:41 PM
I think maybe Bayern's mistake was to send Nagelsmann off the team. Nagelsmann was playing well in the team. Maybe Nagelsmann would have been better this year, but the difficult decision to send him away from Bayern Munich brought a steady decline for them. Tuchel was not as successful. Considering what we talked about today, I think Tuchel's decision was wrong. The league championship, which has not been lost for a long time, slipped away this year.
For sure, it was a mistake to send Nagelsmann off. Tuchel is not doing well currently and he will continue to struggle because players don't seem to have much trust in him. Despite Harry kane, who scores a lot of goals for Bayern in important matches, FC Bayern can't win Bundesliga anymore.

Bayern should develop a plan to win Champions Leage now but we all know winning Champions Leage is very difficult.

What do you mean he will continue to struggle? Did you get the impression that the coach or the players struggled in the Champions League quarterfinals? It was quite the opposite. Yet, the only right decision is to get rid of Tuchel. Surprisingly the guy always finds another big club to immediately get going after he gets fired. Once these coaches made it to the top of the list in the world, it doesn't matter what their results are. They sign contract after contract. Just look at Pochettino, one of the worst in the business. But he doesn't care, next club will be waiting for him when Chelsea fires him.

104  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sports winnings taxes on: April 24, 2024, 06:32:13 PM
Hi I won 7 figures on soccer betting over the last few months and withdrew the crypto to my cold wallet, how can I sell this crypto and avoid paying taxes?

The least amount of information you need to provide is to actually let people know which country you are from or what the tax regulations are in your country? If your plan is to outright evade taxes that you know are usually due, then asking around in this forum in public is probably not the best way to get the information you are looking for, let alone anyone sane would feel the urge to answer in detail.

In some countries taxes are due on winnings from gambling and then some taxes are due on gains from selling the crypto. It depends. But if the taxes are low on gains from gambling, paying those taxes and then immediately sell the crypto should not go hand in hand with more taxation under most regulations as the money you hold in crypto has been taxed already so to say. Unless you hold the crypto for a while and you realize gains from holding the crypto itself. That's the second case then.

@trofo "will we see 3 QB’s in the top 5 NFL draft picks?"

What's 3 QB? I'm lost here  Grin
That was the question from cryptofrka, don't take my answer as 100% but I read that as quarter back and I am quite sure I am right  Grin. You know the most important position in that game, the guy that throws all the balls... Luckily I am free in qualifiers so did not have to google that one Smiley

Sorry for the redundancy here @Trofo, but I don't need to research questions 1. - 5. correct? There are no free bets to be played for and since I am among the first 10 of division 1, I only put in proper answers for round 1 questions? I don't wanna *** this up.

I'm very happy to maintain my lead by winning 3 points after a challenging competition with Strongkored. I'm proud of my team because of their collecting 19 points in their first 8 matches of the season. Maybe I'm going to play one of the most important matches of the season against the last champion vd309 next week. And I'm very excited because of that.

Seems to be no coincidence that it's me with a game in hand who was the only one to beat you this season! Wink Painful loss right in the first round when Trofo destroyed me 6-3, but good recovery so far. Though, there are still 6 free points included from casperBGD and lees-1334 failing to submit. But I am satisfied with how it has been going recently. I was finally able to improve my goal difference a little. But you deserve the lead as you got the best offense across all leagues so far.

Juventus dropping points against Cagliari could become a costly mistake although they can be lucky that Roma is now taking on Bologna and points will be dropped. But Roma is still two games behind and if they win the game that was suspended against Udinese and then the game against Bologna, the table could be looking very scary for Juventus. I thought they had been through already weeks ago, but didn't think that they would start dropping points nonstop. A win against Bologna would definitely be the decisive step for Roma to make the Champions League qualification possible. De Rossi is doing a pretty good job and Mourinho must be asking himself what was going on with the team under his management.
It is not very surprising to see Juventus can't get full points against Cagliari because Juventus has dropped their performance in the last few matches. It is not so different with the last 2 seasons, they always wasted the chance of collecting full points toward the end of the season. Allegri is a typical coach who can't focus in the remaining matches in second half of the season. I don't understand why Allegri always did it, I think it is because he often gets a dismissal issue when the season is almost over. Honestly, it is very annoying to see Juventus performing very inconsistently when it is in crucial time.

I don't think Juventus will be lucky. We don't know if Roma could steal points against Bologna. Bologna is a strong team and they will try all out to catch Juventus. If Bologna can beat Roma, they have a chance to overtake Juventus position in 3rd place. However, Juventus will be safe in UCL zone, they will end the season in 4th place at least.

That is exactly why I thought they would be doing a much better job this season and not allow for their Champions League qualification to be at risk out of a sudden. Their perfjoamcne trend is seriously concerning although I wouldn't care if they miss the qualification. They either deserve or it or they don't, but one thing is for sure and that is that the club has to fundamentally change some things in order to get back to again be one of the top teams in Europe. It will only get harder now and without the Champions League they would probably lose another three years or so.

Well, we have to take things into consideration as they are, I know that Brazil has had many problems as a team, so far they have done a bad job in the qualifiers for the next World Cup, in fact they have drawn and lost with teams that should not have done so, but Of course this has happened due to lack of a coach, and that must be corrected as quickly as possible, because we have already started the playoffs, they are also coming to the Copa América. I think that will be the best event for the coaches to show themselves to others. and it is where the greats will be measured , for me Argentina will always be one of the best in the world, but because Messi is there, without Messi the team does not fit well, that is what it seems to me, now Brazil has many stars and that It is a point in its Favor.

It's tough for Brazil, but I think for any country and team to have a superstar like Messi and then when they quit playing, everyone understands that it probably can only get worse. What's the chance that another Messi is in the making and is able to perfectly substitute him. We as the fans also will miss him. Even now at his age he still has this insane quality to create surprise moments for him team. Passes that nobody would expect or shots that hardly anyone else could do the same way.

Brazil is in trouble. They have had a lot of close games, but still. It shouldn't be the case and usually I think a team with so many top players should be able to get along even without a great coach against underdogs, but I agree with you that they lack leadership both on and off the field.

My lord, it is always intense to see that Hamburg somehow manages to mess things up. I guess this will always be the same for the next two decades to come for them! Cheesy

I am not sure that this is even funny anymore, but the will once more manage to finish a season as 4th. My god... What the heck is wrong with them. Huge city, tons of money and yet they can't manage to get promoted again. Looking forward to a whole decade of 2. Bundesliga HSV.

i think that the sporting director jonas boldt will have to leave hamburger sv at the end of the season. i can't see this arrogant guy anymore. even if there are still 12 points !
the hsv will finish this season in fifth place. i can't imagine that the hsv will get 9 or 12 more points.
but if 1.fc köln gets relegated, it will be a top 2.bundesliga again next season with many great stadiums.

but i am happy that two north german clubs are promoted to the 1st bundesliga. and..... the first club from schleswig holstein in the 1st bundesliga > > holstein kiel  Grin

Kiel deserves to go up as they developed into the most consistent team at the right time. Pauli has shown some weakness, but will probably get away with it and Hamburg, well I think there is not much left to say about them. It's incredible... But they still have the game against Pauli at home, which might be a derby where there is still something on the line for them. But the only chance I see for them to still be promoted is to win the remaining 4 games. First stop will be at Braunschweig and if they don't win that one, I think it is over for them. Düsseldorf has two relatively easy games at home, which I think they both will probably win and that makes it still a 5 points difference, which means Hamburg has to win it all.

But as you said, there are now other clubs from Northern Germany that are good to go. Pauli in the 1. Bundesliga is always fun.

Unbelievable that Dortmund is giving away that win against Bayer Leverkusen despite playing with only 10 players. They should never concede such a goal after a corner like that, but well, Leverkusen's dream to survive a whole season without a single loss is still alive. They would be the first team ever to do that and I think they took a huge hurdle now that they didn't lose the game against Dortmund. This was the game I thought they could certainly lose.

By now I think Alonso himself can't believe that they once again scored a goal in extra time! This is getting scary! Grin

That makes two of us, but the first real test for me begins in approximately 30 minutes from now, and Tsitsipas vs Ruud, I need Tsitsi big on this one, Barcelona could still go either way and we both get it wrong, but my biggest form advantage would lie in Tsitsipas getting pass Ruud for this one!
This one was in Ruud hands from the moment he broke back in the first set. More than deserved tournament win, he was the best player whole week in Barcelona. Damn, I ma good in H2H questions, maximum points in both of them for me.

Very solid pick by the way. I think you are pretty good at taking into account some important details I am not even able to spot here. I did the obvious thing: made my picks for the final and then looked up how Ruud played against Tsitsipas in recent matches and when I saw that Tsitsipas destroyed Ruud in the Monte Carlo final, I could definitely not convince myself to go with Ruud here. Tell me your secret and how in light of the Monte Carlo final you came to the conclusion that this one could easily go Ruud's way? As I said, very good call! I expected Tsitsipas to definitely win a set in that final at least. But it's again him, wins big time one day, loses big time the other day...

Pandemie, Helikoptergeld, Krieg, was auch immer.

Cheesy

Old but gold, in diesem Sinne (dass der es wirklich mal gewagt hat, das auf Papier zu malen und zu erklären Cheesy):

Its quarter final time in Barcelona and its looking more and more like a Ruud v Tsitsipas
final. Tsitsipas is looking really confident in Barcelona and plays Diaz Acosta today, Ruud plays
Arnaldi.

Not if Tsitsipas keeps going like that. I stopped counting now but I can tell that there have been so many breaks that I've lost count. Now another break in favor of Acosta and it is going to be a few tough final games in this match. Might be ending in a tie-break and my bet was on Tsitsipas. Maybe only Ruud will go to the final...

Quite surprising that Tsitsipas had such difficulties. Diaz Acosta did not make it easy for him. He even had the chance to reach the semi-final twice in the last set with match point. But in the end Tsitsipas probably had the better nerves. 10:8 in tiebreak. His next opponent will be Lajovic or Fils. Which are already playing and Lajovic leads 3:1.

You could think that, but as much as he is not predictable, it is still his favorite surface and he had no serious opponents in top shape. I think there is a point in choosing him as the potential finalist or even as a potential winner of the tournament. But anyway, at least Barcelona hets to see a pretty high profile final. Not the one they were hoping for for sure as Nadal was out early and Djokovic didn't even start, Alcaraz pulled back. I think we now get to see how the level of expectation for great finals has to drop in the future.

Ronaldo's case is even more complicated because his iconic jersey number was given to Braga star Bruma in their friendly match against Sweden in the Estadio Dom Afonso Henriques. This might be an indication that the Al-Nassr superstar might not have an automatic shirt in the World Cup. Messi's shirt in the national team is secured because coach Lionel Sebastián Scaloni has assured him that he is always welcome in the national team. In the case of Klyrian Mbappé, he is at the peak of his career and is a key player on the French national team. So he will surely lead France to the next World Cup.

I read some articles and I saw that Bruma only wore no 7 in the match against Sweden and that was because Ronaldo didn't play. However, it was stated there that Bruma only wore number 7 in that match and would return to wearing number 17 for other matches. No. 7 for Portugal is the same as no. 10 for Argentina. It is a sacred number that can only be given to the best of the best players. I am sure that Messi and Ronaldo will play in the 2026 World Cup and they will still wear number 10 and number 7. I even think it is possible that if both of them retire, these numbers will be given specifically by them to young players who they consider worthy of wearing these numbers. Grin

Bruma is not the big deal here, the big deal is whether Brazil will deliver now or no as it still look so easy that they should win, but nobody really knows at this point whether they are going to win! I think they will qualify, but could they mess this up. It would be insanely unique!

Indeed. I didn't think he would have that many issues during the game as clay is his best surface, isn't it?

Yeah statistically he won 4 titles on clay and the last one was a week ago but the thing with Tsitsipas is that, he is quite unpredictable. I almost thought he would lose tonight though after losing the first set but it was still pretty close game for my taste

Extremely unpredictable, that's Tsitsipas! He was fazed with a couple of match points today but he overcame them, even though he secured an early break of serve in the 3rd set and one would have expected him to see that through a bit easier than what turned out to be a need for a tie break to win the set and match.
Don't make it all about Tsitisipas, I did not watch the match today but I watched his opponent previously in this tournament and he played some incredible tennis. +5.5 games on him was a value bet for me today. Too bad I coupled it with both to score on Lazio game. Ah well, you win some, lose some  Grin

Turns out, that the biggest critic now has to acknowledge that he finally delivered.

The discussion about tennis players is always a central point where opinions clash, but I think it is a very interesting part you include into the competition. Well, cheers!

f(β,Frequency,Entropy)= 1/ 1+e −k(β−0.5+(1−Frequency)⋅Entropy)
