Faircoin was added to alcurex.org and trading on it will open shortly. AlcurEX OY is a registered cryptocurrency exchange based in Finland. Hello all, The technical work by the faircoin dev team related the mintpal recovery process is already done but needs a security audit before the beginning. So it will be tomorrow. As an advance what will be presented tomorrow is a form to confirm information and request addititional information to faircoin mintpal users to help to quickly set up a working withdrawal procedure from Mintpal V1 This form will be operative between tomorrow and tuesday, as we have agreed with mintpal V1 give until tuesday before proceed with the faircoin withdrawals. In light of the MintPal closure does anyone have any spare altcoins they no longer want. If so use them to vote to add FairCoin to the new exchange ColdCryptos they need a total of $120 of cryptocoin votes to add FairCoin. You can pay with up to sixty different cryptocoins. Just click on the vote now feature within this LINK to create a wallet to top up and vote with. I know we now have the new exchange Vaultex but the more exchanges we can get to add FairCoin the better. To help with decentralisation and redundancy plus in case Valutex was ever to go offline. Plus if they get enough votes to add FairCoin to their new exchange then it'll also be added to their Facebook Multicoin Tipping App and their soon to be released Twitter tipping bot. Hi, I'm happy to announce that the first public beta phase of the brand new FairCoin Android Wallet will be starting shortly. Every tester will receive the amount of 10 FAIR which he will then send to a given donation address within one week. After that week we sum up the amount of the actual returned coins and calculate the fairness index out of it. Hope it will be 100%. The donation will go to our faithful community designer SomeRelax, which continues to support FairCoin in such a great way. The beta phase will not start before the 16th of October 18:00 GMT. Hi, I just received a complaint from someone who wanted to buy Faircoin at cryptokopen dot eu. The order was placed at 2014-09-08 and he didn't receive any coins yet nor did he received an answer to his request he sent to support@cryptokopen.eu. I know, that the owner of cryptokopen wanted to sell his platform and I don't know if he already did, but everybody should treat this site with extreme caution. As a precaution I removed cryptokopen from the list of exchanges on fair-coin.org, which leaves only Mintpal left  Could you guys please share your experiences here you might had with cryptokopen? regs Thomas |

because it's not a secret anymore who is all involved in this Project this 30 minute presentation of Michel Bauwens could be very interesting for all. I am ... surprised.. and confused. Not really sure what to think about all this but I wish you much success. --- I just downloaded the wallet (windows , binary, 64bit). It looks good. Some small things that you might check/improve: 1. In the OP the wallets to download (the binaries) are somewhat hard to find. I am used to click the first link which speaks about wallet and ended up in the github despiratly looking for binaries. 2. Installers are not everyones taste. Especially not in crypto and when they need admin rights. I don't trust installers. So it might be helpfull to also put up a zip pack for manual install. You can unpack the installer with 7Zip and pick out the files like I did it but not everyone knows that and knows which files to pick. 3. The config file:

I still have both (windows) from my old wallet and have not found the info which one is right on the page where I downloaded the wallet and nighter in the readme.
