Still very good time to mine this coin. When the Android wallet is released it becomes more usable then litecoin for the majority. For iOS users its already more useful then litecoin. |

 Gulden is the only coin next to bitcoin that can be used in the real economy! It's more userfriendly than bitcoin even and has several advantages over bitcoin! So perhaps people should realise that Bitcoin-Gulden is a MUCH much better pair than Bitcoin-Litecoin. Gulden should head towards the top 5 market cap, period! Gulden is probably the most undervalued, underestimated and underappreciated crypto currency of all crypto currencies. Huge long term potential, I mean who wants to hold a bag of coins you can only use to trade? Soon with gulden you can travel the world and spend Gulden everywhere where bitcoin is already accepted, furthermore development is going like a rocket to the moon so fast with Nocks and the most capable devs in crypto! In the longer run it's perhaps even possible Gulden can be used by all fiat merchants as well. If you love crypto you should love gulden, no hype, just pure technological innovation, quality and userfriendly no nonsense application in the real economy.  Only one word: "Agreed"...  Not going to take much more users to push the price above 600 and be stable. The demand is increasing for Gulden. |

March for the new Android wallet. Fantastic!! When is Prime expected to be finished by ? Having a android wallet that can be used at all merchants with Gulden is going be EPIC. Best of luck for the iOS wallet making it onto the Apple Store. Will we be able to test the Android wallet before final release like was done for iOS? |

When funding goes well we are looking at a summer launch and yes this will of course be promoted. We all know instant confirms is a big thing for crypto, but especially for us because of our growing number of merchants.

Gulden team and community is a class act. Most coin devs post months in advance about updates while Gulden doesn't feed the pump groups and cause price speculation in the markets. This is one of the reasons it's my number 1 currency and looking forward to this update later whatever it may be.
Totally agree, although I haven't been following bitcoin or any other currencies for the last few months, I still keep myself updated on Gulden developments and my coins saved in cold storage. Yeah . The only problem is that Gulden doesn't have any trading volume. I mean, it's listed on Bittrex and have only 1 btc volume.Thats pretty ridiculous on an exchange like Bittrex. Unless the crypto cartel get involved and form a pump group it most likely won't change much. The problem is the cartels had no hand in creating this coin and therefore no pump or dump really come for it. The alt coin world is one big farce anyways besides Gulden and maybe 1 or 2 others. Most coins come onto bittrex for a week or two have massive volume and 3 months later they dead. Gulden almost 2 years old. Its perfect that no pump and dump groups are affiliated with Gulden. This is why the price is has been more stable then bitcoin of late. |

Mark my words: BTC will drop a lot more then it did today. BTC has just become to entangled in a web of people with their own agenda's. All progress is stifled. Other coins will take it's place. 2016 might be the year we drop the term 'altcoin'.
Gulden is the only coin I am 100% sure of that is truly community based and no hidden agendas. The team has been transparent from the beginning and you can see the crypto elite don't want this currency to succeed. It doesn't get added to other exchanges and services despite being far more usable then any of the shitty scam coins they add. The same shitty scam coins that cryptsy took bribes from which was eventually their undoing. Gulden will succeed because it's the truth and is already more usable then most alts WITHOUT THE HELP of crypto cartels that dutchyyy pointed out. The alt coin world is worse then the current fiat system, more corrupt but Gulden is the shining light between all these currencies. |

Gulden has one of the youngest communities who don't mine but invest and also being scrypt does not help with multi pools dominating. I have noticed the last few days dedicated hash from community mining and multipools have been better. |

Some great developments for Gulden the last year and i'm sure 2016 will be the year to get more into mainstream adoption!
Some questions about the funding of the Gulden app for Android:
The IOS app is already in place and "ready" but you need funding for the android version, Why? and why 3btc? is someone else building it?
3btc is "allot" of money to fund and im willing to donate if there is more info about where the money goes.

What Gulden needs is a investor/investment like digibyte managed to get, worth 250 000 greenback's. That is 581 bitcoins at todays prices. 3 btc is a drop in the ocean if you look at it that way but the team might need to look at getting big Dutch investors involved to help push this along. I disagree, I think the .zone forum was an environment that encouraged investments within the community. At least for me personally, I bought more when I became enthusiastic about the project and the .zone forum had something to do with it as well...
That wasn't the teams fault, the forum was run be a community member. He should be blamed for closing it down. I don't blame anyone, that's not the point at all, just sharing my personal experience and vision. Devs are doing a great job and I hope the new Guldenforum will become a worthy replacement of the .zone forum. People must do what they are comfortable with. The more options the greater chance they will contribute somewhere. The notion that forums are responsible for the price of a crypto is beyond insanity. |

I want to say sorry to the Gulden team and Rijk. The forums were blamed for Gulden having a low price and the new forums have not made a difference to the price. I think all those people who caused havoc for the team were using the official forums as a excuse to take over the coin, but with new forums the excuses are gone and they all caught with there pants down and exposed. Sorry Rijk for doubting you. Why did you believe those people in the first place ? The price was higher when the zone forums were up purely because bitcoin was in the low $200s. It's doubled in price recently. Most traders are sitting on the sidelines to see what bitcoin is going to do, if it goes to $1000 then dont be shocked to see 150 sat Gulden, if it goes back to $200 then you will see 600 sat prices again. Until Gulden breaks into mainstream the price will be determined by traders. Those individuals blaming the forum changes know this but whatelse could they say negative about gulden. |

Don't pump the price too high. Buy on rumor sell on news will apply. Will this forum be something new and innovative, a crypto first? Don't play around! The iOS wallet allowing payment at all bitcoin merchants will go a long way to convincing people to hold at least some NLG to use in the future. Great move towards easier adoption but I want to see the wallet released officially first.
I also can't imagine we will have to wait long for the next Nocks update on the heels of this as it's been 4 months in the making. Aug 20th was last development update.

A new forum would be a waste of time because you splitting the community. Updating the forum is the only mistake the team has made and this community keeps drilling them for this. Post on here if you don't like the main forum, btctalk is setup so people don't have to use multiple forums to ask questions about a coin.
Why would a new forum, or any forum other than this one and the official one, split up the community? Personally, Guldenzone has been my catalyst to become a Gulden fan. Hence I fail to see that a new forum would/could have a subtracted value, rather than an added one Like many others I only post on here but there does appear to be a problem with community involvement regarding posts on the official forum.
