Two players stole all the midstakes players and brought them to other sites. These sites are much better, so people play there. They won't come back.

I warned of this but SWC didn't think they should do anything against it in their chat.

Can you explain? This is the first I'm hearing about this.

Was there always so low traffic? I am sitting hours by myself at 5 card omaha hi lo ( or even hi ) waiting for players at 25/50 , 50/100 or even 100/200 and nothing is happening.

And if something is happening many players hit and run after 5 hands. Or they always min buyin.

I know most players must be Americans so my timezone is not perfect but still. Playing on this site is a lot of fun but waiting for action every day is not so much.

Most of SwC's traffic is focused predominately into just a few games, 5 Card Omaha H/L not being one of them.

If you want more traffic at your game, type "/action" into the chat box at your table! This is let people in the trollbox know that your table has open seats. (don't spam your requests though)

GamblingSiteFinder.com can now be viewed in "Dark Mode".  Cool

Let me know what you think!

@GamblingSiteFinder why haven’t you added Bitdice to your list?, and in case you have missed it do check it out as I feel that it should be added to your list. Further I tried searching for the dark mode option but I could not locate it, hence I would recommend you to keep it on as the default mode as dark mode is trending in 2020.

Thanks for the feedback, Juggy777! Nobody has contacted me regarding Bitdice.me until now, but I'll look into the site now.

The toggle for dark mode is down in the footer at the moment, but it'll be moved up to the header once I fix a few last kinks.

Has SWC considered implementing a feature where you can toggle between Total Chips and BB when betting and looking at chip stacks.

+1 Please fix Display Chip Amounts at Table in BB, it's been broken forever. It's a major annoyance, I reported this bug a year ago.

Hint: Big blinds are not whole numbers, the program must display pots, stacks, bets in 1/100 fractions of a BB (and allow bets of the same fractions in NL/PL). Also, it should be made clear to the player if they are dealing with chips or blinds at any time. Quick switching between BB/Chips as the user I'm quoting suggested is also useful, many poker clients do that when the player clicks on their displayed chip stack.

This has irked me as well. At cash game tables, you'll see the SB and BB both post "1BB" for blinds. Sometimes when managing multiple tables, I'll be looking for the "Check" button, not realizing that I really only posted 0.5 BB.
105  Economy / Gambling / Re: bustabit – The original crash game on: June 16, 2020, 03:13:17 PM
can someone explain me, how i gain profit from investing?

let's suppose i invest 5BTC

Profit is not guaranteed, but like the saying goes "the house always wins". Short-term investing at Bustabit is almost certainly not the correct play, especially when you factor in the dilution fee (more on this later).

If Bustabit ("the house") wins, a portion of their profits gets distributed proportionately amongst all bankroll investors.

From the site's FAQ:

Quote
bustabit receives 50% of the bankroll's net profits as a commission.

For example, say the bankroll's all-time high profit is 100 BTC, its current profit is 99 BTC and players combined lose a total of 4 BTC in a round. 3 BTC of that is net profit (exceeding the previous all-time high), so bustabit would receive 1.5 BTC and the remaining 2.5 BTC would go to the bankroll.

Source: https://www.bustabit.com/faq/bankroll-commission

It's worth noting that every time someone bets money on the house, 2% of their investment is paid out proportionately to other bankroll investors. So if you invest today, other bankroll investors will receive a tiny cut of your 2% fee, in addition to whatever they earn/lose from players betting on BaB today. If someone bets on the house tomorrow, then you'll earn a small cut of their 2% fee.

From the site's FAQ again:

Quote
To capitalize on the dilution fee system, you will want to bet as much as you can on the house as early as possible. As you maximize your stake, you maximize your claim on future dilution fees.

https://www.bustabit.com/faq/dilution-fee

I talk a little bit more about the site's bankroll investing opportunity in my Bustabit review, but honestly you can find most of the information you are looking for right in the FAQ.

Stake is already labeled at the C- mark so I don't know what else to say, that is a good place to put them in right now. But I have been talking with them and with this sudden return of sports back on and with the other places making big promotions and great stuff, it comes to light that they haven't been up to par with many of the other places just yet. While other places have done multis, extra odds, promotions, giveaways and the likes, they have been just watching.

I am not entirely sure if they will do something good enough in the future, I am sure they will do something but I mean being a bit late does hurt your chances to get customers as well. People see that you put the games back on the menu, but never offer anything, so they go to places that does. However looking at that C-, they are already not getting too much love anyway, so I guess that is enough.

I think a C- is fair for the time being. Despite their success in the online casino industry, the Stake.com sportsbook is relatively new. The events that have unfolded so far in 2020 certainly don't help their case, but it'll be interesting to see how Stake.com's sportsbook fares once all these leagues start up again. My personal prediction is that we'll see their grade increase by the end of Q4 2020.

Full disclosure, I have Stake ranked as my #4 Best Online Casino (out of 65), #3 Best Dice Site (out of 13), and #2 Best Crash Gambling Site (out of 4). I don't have them ranked at all [yet] in my Best Online Sportsbook category (out of 28).

Can we get a leaderboard for biggest winners and losers from the past day/week/month? And maybe a tab showcasing the largest individual bets from the past day/week/month as well?

The current leaderboard is littered with either inactive or deleted accounts. I take a look at it from time to time and can never tell if there are any new names on the lists.

It'd be great to see some "fresh" leaderboards!

111  Economy / Gambling / Re: Betonline Review : Find a Quick Way to Betonline Sportsbook on: April 18, 2020, 12:45:38 AM
I find it shocking that many of you have never heard of BetOnline. It's one of the oldest online sportsbooks in the world and today is the flagship brand of the second largest US-friendly online poker network.

BetOnline.com is their old URL; the site switched to BetOnline.ag in April of 2012.

The site did have an ugly, controversial live dealer blackjack scandal caught on tape back in February of 2017, and ultimately responded by changing to a new live dealer gambing firm.

BetOnline.ag is not related to Betcoin.ag and should not be grouped into the same category as the latter. Betcoin.ag has numerous, legitimate complaints filed against them, despite being nowhere near as popular a site as BetOnline.ag.

BetOnline.ag accepts players from all across the United States (excluding NJ) and most countries around the world.

I'm not sure why people are saying that the site doesn't accept crypto either because BetOnline was also one of the first fiat online gambling sites to integrate and encourage Bitcoin banking on their site. The site now accepts Bitcoin, Ethereum, Ripple, Litecoin, Dash, and maybe a few others.

I'm not saying BetOnline is the greatest online gambling site out there, but I will say it's very, very far from being the worst. Depending on where you live in the United States, it may even be your best option.

Your site is very simple and user friendly, you have a huge scoop also which is good that you have categorize them. I will bookmark your website for future reference as I am recently looking for a trusted gambling site where I can bet without any worries and withdraw without any delays.

I am also surpise that the current site that I use to gamble came to the last of your list, I will try to shift to your top 1 list and I am hoping that I can experience a better gamble experience to them. And I hope that you will remain fair to your rankings even if other site will try to pay you just to have a better rank in your website.

Thank you for the kind words Smiley I'm glad you like the site!

Hi everyone!

I may not have been active in this thread lately, but I promise I have been working hard behind the scenes.

I've received about a dozen site requests in the past week alone, and ultimately decided to decline each one.

As for some good news, I just hit publish on a review of MintDice!

Keep the feedback, suggestions, and site recommendations coming! I read every single one.

I've been doing some more digging on the idea of increasing the bad beat jackpot minimum qualifying hand requirement (currently AAATT).

Here are SwC Poker's most recent BBJ hits:

  • April 7th, 2020 -- Royal Flush vs AAAKK
  • April 1st, 2020 -- KKKK vs 9999
  • April 1st, 2020 -- KKKK vs AAAKK
  • March 30th, 2020 -- KK vs QQ on AAAQT board
  • March 25th, 2020 -- AQ v AJ on AAQJK board
  • March 14th, 2020 -- AA vs KK on KKA75 board
  • January 14th, 2020 -- JJ vs TT on AAA84 board
  • January 11th, 2020 -- KK vs QQ on AAA85 board

Just for reference, here are the most recent BBJ hits at a competing online poker room with much larger playerpool (that shall remain nameless) that uses 2222 as the minimum qualifying hand.

  • April 12th, 2020
  • April 3rd, 2020
  • April 2nd, 2020
  • March 27th, 2020
  • March 23rd, 2020
  • March 22nd, 2020
  • March 5th, 2020
  • February 24th, 2020
  • February 24th, 2020

Would be interested to hear your thoughts on the BBJ after reading this.

The Bad Beat Jackpot was hit on SwC for the fifth time in the past two weeks, this time for 285k chips! Congratulations to the winners!

Can you call it a "jackpot" if it gets hit every three days? I've said it before and I'll say it again now, I think 2222 should be the minimum qualifying hand at the very least.

That aside, the site looks great! Been logging in every day during this quarantine. Smiley

Thanks for the update. I'm reading this thread for the first time now, but it appears that BetOnline handled this payout within their stated timeframe. Next time read through the T&C! Congrats on the win  Smiley
117  Economy / Gambling / Re: bustabit – The original crash game on: April 01, 2020, 05:41:30 PM
It's in the nature of casinos that some players will lose and some will win. Junya5805 won more than 100 BTC just this month, for example. You can see more examples of players that have won at bustabit on the leaderboard at https://www.bustabit.com/leaderboard.

Speaking of leaderboards, I think it'd be helpful if Bustabit added a "Last Played" tab to the leaderboard. This way users can see which big winners/losers are still active on the site.

Site looks great, guys! Definitely going to hop into the Big BTC Grin this time around.

I have two very, very minor suggestions though:

1) Tournaments that are starting within the next hour should say "In X Minutes" under the Start tab, rather than their actual start time. Showing the countdown might create a sense of urgency and get a few more people to join.

2) I'd like to be able to see my discards in OFC/p.

Again, love what you're doing with the site!

Stay safe everyone  Smiley

BAD BEAT JACKPOT HIT FOR THE 2ND TIME THIS WEEK!
...I still think you should consider increasing the lowest qualifying hand to at least 2222.
