Lets get this party started!

And please leave sexcoin out of this. That's how I wanna pay for my lap dances some day
103  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Operation Shitcoin Cleanout and Clean Up Has Begun- Join the Revolution on: March 21, 2014, 10:25:23 PM
What we need is a good multipool to gang up and bang these coins till they are sore.
I'll point all my rigs at it and we will flood the exchanges and sell these loser coins down to 1 litoshi or 1 doge even...
104  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Operation Shitcoin Cleanout and Clean Up Has Begun- Join the Revolution on: March 21, 2014, 10:20:51 PM
Woohoo, lets get this cleanup started

105  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: GridSeed 5-chip USB miner voltage mod on: March 21, 2014, 10:15:33 PM
What are y'all using the gridseeds for anyways? Multipools?
106  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: GridSeed 5-chip USB miner voltage mod on: March 21, 2014, 06:49:02 PM
I'm chillin and seeing what others do in the long run with these volt mods. The only thing I'm doing is disconnecting the fans but I'm running in scrypt only so they are running just fine.

I'm with ya Wolfey.

Don't wait too long though; else the gridseeds will already become obsolete when the next model (1M+) comes out... I'd say in 3 months
107  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: GridSeed 5-chip USB miner voltage mod on: March 21, 2014, 06:41:12 PM
I am so happy to get rid of the controllers.  I had digital timers turning the power off every 2 hours for 1 minute to reset all the miners.  CGminer has been flawless so far.  Time to start soldering.

I'm starting to like CGminer more and more Wink
I'm holding off on the over-volt / over-current mods for a while yet to see what happens to the ones who do.
Getting positive results on the profit end is a good thing but, is it temporary or is it permanent? Will the uP's take it indefinitely or will they fail prematurely at some point? Only time will tell.
Wolfey2014

Oh cmon stop being so melodramatic. I say lets UP the voltage more and see what happens

108  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: what is the unknown pool that found 20 blocks per day? on: March 21, 2014, 12:38:36 AM
"Unknown" means all of the generations addresses that could not be identified.  It is not just one entity but all entities that could not be identified such as all solo miners, for one example.

Or all the manufacturers who take preorders and now running those machines while promising you delivery in June when the difficulty is nice and high and those asics are obsolete, so you can preorder their next batches/versions again.

Shh, not so loud...

109  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptorush.in hacked? oooooooooooomg on: March 20, 2014, 08:04:53 PM
No no, not you, not you cryptorush. Anyone but cryptorush. Sad. Sad. Sad day in crypto land.

110  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Setup & Troubleshoot] Bitmain AntMiner S1 180GH/S miner on: March 18, 2014, 09:13:54 PM
This is a newbie question. I'm sure the experts here know this at the top of their head.

I have two Antminer S1s and both an AX1200 and an RM1000 at my disposal (from earlier desktop builds). The Antminers are overclocked to 393 clock.

1. Which power supply should I go with?

2. Since AX1200 has higher efficiency, does this mean I actually use less watts at the wall? Trying to balance out the circuit. I also run a desktop pc on the same circuit with an HX850 (running an OC-ed 290x and 4770k processor). The circuit is 110V/15A.

3. Can the circuit take a third ant?

Update:
I added two OC-ed ants on AX1200 and one on RM1000. To test I also have my pc running with the 290x OC-ed and mining LTC. No circuits tripped yet ... I'l probably move the RM1000 to a different circuit once I get either an ethernet cable laid out or wireless setup.
111  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: Where are you mining? on: March 18, 2014, 08:47:10 PM
Guys, leave all pools and come to Ghash.io. No fees, quick PPLNS. This is the only way we can DEFEAT the new "unknown" pool showing up run by crooks, probably some manufacturers using the preordered asics to fist mine themselves before they deliver at higher difficulty in Spring.

Only ghash.io has any chance of defeating them and unlike these unknown anonymous pools who can do 51% attacks, ghash is non-malicious and public, a good BTC citizen and will never attempt such a thing
112  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What exactly makes a 'good' Altcoin? on: March 18, 2014, 08:31:51 PM
Altcoins are dying left and right ... in case you didn't notice already

113  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: Which Pool ??? on: March 18, 2014, 07:37:22 PM
ghash.io is the way to go !

I hope you're kidding. ghash.io has a dangerous amount of network share right now. It is the worst pool you could choose to mine on at the moment.

Ignore the mumbo jumbo religious talk about network sanctity and 51% share and what not. Let Gavin worry about that stuff. You are here to get ROI first, right? ... Before your ASIC goes obsolete with the difficulty jumps. So Ghash.io is the way to go. One of every 3 blocks goes to them plus a short PPLNS means you ramp up quickly and start making money. Add a little on Eligius and volla you get half the blocks.... Best way to make $$$ ... and best of all they don't rip you off like the others with fees. I'd donate a little to Eligius though.

I'm done with this pool and its "consistently" bad luck. Had always pointed a few ants here and previously PPS used to compensate for the "7 years of bad luck" spells ... Ghash.io is now my goto pool with eligius as a backup. Next difficulty will be up another 15-20% and can't for few more months for this to turn around.

Approximate Pool Luck* (24H / 3D / 1W / 2W / 1M): 62.048% / 73.438% / 81.512% / 91.078% / 96.360%

Good luck to you all

Haven't seen any payouts. Is Namecoin merge mining still happening? If not, can you please remove it from the options page. confusing as hell.

Stats have been down for like 48 hours, now the site is completely down. That's just unnaceptable for one of the largest pools, or really any site at all. I just am skeptical that this is all being used as a front for pool operators absconding with coins that should have gone to the miners. Admittedly I have a hard time trusting Christians or "altruists".

I'm moving my miners off Eligius. May come back if things improve but this is ridiculous.

Some of you really need to get a grasp on what's going on.

The servers for the pool itself have been solidly operating for ...months?  Someone correct me if I'm wrong here.  I think there was a very small pool outage for a few minutes time like maybe 4 or 5 months ago.  Other than that, the pool itself has been utterly solid.  Shares are being accepted and work is flowing as it should to the miners.

The server for the front end stats has had some issues from time to time.  I, for one, care not.  Are there miners out there that only monitor their hardware via pool statistics?  That seems backasswards to me.

There have also been a few small delays in payouts.  I read one post here recently that suggested the delay was months?  Maybe I misread it.

Uh.....no.  The delay has been - AT MOST - a few days time.

If that's putting anyone here in a bind.... ouch.  Just ouch.  Anyone in that situation, post an address.  I have some gratis coupons to fast food joints I'll mail you and some boxes of stuff from our recent Subscribe and Save order, because you're probably near homeless and starving?

Oh look at Mr Bling Bling here with deep pockets.

Oh nice Wolong's team is back. Was wondering where they all went. I'm in. They gonna pump to the moon. Just put a post-it on my monitor with "REMEMBER TO PULL OUT" in big red font
119  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]Faircoin - The First Fairly Distributed COIN -Vote for us on exchanges! on: March 14, 2014, 02:42:19 PM
We need Wolong to pump this coin or we are all lost  Roll Eyes

Seriously? Can I remind you what wolong did with his last venture???

Wolong is mighty and Wolong is strong!

As long as we show Wolong the respect he deserves, he'll honor it. He's Chinese after all and China has a rich and proud heritage of honoring respect with reciprocal respect. What Panda devs did wrong was: they tried to double cross and screw Wolong by frontrunning him and dumping their coins in market in violation of their tacit agreement with Wolong that they were to hold them.

Look what happened to DOGE and PANDA prices when Wolong is no longer there!
120  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: MORE Conspiracy theories on: March 14, 2014, 02:39:22 PM
I was here at launch
1. received 1million coins soon as I downloaded wallet
2. I had to take my code and register it
3. after doing that the coins disappeared

After distributing 1000 FREE coins to each of 35K "lucky" people, the incompetent amateurs known as "DEV" declared their wallet "corrupt" and left 15K people holding the bag. An empty bag they brought to the launch party hoping to fill it with free "fair"coins.

The above is the only thing true in this post. Everything else below is made-up, fabricated and imagined: do not believe any of it.

As I sat at my computer, staring at my QQ chat window, displaying the webcam video of my business contact in SZ (her name is Lilly), she took a long puff of her cannabis joint, adjusted her tinfoil hat, pushed away a strand of her long thick black hair, and started to talk in her Chinese-accented English.

"So...
I have spent the day gathering intel.
I went back and read the whole thread from the beginning, all 126 pages.
I did some research on the internet and talked to Chinese friends who live and work in Spain and Holland.
It looks like the "DEV" team is a group of math geniuses, headed by someone by the name of Eelco Fortuijn.
About 11 years ago, Eelco founded a non-profit organization called "Fair"food International.

"Fair"food is an international non-profit organisation. Our mission is to improve the socio-economic conditions of vulnerable people in the global food system and the sustainable use of natural resources.

From securing "fair"food to "vulnerable people in the global food system" came the idea of distributing "fair"coins to vulnerable bitcoin-less people in the global cryptocurrency system

But Eelco also wanted to get rich... filthy rich.

He has been following bitcoin and cryptocurrency for years and finally, in January 2014, when his master plan was ready, he went to Privacy Protection Service INC (based in Ausralia) to register the web site fair-coin.info as an anonymous entity. After all, we don't anyone to know his real identity.

He announced to the world 50 Million "Fair"coins would be distributed "fairly" to 50K people. Each would have a fair chance of getting 1000 Free coins.

Before the public launch, Eelco spent some time creating tens of private wallets. He programmed his "Fair"coin system to automatically deposit 1 Million coins upon the creation of a new wallet. This automatic deposit would have to be stopped AFTER tens of private wallets would have been created - and belonged - to him, his friends, relatives, and team members; and immediately BEFORE the launch to the public.
Alas, we now know that at least one guy - who came forward and announced it  to the whole world - received the automatic deposit upon the creation of his wallet. This was not supposed to happen.

Eelco's master plan was under way and people - around the world - started to download the Faircoin-QT wallet. But Eelco had anticipated the one major obstacle to him getting VERY wealthy.
HOW TO CREATE DEMAND FOR THE WORTHLESS COIN, SO THAT - WHEN IT HITS THE EXCHANGES - PEOPLE WILL JUMP FEVERISHLY ON IT TRYING TO BUY IT, and drive its price up?

Ahh... simple, we'll stop distribution at the 35K mark (Oops, our wallet got corrupted), and leave 15K people wanting. They will be so wanting of the free worthless coin that they would be willing to pay good money for it as soon as the original 35K people start selling. We - Million Coin wallet holders - we just sit back and watch it all unfold, as the controversy and the demand drives the price up. At the opportune moment - maybe after one or two years - we cash-in on our wealth.

Bunch of incompetent amateurs my ass... they - or rather he - is a master of deception."

As Lilly took one last puff of her joint, I continued to stare - with a stunned look - at her beautiful face.
"You've just made all that up, didn't you?" said I.
"Take it or leave it, you don't have to believe me, do your own research. It's getting late, I will go sleep." Said she.
And - like she does every day - she got up -purposely showing me a glimpse of her pink panties - and turned off her webcam.

Lilly's webcam info? Pics or it never happened!!!
