Disagree...

I can even get Merits without starting a topic LoL.
Here have some:
Free Merits

What is it with the merit threads recently - feels like 2018 all over again. I thought everyone knows by now that the best way to earn merits is to be in the cycling club.
Not all people can be a member of the club, it depends on CH's analysis. It really depends also with the approval of the Fox.

Is my topic intent not that obvious that I need to manually state that it's purely sarcasm?
102  Other / Meta / How to earn merit in 6 EASY steps! (2019-2020 Edition) on: January 24, 2020, 03:01:46 AM
1. Create a topic
2. Use a really compelling and heavily encouraging title, like so:

3. Describe how you've been a pleb in the past and how "it's been a long journey", and how you've realized that the only way to earn merit is to make good posts
4. Insert some statement that can encourage the newbies
5. ? ? ?
6. Profit!
103  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Conquering the impossible on: January 24, 2020, 02:52:27 AM
Posts like this have seriously just became merit bait now.
104  Economy / Speculation / Re: What are the real reasons of recent BTC rally? on: January 16, 2020, 04:40:19 PM
Because supply and demand. And stop asking about what's going to happen with it's price because obviously no one knows.
105  Economy / Reputation / Re: Overview of recent username changes in Bitcointalk on: January 14, 2020, 07:25:02 AM
I have removed the list I had posted earlier in the thread. I appreciate the privacy concerns and I apologize for underestimating them when I posted that.
Thanks for doing the right thing.

Hm. This is probably a good time to follow suit? @Heisenberg_Hunter?
106  Economy / Reputation / Re: Overview of recent username changes in Bitcointalk on: January 12, 2020, 06:01:12 PM
Seriously. Some of these name changers might have done some bad opsec in the past hence why they need to change their username, but why shine the spotlight on them? It completely defeats the purpose. While it's still going to be really possible to affiliate them to their old usernames through their past posts, still. Shining the spotlight on them just makes it a lot easier for doxxing.

As long as they didn't do anything wrong in the past, I don't have anything against their decisions. I mean, privacy is one of the things us bitcoiners are fighting for right? Then what the fuck is this? Bullshit is what this is.

108  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I enjoy posting on bitcointalk on: December 22, 2019, 01:48:07 PM
It's not about earning here. Earning is just a by product and one should not consider it as the main source.
Some people here think otherwise. Apparently, if you're in a signature campaign, you're only posting for the money.
109  Other / Meta / Re: Prejudice against signature campaigns on: December 22, 2019, 09:48:25 AM
My guess is that most of the people who are so hard against signature campaigns are mostly financially secure people in wealthy countries. They're so cocky that they're forgetting that there are people in poor countries that are in need of extra income, but at the same time actually passionate about bitcoin. I don't see a single problem in earning sats by simply talking to people. Yes, there are spammers, but the problem is mostly on some of the campaign managers. If they were stricter, there would be less spammers.
110  Other / Meta / Re: Be polite on: December 10, 2019, 01:43:59 PM
Solution: Grow some balls, or leave the internet.

Just another desperate Merit beggar trying to prey on the well known generosity of Meta entrenched Merit sources.

Sorry? Did I hurt your vagina? It's funny how you're attacking me even though you're the one that's in a signature campaign.

I think he was referring to OP and not you.

Oh crap. Apologies to LFC_Bitcoin. Fucking LOL.

112  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What can be done to stop loss sending to wrong bitcoin address on: December 10, 2019, 09:35:58 AM
Seriously. If people simply just double-checked the receiving address every time they make a transaction, we wouldn't have this problem.
113  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: don't screw with the market with fake stuff anymore: im contacting attoneys now on: December 06, 2019, 01:37:43 PM
I just bought bitcoin a few days ago that's why the price went up my good sir, please don't tell my mother.  Cry
114  Other / Meta / Re: How to earn merit in 4 EASY steps! on: November 26, 2019, 04:05:31 AM
Dont worry about my post count because i dont need +1 post count , sounds like for me maybe an Alt Account of somebody then !

Sorry that i would be helpful and tryd to help  !!!!!!  Realy Sorry

In this case i guess i hit the Ignore button again .

I like earning merit as it pisses off cryptohunter/TOAA.

Its like a sport to some, means very little to us who earn them easily, but pisses off those who cant earn it themselves.
This actually kinda convinced me to try hard and earn merits..
115  Other / Meta / Re: How to earn merit in 4 EASY steps! on: November 25, 2019, 03:38:34 AM
No! This is how it should be:
  • 1. Create a super sarcastic topic.
  • 2. Huh
  • 3. Profit.
Nah, don't give a single crap about me earning merits.

Fucking true with that art contest thread though. It's just a logo-generator spam fest.

Do you think the topic belongs to Meta board. If you still think your topic is helpful, you should move it to Beginners & Help.
We're talking about merits. It sure as hell fits better here on the Meta section.
116  Other / Meta / Re: How to earn merit in 4 EASY steps! on: November 25, 2019, 03:33:58 AM
Lafu, you've completely missed the point here.

Well I guess at least you got your +1 post count so congratulations.
117  Other / Meta / How to earn merit in 4 EASY steps! on: November 25, 2019, 03:09:16 AM
1. Create a topic reporting one super obvious phishing site
2. Wait for the merits to rake in
3. ? ? ?
4. Profit!

Seriously though. I get it, newbies need this information. But we don't need a separate thread for every new phishing site. Just create one sticky thread on the Beginners & Help section concerning phishing sites so we can already be done with it.
118  Economy / Reputation / Re: Quickseller's off topic ramblings from Chipmixer thread on: November 22, 2019, 04:58:59 AM
Seriously though. If you don't want certain information to be publicly available, then don't use that service in the first place. It's not like suchmoon and the others are breaching Bitcointalk's database to obtain these data.

The information is publicly available to start with, and statistics are just being provided. This complaint makes zero sense.
119  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Im done with this shit on: November 21, 2019, 05:14:07 PM
"You just bought it" shutup you dont know anything

"you dont know anything" -says the dude who's crying about bitcoin's price
120  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BItcoin: The path to $10,000,000 ten million dollars per coin on: November 20, 2019, 01:20:11 PM
They have been saying the same thing for years now.

Bitcoin bubble burst at 20K, the ride is all downhill from there.

Little secret , no one really needs bitcoin.
Which should be apparent from the way the price keep dropping.
It is a slow painful death, but it is still a death.

Tell me. Besides promoting your shitty signature, why are you even wasting your time here in a Bitcoin forum? Knowing that you're unable to think rationally in the first place. You're a worse bitcoin critic than Nouriel Roubini.
