101  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: NAV Network Sync problems on: May 24, 2016, 09:27:53 AM
Hi guys, I'm back here because I've noticed abt the imminent swap to NAV 2.0 next 31/05.
In order to transfer the coins on Bittrex I updated my wallet to v3.3.0.0-UT-ZAH using the installer.
During setup it asked me to download the entire chain... I did it.
Then opening the wallet seems all my coins are there but I have problem to sync with the network.
Only one connection seems to be active and my sync progress is locked and it seems it doesn't want to go on.
Now my question is: How can I transfer my coins on Bittrex if I cannot complete the sync with the network?
Maybe there are some more nodes I can add in the config file?
Thank you very much.

Here you go

addnode=navsupernode1.no-ip.biz
addnode=navsupernode2.no-ip.biz
addnode=navsupernode3.no-ip.biz
addnode=navsupernode4.no-ip.biz
addnode=navsupernode5.no-ip.biz
addnode=185.61.148.209
addnode=95.183.50.26
addnode=95.183.50.58
addnode=95.183.50.54
addnode=5.230.142.254

Ok, now I have 9-10 active connections but the strange thing is the sync is going back  Shocked
Blocks remaining to synch are increasing!  Huh
I think something is wrong with the downloaded chain or with the chain retained by the nodes from whom I'm trying to download the rest of the blocks.

104  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Global Denomination (GDN) X11 + DigiShield + Social Network + More on: June 26, 2014, 08:01:38 PM
From my personal experience, GDN has remained stable and active more so then other coin communities I have worked with in the past.

Often, I see a new cryptocoin start up and it appears very profitable at first. This is simple supply and demand forces, because there are very few coins available in the market, and so there are more buyers than sellers in the beginning. This causes the price to spike very early on. Then after the surge in price, miners start hitting it very hard as it becomes easy to mine and sell in the same day and turn a good profit. As this continues to happen, more and more coins enter the market. Eventually there are so many more miners and sellers that the price can longer be supported and it falls until it reaches a maintainable baseline. What happens after the coin has hit its stable baseline, is what determines the fate of most cryptocoins.

At this point, most crap coins would experience a dev leaving or lack of continued support and communication. This is because the dev doesn't see enough money for himself/herself anymore. However, unlike like these crap coins, the GDN dev's are still here. They are communicating, supporting, and actively developing GDN at a rate they can continue at in the long run. That is why I choose to invest my money into Global Denomination.

Just my two cents.  Grin

Well said... i abs agree with u... Beyond the fact the devs r not implementing new functions/features/anonimity/etc so fast in this coin, what u said is exactly the reason i'm still mining GDN...
Just two GPUs Grin

After 300, next buy order only at 800. Clearly someone is playing with this market. Sure those 800 and 900 buys are just fake ones. Not getting into this for sure until it settles.

Yes, also noticed this big gap... I don't know what they are trying to do... but it seems nobody is taking the bait till now...

114  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: X13 [ANN] *SUMMERCOIN 2.0* [POW/POS] [NAVAJO ANONYMOUS TECHNOLOGY][IN 14 DAYS] on: June 14, 2014, 05:47:47 PM
Guys, I personally don't think that changing a name is a good idea. We already gained attention with SUM2 and quite many people are following this coin.
There's no point in changing everything over and over again, most people don't like it.
SummerCoinV2 is good as it is, we have preparing new coin process behind now and we should focus on more challening and important things, such as Navajo Technology, multipools etc. We are going forward, not moving back. Name is just a name. SUM2 is a good name enough.
Anyway I'm still opened for community's suggestions Wink
I agree, I have deleted my previous comment - I just sent a reply without knowing that all the talk was about name change. WE DO NOT NEED NAME CHANGE, BUT AGGRESSIVE MARKETING AND MASTER NODES.

Yes, we need aggressive marketing... and we need it right now 'cause right now SUM2 is rolling on the runway... we need the boost power to take-off!

Yep, especially multipool, I can't understand why nobody opened mulpool yet, so many people who want's to mine here. I would be great profit for the owner.

Me too... but i didn't ustand if the PoW stage is over or not...
I checked the only one mpool (COINKING) and it seems doesn't support payout in SUM2 currency...

1) As far as i know we need to collect donations from miners and investors to have the money to pay the dev and all the efforts to swap to bee2... Now it would be stupid to destroy these exceding bees....
2) I have the idea the efforts to promote/publicize a coin are never enough... Founds are precious during a start-up and the initial phase... and BeeCoin is not so famous...
3) If u think that destoring the coins and stay sitted waiting the coin will take off will bring us to the same end of Bee v1.
Let us use all these coins to pump the coin, stimulating the community, attract new investors, collect new ppl here and to promote/pubblicize the coin everywhere (Remember Ppl don't do anything for nothing... My granny said that even the dog doesn't move the tail for nothing!
I'm for A absolutely!
How is for C should show me his efforts to promote BeeCoin for free...

cool  so far

a= 2
c= 1

try to pm all other beecoin holders and get them voting in the next couple of days.

Of course though soopy will be paid we can not destroy his coins... most devs have 2% of entire minting so at least around 750M for Soopy for fixing it all, doing the block tax and swapping it all over? seems reasonable? his coins can not be destroyed of course. The community can decide, but i just put that figure as a reasonable amount for continued support and don't forget soopy is working on anon features for beecoin too.

Of Course i know Soopy will have and is having his part but Soopy is not enough... He cannot do evthing...
I just don't want to destroy the coins now and then to collect donations tomorrow because the coin is dying...
We have this coins let us use them for the gorwing of the coin...
Just this...

Are you interested in becoming the community manager ? or one of the community managers? it would be a paid position of course?

Sure i'd do it... but i don't know what i can give beside a bit of my time...
I'm not a dev, i'm not competent in graphic or marketing... i'm just an IT technician in real life and a miner here...  Undecided

SAVE H5C!!!! ONE OF THE FIRST X11! COMMUNITY SHIELDS UP!

Don' let that happen! Just write to the exchange mails. They gave the adress to contact them if we want the coin not to be delisted! It's a good Coin at the X11 time is coming.

I trade on bitterex with H5C all the time...

There is a adres: support@bittrex.com

And if you don't have time to write an e-mail then:

Hi!

As a active user of your exchange and the altcoins community i would like to ask you not to delist H5C from you exchange. Thank you for taking us under consideration!

It seems they already wrote to them but also seems that Bittrex is interested just in the initial high volume exchange typical of the pump and dump of the new coins...
So they add and delist lot of coins very fast...
For a new coin it's good in the beginnig but it would be better to enter in other exchanges before to be delisted in Bittrex...
