I've been asked several times on my software to manage risks.

This is what I mostly use currently:

1) https://www.bitinsure.com/

It is an automated risk monitor. I set the limits like max drawdown and other options at several Bitmex accounts and Bitinsure sends a notification since the limit is reached. This way I can have a rest and get notified when sth goes wrong. Also, it provides automated statistics reporting. This thing is useful for trades analysis

2) https://3commas.io/
I'm not a fan of trading bots but these I'd recommend. However, always track the performance and comply with risks (app above)

Your software to improve trading?

The price broke the trend after bearish flag formation. Currently, it is moving in a downwards channel and if there is no upwards impulse, it will decrease to the lower border of the channel.

Bitcoin futures, 1H
Beautifully formed falling wedge
Waiting for a downward Impulse

This played out perfectly. Falling wedge broke to the downside as usual. Soon after you posted it. Bitcoin dropped from 10270 to 10130 which is about the height of the wedge. With high leverage one was able to make some profit.
Such posts BEFORE things happen are much appreciated!

I noticed this wedge in the hourly chart (Bitstamp) with higher lows on the RSI. Any thoughts on that?

Hmm. See a similar scenario Smiley
I'd bet for an impulse

Kudos on this thread mate.

Are you noting that we could be reaching exhaustion and headed for a downward correction? RSI, Money Flow Index, resistance levels, and volume are all pointing to a pullback. Do you have any price targets if a pullback does indeed occur?

Yeah, I did notice this. Well, the pullpacks in such patterns are usually repeating the height of the pattern beginning. So what exactly happened in this one.

The awaited impulse just came! TA works.
P.S. What I see here is lots of stop-losses that worked in an hour😶

Even though BTC price faced a strong resistance of $10000, it is still in a bullish range and has already 3 points proving upwards trend along with the MAs signal.

While everyone was talking about Tesla, BTC continued moving according to logic scenarios. Opened long at confirmation candle at the support and currently closed a half. The $10,000 level is a point either for reversal trend or for a breakout

Either up or down  Smiley

Yes. We are at the consolidation phase now.

Here is a bigger timeframe view.

The price still moves in accordance with srong levels and upwards channel. $9165 level may be crucial and identify the further price impulse after the consolidation phase with the target prices of $10000 and $8200

Time for January results🤩

The year started in a right way. Traded mostly BTC and ETH futures, sometimes BNB. Played with scalping.
6 BTC in a month is a good start for the 2020 earning journey!

Most people are afraid to sacrifice jobs to do full time trading, because they don't want to lose both and are very risky.
and indeed if you really want to become a profitable trader, you must have full time in trading without involving work and other thoughts besides focusing on trading and to produce maximum results.

Tend to agree.. However, depending on various factors, you can be a profitable trader doing it part-time (if you are a true professional and have huge capital or at least manage)
But in this case, you may leave the job due to lack of necessity (if you are not a fan of it)
If you have a family you would be really dumb to give up the safety and start whatever occupation that you are not profitable at. Be it trading, starting a company or going instagram influencer lol. You need to be set with your finances and profitable already to take this step. Until then, you can just practice on the side and do it hobby/part-time until your hourly is better than your regular job.

Yes. Anyway, it's better to have an 'emergency exit', even when you are a really professional trader and do not have family. To get a source of income immediately in case of failure
