He can also take a share in a masternode, there are some services like that around...
And pretty soon one to rule them ALL !! (well, pretty soon is a tremendous overstatement, but phase 1 is complete. The concept) Good luck ! I would love a platform working like a pool, with automatic payments to each shareholder. If you do that I'm in !!!

Even if you are just 1 DRK donate
So if I only have 1 DRK to my name, I should donate to you when you have 130 DRK, and the reason for the donation is because you 'want a masternode' = Seems legit! you dont accept 0.1 or 0.01 ? This is an example and demonstrate teamwork. Whatever you want , donate 0.0001 or 1 or 10 Ok, ok, I will donate. But it's a bit complicated, my wallet is in Nigeria and I need just a few DRK from you first to pay my cousin to go get them. Please PM me and we can get the ball rolling? (Only joking...but seriously why you not offer to help Darkcoin if you value so much? If I had no drk i would at least offer to help. Like right now it's Troll Patrol time and you are just asking for donations...) He can also take a share in a masternode, there are some services like that around...

Sad to see a hero member letting his emotions get the best of him and to sink to that low level of trolling/spamming.
Although the amount of misfortune one can take before exhibiting notable symptoms is highly individual, I hope you haven't lost everything while chasing unsuccessful altcoins. In anticipation of the forthcoming crypto revolution, you're still likely better off than 80% of the world's population, so cheer up, and try to think positive thoughts.
He had two choices : list the advantages of Monero over DASH/Darkcoin or fud/troll DASH/Darkcoin, seems that the latter is easier to do.

@RenegadeMan
Thank you but I seriously doubt some of these people can see past the next few hours - let alone a few months to years
No need to be condescending. In addition to codes for most active national currencies ISO 4217 provides codes for "supranational" currencies, procedural purposes, and several things which are "similar to" currencies http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ISO_4217#X_currencieshttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ISO_4217#Active_codesThe "X" is not a rule supranational currencies can use it or not. The Euro is a supranational currency and yet its code is EUR, at the same time the East Caribbean dollar code is XCD.

I'm good with something simple like DSH. Xcoin and Darkcoin were and Dash is, let's go forward... lol - this IS moving forward to mainstream international usage as a currency We are not a payment service We are not a bank We are a currency - yet to be determined by law DSH will keep us limited and more confined to the land of Crypto We need to think BIG and We need to think Internatioanal XDD:DASH IMO Cling to the old names is not moving forward. When someone asks what is the meaning of XDD ? And why is there "Dark" in it ?

I'd be happy with that powering the NFC on my phone. IMO Too much going on visually.

I'd rather have the coin itself carry on its past in the logo instead of denying it and have critics and FUDsturds come crawling from their holes flinging wild accusations like "attemped whitewash! It was a drug currency once, lol!" Besides: How many people do speak morse these days? 0.01% would notice the meaning.
People will notice, there are plenty morse decoder on internet. I can already read the "Look at this they are showing the true purpose of the coin" "Why the word "dark" is hidden in the logo ?" etc. I chose the coin for its dev/tech, possibilities not its name and I don't need the word "dark" hiding somewhere to remember that it was once named "Darkcoin".

Let's combine some interesting thoughts here:Someone mentioned morse code is outdated technology ("representing the past") Someone else said the morse code should spell "money" because it has more dashes. I say: Yes GhostPlayer! Let the morse code actually say "DARK" _.. ._ ._. _._ which reflects the past of Dash with a past technology. Most people won't think about the morse code anyway and accept it as a designer gimmick when in reality it's an "inside joke" or a nod to the currency's beginnings. Oh and also it has way more dashes than "dash" Here's my lame MS Paint Edit (Make the text italic to account for the longer "K" at the end and boom!): The goal of the rebranding is to remove the reference to the word "DARK" because it can be misinterpreted by some people/organizations, IMO it would beat that purpose to put dark again in the logo even if it's morse code. what does the S look like when it is a '$' symbol? The symbol of a currency inside an other currency.

More FUD...post something to back up your claim, why don't you? Don't expect facts from that guy, he will answer (for hours) with anything but that. If you analyze the data, it's clear 90% of the masternodes belong to the same person. Such a great coin you have here Show me your analysis then. Simple no ?

At this point we could have approached the community with what we were doing and asked the community to fund it, but this would have created a good deal of uncertainty in the market. Instead, I funded the purchase of Dashcoin out of my own pocket, which cost a substantial amount of money.
You are so generous Eduffield. After more than 2 millions DRK mined in few days, we need to thank you very much for such a generosity. I never get the problem of mining 2m coin at the beginning... You just should be there, stop acting like a child now... Its absolutely the same as mining milions of bitcoin at beginning, you just should be there, but you aren't... Facts are: - the main dev launched darkcoin without windows and mac wallet (only linux) - the main dev launched darkcoin without any pools available - the main dev launched darkcoin without any instructions to even mine drk on linux Source: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=421615.0Those who were here at the beginning have not been able to mine darkcoin. It's a fair launch in your opinion? What ?? He launched the coin with only a linux wallet ? You talking about those OS available to anyone in the world for free ?

Blame Vertoe for selling part/all of her/his/its stash.
No, i blame the very very poor communication both internal (dev team) and external (towards community) . Agree. Random members of the community aside, for core devs and other essential members of the team to have not been consulted is ludicrous. This seems to have been a decision made by foundation board members and Evan exclusively. And THIS is what I meant when I posted that Darkcoin has always botched PR and other public relations... I agree with this, the communication was poor. But IMO it's not that dramatic (the name change).
