101  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Dash leading the race to Altcoin season? on: February 10, 2020, 07:28:45 PM
Dash made a pretty big correction, but so did a lot of alts recently.
A project similar to DASH, at least just as old, and with a circulating supply at about the same range is BLOCK.

Blocknet gained 300% over the span of a month, which is pretty awesome, but well expected considering what they've achieved as of lately, if you choose to follow the project.

Their work on decentralized oracles, read more here: https://blocknet.co/introducing-xrouter-developers-can-now-mix-and-match-any-blockchain-via-the-worlds-first-blockchain-router/

And their DEX, which they where the first project to release, actually prevented them getting on Binance, (Due to Binance not wanting competition, lol).

ARK is up 50% today, so overall a lot of alts is doing well as of recently.
102  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][Blocknet] truly decentralized exchange | token ecosystem infrastructure on: February 07, 2020, 04:48:00 PM
Over $136,000 have been atomic swapped on our DEX in the last 24 hours

Our biggest trade day yet!

Block DX has no KYC, no 3rd party, is 100% decentralized, is compleatly trustless and you trade via atomic swaps. Check it out:

https://blockdx.com/

That's amazing! I wonder if this was an OTC deal. Probably was, the Block DEX is an awesome platform to make use of for OTC deals as it's trustless!
103  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Blocknet. What's going on? on: February 07, 2020, 04:43:59 PM
Been following Blocknet for a while, (I know there is already a running thread about it, sorry), and the recent price move the past week is pretty crazy. 150%, expected a huge dump, but it seems like the buy pressure is still on-going. Been watching the order books, and have seen multiple 5k BLOCK orders appearing on the buy side.

This project is "old" from 2014, but they focus on decentralization mainly, which have been talked about over and over and over the past 6 months here and, on Reddit.
Everyone is sick and tired of centralization, but is THAT the reason why the price moved this much?
Their DEX is one thing, they've got first mover advantage on that, and their nodes will profit off of trading fees, but the most exciting part is their decentralized oracle network (XRouter), which is in beta at this stage. You can pull blockchain data from it through their Discord server, which is pretty cool...

Thoughts? Is it still a good buy, considering it's top was $55?
Better secure yourself and avoid on getting FOMOed.I believe this is already the peak and dont get yourself caught if it do immediately dump.

Dont know on whats the reason behind but you can read it for yourself regarding on updates.

https://discordapp.com/invite/2e6s7H8

True. FOMO is the worst thing you can do. The chart does look extremely bullish though, so it wouldn't surprise me if the price exceeds 25k sat within the next few days, as it did touch 28k just recently.

More and more people seem to want to get in on the next bull cycle, securing a node to cash in on DEX trading fees, no wonder when the DEX itself surpassed a daily volume of more than $100,000 just a few days ago.
104  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investment Advice for year 2020 on: February 07, 2020, 04:36:38 PM
Bitcoin is a SAFE hold, but it wont yield the biggest ROI, small cap projects will. There's a lot of risk involved with low cap projects though, which you must accept if you want to invest in these.

Blocknet gained more than 300% just recently, for obvious reasons:

1) They developed the first functional DEX: https://blockdx.com/ - Exceeding $100,000 in volume just the other day
2) They work on decentralized oracles (read up on their XRouter/XBridge tech to learn more)
3) Decentralization is key, this project was launched farily in 2014, and is on it's way back to to the top. Smart money is accumulating BLOCK nodes, to cash in on the next bull cycle. DEXs is ran by service nodes, which profit off of exchange fees, in other words people are accumulating Block nodes to get a nice passive income in the future (on top of oracle fees, and block rewards)

So while BTC is a great investment, there are tons of good opportunities investment wise out there, if you do your proper research right!
105  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: About Privacy Coins on: February 07, 2020, 04:26:50 PM
DASH and Monero is the industry leaders, and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

A lot of people like privacy coins, because they are private to transact with, but whenever you use a centralized exchange, your identity is exposed (at least for incoming transactions, and how much you hold).

Decentralized exchanges, such as the Blocknet DEX: https://blockdx.com/ goes very well hand in hand, as your identity is never at risk of being shown. No accounts is needed to transact, no KYC is enforced etc.

Moving forward, I believe DEX's will evolve with privacy coins, and both of them being used a lot more than they currently are today.
106  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Justin Sun had a dinner with Warren Buffet! on: February 07, 2020, 04:19:55 PM
Never liked Justin Sun. It seems like whatever he does... he does it for attention, gathering a ton of sheeps to "follow him". He does whatever he can to control, and manipulate the market in his own favor, not trustworthy at all.

A lot of people feel this way about him, he had his pump, but it takes way more than HYPE these days for a successful project to evolve.

Decentralization is key. - So many people seem to look for decentralization these days, as most are sick and tired of centralized entities, such as exchanges holding peoples funds as hostage, limiting accounts, asking for KYC, and the list goes on. Same with projects, who's founders exit scams, or dumps huge parts of the supply for their own monetary gain.

Decentralized Exchanges is the future, whether you like it or not. Blocknet increased by more than 300% recently, coincidence? No... Smart money is moving in to collect nodes to make trading fees as passive profits in the near future. Blocknet even saw volume exceeding $100k the other day, which is just the start of what's soon to be the new reality.

Justin Sun, CZ from Binance.. They may be in control as of this very moment, but it wont last, and they know it.
107  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Investing in Alts instead of Bitcoin for far greater returns (or losses) on: January 30, 2020, 12:22:44 AM
Aren't we all taking a bit of a risk here? Wasn't bitcoin essentially build around people who took risks as well? I am not saying you should do it, if you feel you would be doing something too risky maybe this is not for you however what people are doing is not weird, it is what bitcoin was build upon.

When Satoshi Nakomoto first created bitcoin, only a handful of people knew about it, with time it got wider audience and even started to worth some money and one day it went to 3 dollars per bitcoin, people were really shocked but wanted a taste of it, nowadays that bitcoin worths close to 9 thousand and was once 20 thousand dollars each. Top 20 is not the bad horrible coins, sure there are some like bch and bsv or even xrp if you ask me that are scammy and shady but the legit ones are actually trustworthy coins that worths the risks.

Any cryptocurrency is a "risk", BTC included. I believe use case, and tech is the most important thing to look after when deciding which project you want to throw your money at.
There are so many useless, vaporware projects out there that shouldn't have any value, yet does.

Been eyeing Blocknet for a while, and believe it's one of the hidden gems out there, due to their DEX platform. As a node owner (Requiring 5000 BLOCK), you'll be able to profit from DEX trading fees through your node. Once DEX's becomes the industry standard, you'll be able to make a boatload of money off fees, including their decentralized oracle network (Read up on the XRouter, and XBridge tech for more info on that).

All this combined provides 3 income streams as a node owner:

Block Rewards
DEX Fees
Oracle Fees
108  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is it worth to invest in Dash coin? on: January 30, 2020, 12:14:45 AM
Dash will do extremely well over the next coming years, no question about it.
Decentralized masternode network with privacy features. What's not to like here? Scarce supply as well!

Another project to keep an eye on, almost as old as Dash is Blocknet. Masternode coin as well, scarce supply, but with a few other focus points, decentralization being the main one.

Blocknet launched the first functional DEX, and is working on decentralized oracles as well. It performed insanely well the past week, so it's definitely a project to keep an eye on as well!
109  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 5 Crypto Projects to Watch in 2020 on: January 29, 2020, 11:42:53 PM
Definitely would add:

EOS: just because they have almost free fee's and super fast transactions.

Theta: Sharing Bandwith for cryptocurrency but they want to share data and more in the future.

Waves: The Dex is super easy to use and cheap fee's it is super easy to trade and hold your Crypto in the Waves dex

Just a few I personally like to watch im sure there are others worth of watching.

The Waves "DEX", is not a DEX, its a hybrid, meaning it's got a centralized part of it - Use it at your own risk.

The only real DEX that is worth mentioning is the Blocknet DEX: https://blockdx.com/
Extremely promising project, that also works on decentralized oracle services through service nodes, which makes it the most decentralized network I personally know off. No premine, ERC20 token BS. Oldschool project from 2014.

Doubled in price the past week, and looking bullish still.
110  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which altcoins are you keeping in your bag for 2020-2021 ? on: January 27, 2020, 07:10:42 PM
BTC
LTC
ETH

And a huge stack of BLOCK (Which performed nicely the past week +100%). Blocknet is probably one of the altcoins I'm MOST bullish on, considering they've got the first mover advantage on DEX developments: https://blockdx.com/
Other than that, their work on decentralized Oracles through their tech: XRouter and XBridge, is pretty impressive as well.
I'm sure we'll see this project back in the top 100 Coinmarketcap soon enough.  Grin
111  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Reasons to be bullish on BitcoinSV on: January 27, 2020, 07:07:25 PM
BSV is a joke, that will slowly die in the coming years. The only reason people buy it, is because they follow Craig Wright like sheeps  Roll Eyes Believing he is the "real Satoshi", which he isn't, otherwise he would off have proven it long ago.

BSV may have many transactions, but it really doesn't matter, I know of no one who uses it, and it honestly wouldn't surprise me if Craig is sending out the majority of those transactions as "micro transactions" to prove something it's not.

It's basically a trash fork, see way more value in Bitcoin Cash to be honest, and that's saying a lot.

There is only one Bitcoin, and even that is old and outdated - Moving forward I believe projects with actual use cases will dominate even more.
Blocknet and their DEX https://blockdx.com/ is a project I've been following for a long time. Their work on decentralized oracles, and their decentralized structure made the coin double in price the past week, which is showing bullish signs.
112  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Blocknet moved 72% the past week. Will it continue? on: January 22, 2020, 05:25:49 PM
It seems liek it will not continue, just like every other coin in the market, when it pump high, it will also dump hard.

we have big negative today, and that's a bad sign that it will not continue to pump.

Well..... I guess you was wrong buddy...  Grin

113  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin’s Next Peak May ‘Only’ Be $80,000, Says Analyst on: January 21, 2020, 05:25:19 PM
Aaand then you wonder how high ALT's will go?  Shocked As BTC moves up, alts will follow, and far outperform BTC as seen in the past. (Market cycles, nothing new).

Blocknet moved 70%+ the past week, Dash and a few other top coins has moved by a large percentage as well. Products will real use cases, partnerships, etc will do extremely well no question about it.
I believe BLOCK did so well the past week because they're working on decentralized oracles, and has a first mover advantage on DEX developments: https://blockdx.com/

Besides, it's an old project, completely decentralized unlike most new projects, which seems to be appealing to a lot of people these days.

Overall, I believe alts will make people insanely wealthy, IF you pick the right ones.
114  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Investing in Alts instead of Bitcoin for far greater returns (or losses) on: January 21, 2020, 05:20:02 PM
Once the market moves again, alts will greatly outperform BTC, no question about it.
I hold a small portion of BLOCK, and it's been rising pretty nicely the past week (+70%), and seems to continue, a few other alts of mine has done pretty neat as well.

Overall, it's all about your timing on these alts, and what you choose to invest in. Blocknet moved a lot because they work on Decentralized Oracles, and got a first mover advantage on DEX developments, which is why investors is buying in now to get their node I guess. (5k coins required). Node owners profit from the oracle services + trading fees on the DEX + block rewards, so it's no wonder this project is on a lot of peoples radar.

Overall, your position in the top 20 alts is not a bad move either, and I'm sure you'll do good Smiley
115  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Blocknet moved 72% the past week. Will it continue? on: January 21, 2020, 05:12:50 PM
Good for you, if you are holding Blocknet, but for new investors please do not invest now, let the price correct and hit the bottom, with side movement. I have learnt my lessons chasing a pumping coins most time would turn you to bagholders for long period, unless you which to take your loss fast

I'm just holding a little actually. However it surprised me it moved so much the past week, and have put a few more buy orders in around 12k sat. I believe it's gonna keep going, as the dump already happened shortly after I posted this yesterday, continued by another leg up, so it's pretty clear that someone is trying to accumulate.

Never buy into a pump though, I agree... Smiley
116  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Blocknet moved 72% the past week. Will it continue? on: January 20, 2020, 07:01:48 PM
I've been following Blocknet for the past few months, and I'm VERY bullish on it.

Not only are they first movers on the whole DEX area, (Their DEX speaks for itself: https://blockdx.com/), but they are also working on a completely decentralized oracle solution, which frankly is WAY more decentralized than LINK, due to the way it operates. Blocknet was never premined, fair launch, and to be honest, I was impressed with the info you can pull from the XRouter already when I went to their Discord channel to try it out.

If these guys starts aquiring partnerships, you can bet your ass the price is gonna fly.

I believe in the next coming years that DEX's will be adopted on a WAY bigger scale than we've seen today, since they beat KYC, privacy etc.
If the demand for nodes on the network increases, it creates an enormous pressure on the buy side from people who wants want to get in on the passive income aspect of things, as when you run a node, you profit from the DEX trading fees.

What are you guys thoughts on this?
117  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: These projects will go big in 2020, I assume. on: January 20, 2020, 06:54:09 PM
Never heard of any of them, haha!  Grin

I believe the strongest most usable alts will be the BIG winners moving forward. Decentralization is KEY, and therefor I believe a project such as Blocknet will be a massive gainer the next few years, surpringly, it jumped by nearly 100% in value the past month, so I'm pretty bullish on it moving forward.

Their DEX speaks for itself: https://blockdx.com/

On top of that they work on Decentralized Oracles (Read up on XRouter, and XBridge for more info).

As always, do your own research, there is so many promising projects, however projects focusing on decentralization will be the biggest winners I assume!
118  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What Might Be The First Exchange To Close Down or Exit Scam in 2020? on: January 20, 2020, 06:51:06 PM
It's kinda ironic that we even need to discuss this, as the need for centralized exchanges is slowly fading away, day by day. The demand for DEX's is increasing, and fast. Sure I understand the sceptics out there, but let's face it. It's gonna happen slowly, but surely.

Most people are SICK and tired of KYC, exchange hacks, wallet maintenances at the worst possible times, and the list goes on and on.

Blocknet is leading the DEX development, and is a project I'm personally watching very closely. https://blockdx.com/

It makes me sick, that these centralized exchanges could at any time run away with everyones money, under the disguise of being "hacked".  Roll Eyes

Decentralised exchanges would clearly solve the problems of KYC and it would protect users from the excuses of "hacks" that you highlighted. I still think time is needed before these exchanges start shutting down and wide spread use of excellent decentralised exchanges are commonplace.

Do you have any views on what might be the first exchange to close down in 2020?

Why do you even want to know that? I stopped using centralized exchanges awhile ago actually. For large trades I do OTC with escrow, (know few reputable people, which is a must), for smaller trades I use DEX's, which is frankly the future, no doubt.

People who wants to protect their privacy is obviously using DEX's, and their adoption will grow slowly, but surely. Personally speculating on accumulating a few nodes in Blocknet, since I believe they will become extremely lucrative in terms of "profit" in a few years time.
119  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Blocknet Speculation Thread on: January 14, 2020, 07:13:54 PM
What is you guys price projections for BLOCK in like the next 3 years? Anyone willing to make an estimate? I'd love to hear you guys opinion  Grin

Impossible to predict, but a 10x from here on is EASILY achieveable, especially with it's low marketcap currently.
120  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Blocknet Speculation Thread on: January 09, 2020, 05:49:32 AM
Blocknet...  Now that's a name I haven't heard in a looong time.  Kinda brings me back to the 2013 - 2014 era when everybody was starry eyed and optimistic about crypto.

Well, it's still a project in active development, but true, it's one of the most decentralized projects out there, and while it may be one of the old school projects, it still has some interesting aspects that could make it blow up in price again. Their XRouter is what excites me the most, IMHO.
