101  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Ravencoin lite miners on here? on: October 07, 2021, 06:43:15 AM
The original is always better than the fork this is very clear to see as there are many big coins in the market that has forks and till today no fork did better than the original, this days everything and the only fork I like is from Bitcoin that is BCH
102  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Most performing altcoin for October on: October 06, 2021, 10:32:48 AM
Litecoin Cash.

We have a hole thread about that issue: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5363430.0

There are a lot of updates and it is correlating with Litecoin since 2021 and a lot of more.

Litecoin Cash is even a long term store of value investment now.

Please read the hole thread step by step and take a look.

I hope no one listens to this crazy advice of yours, litecoincash is a shitcoin honestly because I've been following them since launch, I bought years back and I'm still in loss even in bear market, no new updates and development, no new partnerships, things just sucks around litecoincash and that's 💯 FACT
103  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Trex and LHR GPU on: October 05, 2021, 07:58:26 AM
Trex miner fan here, I want to know if Trex miner already have its own support of LHR unlock, I'm aware that NBminer is the first and also lolminer has its own too but I haven't heard any about Trex miner, anyone using LHR cards with T-rex miner?
104  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: I want to start Mining on: October 02, 2021, 04:14:49 PM
Perhaps mining now is no longer profitable for 2017. There have been a lot of rigs that have to be thrown away because of not enough electricity.
If this is so true how come ETH mining difficulty is so high till date? If this is so true how come there are scarcity of GPUs around the world? If this is so true where are all the GPUs from China after their government ban crypto mining in the country? Do good research first before making statements
105  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Old GPU the best for free electricity? on: October 02, 2021, 07:00:29 AM
Gtx1060 and P106-100 are still a good GPU to buy for mining if one has free electricity? What about gtx1070 and 1080? I have free electricity in my home right now and I want to take good advantage of this opportunity 😜😜
106  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / What do you guys think about this complete rig setup? on: October 01, 2021, 09:29:23 AM
Guys is this setup worth the money? 3000$

3 p106~100 6gb
1 p106 90
2 rx570
2000watts psu
12pci board
negotiable

The seller said it's still negotiable but I feel somehow about the deal, looks over priced already to me, what do you think is the right price for this whole setup?
107  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The market situation is deteriorating day by day.. on: September 30, 2021, 07:40:32 AM
No one can give you the right answer for your question OP, crypto market is unpredictable some times and big investors (whales) are just like random people like us, they have fear and greed as well but they do have the power to manipulate the market at the right time, if you are looking forward to invest in coins I'd say you should use little funds because to me bull market have stay around for too long now so I'm expecting bear market soon, this is just my own opinion though nothing is guaranteed here
108  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: I buyd 3060 ti and i am at total loss on: September 29, 2021, 07:06:43 PM
if i decide to mine that conflux crypto how to create conflux wallet and can i convert it to real cash ?

Is the existance of this crypto stable for now ?
You can convert any coin that's on exchanges to any stable coins or Fiat you like and yes Conflux is not a new altcoin it's becoming well embraced by crypto space, why not just do your own research ? You will find all the answers you seek

110  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: LHR users it's all about the extra config argument on: August 22, 2021, 12:39:38 PM
Not all LHR cards will accept "69" some even works for some minutes and later crash or locked LHR back to default, most graphic cards did well at "68" for the unlocked LHR to stay unlocked
111  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: What's the best AMD miner now on: August 21, 2021, 01:38:59 PM
TeamRed miner is the best for me, I tried SRBminer and NBminer then I lost significant amount of hashrate using RX Vega 56 cards, I instantly went back to team red miner..

Teamred         SRbminer       NBminer
    46MH               36MH               36MH with DAG error
That is pretty low for a Vega

With TeamRedMiner and proper timing (amdmemtweak), my Vega can achieve 50 to 54 MH/s (but I keep them @50 to be less power hungry)
https://imgur.com/a/CmBGjwr

amdmemtweak --gpu 0,3,6 --ras 26 --rcdrd 13 --rcdwr 12 --rc 38 --rp 12 --rrds 3 --rrdl 5 --rtp 6 --faw 12 -- cwl 8 --wtrs 4 --wtrl 9 --wr 13 --ref 24000 --rfc 239
amdmemtweak --gpu 1,2,4,5 --cl 18 --ras 23 --rcdrd 13 --rcdwr 11 --rc 34 --rp 13 --rrds 3 --rrdl 4 --rtp 6 --faw 12 --cwl 7 --wtrs 4 --wtrl 4 --wr 11  --rfc 164 --REF 17000

And after testing a lot of miners for AMD.
If the rig is AMD only, TeamRedMiner is awesome.
If you have to mix AMD / NVidia then lolminer is great especially with Nvidia LHR cards
Help, I have Vega 56 sapphire and I can achieve 58MH but not stable, it keeps crashing over and over until I increase RCDRD to 19-20 but I can't increase memory clock more than 900 too what am I doing wrong ?
112  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Old GPUs have chance with Ergo? on: August 21, 2021, 08:12:57 AM
Have anyone try autolykos2 algorithm (ergo) on old AMD cards like hd7970 GPUs? Asking on behalf of a friend who still have many of this cards at hand and looking for what to mine with them presently
113  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Future mining plan revealed on: August 20, 2021, 03:48:04 PM
@ Metroid @Philipma your attention is needed since you guys have been around for a very long time now, I have a plan that's been set in motion already since 2020, please kindly tell me if I'm right on track or off track

My plan is to have a 1gh mining farm

1. I'm presently at 400MH as we speak and I've made back my ROI from some of the cards I used to achieve this 400MH, what I want to do now is make back half of the ROI on the new cards I got and start taking profits even in bear market to buy back GPUs since they would be cheaper in bear market

2. Or I should just keep mining for now and taking profits then when bear market starts I should start holding my coins instead, probably in BTC

I have free electricity and solar energy set up, this is 100% covered so you don't need to give answers on electricity consumption, also this is why dream I'm not doing this for quick return of investment, it's what I intend to keep alive for a long time

What you can do is sell your coins high right now for usdc then keep the usdc to cover the bear market in case positive gains become negative gains, in your case mining is better than buying coins even in the bear market. Do not buy gpus right now, as eth price keep going up, keep selling in 2 week to 2 weeks basis. You can sell your gpus high right when there is a huge crash, usually takes time for gpus prices to crash, you will have enough time to sell your gpus high then after the gpus crash a lot then buy back with the money you saved during the bull market.

On the bear market, do not sell your coins, even if they crash a lot more, keep, that is usually a beartrap for them to buy coins cheaper, there are many beartraps in the bearmarket, good luck.
Yea whatever I'm mining right now is been turned into USDT, I plan to start holding once bear market kicked in, I'm not in any rush of any kind I'm in for a long term, I just want a better future with crypto is all, thanks for replying I will aid your advice
114  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Is it reasonable to start a new GPU mining farm right when eth 2.0 is so close? on: August 20, 2021, 03:00:19 PM
Its funny because I was asking myself this question back in Spring of 2016, "should I buy more GPUs since ETH is going POS in Summer 2016" and its been 5 years and technically still no POS. The point is that the devs are always late for their deadlines. It will be a few years before ETH POS is fully live. You got bigger issues right now to worry about.

First is obviously the lack of supply and high GPU prices. Second is the new ASICs coming out which will make difficulty even higher. Third is the price of ETH. There are many factors to consider. There is always going to be some form of risk. You don't want to invest $10000 in GPUs and then have to sell them on eBay for $5000. A loss is a loss.

And you are right. Those other PoW GPU mineable coins don't have enough miner revenue for all GPU owners to be happy. They obviously won't be a situable replacement.
There shouldn't be new ASIC miners if truly ETH is going fully PoS algorithm, ETH teams are deceivers honestly, I don't see PoW algorithm going away for years because there are just too many benefiting from ETH mining right now, Nvidia and AMD sells even better thanks to crypto and pretending as if gamers matters more lol, ASIC developers too they are Richy rich with ETH mining too yet they build new TH power ASIC this year, if this doesn't change your mind I don't know what will
115  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Is it reasonable to start a new GPU mining farm right when eth 2.0 is so close? on: August 20, 2021, 02:29:01 PM

People think buying lhr gpus to mine rvn and other altcoins will be profitable in the bear market ehhe, in the bear market, there is no demand, nobody buys altcoins or cryptocoins because they know will be many months at least 24 months of misery, depression, and so on, gameover, not even eth is profitable, other coins will be a lot lot worse, lhr gpus will be sold extremely cheap. Bullruns all are profitable, bear market is the opposite, nothing is profitable, link which is sold around around 28 usd right now, crashed to 0.01, that is right one cent of a dollar hehe, you trolls have no idea what a bear market is.
That's some people not everybody, I will gladly buy many GPUs in bear market and use solar panels to mine for fours years, 2025-2026 on my mind by God's grace, I will live to tell a good tale I hope we all live to see that day (BTC halving) again, small minded people think only about right now not the future
116  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Next bear market might not be that bearish on: August 19, 2021, 11:36:22 AM
Bear market usually has a lot of factors involved in order for it to come alive. The two main factors are the price of the crypto which is being mined and its network difficulty. If this is price of crypto high and network difficulty low then bear market won't come until these factors change.I don't think lhr cards have anything to do with it.
If the price of crypto is high why would network difficulty become low? Isn't that talking about mining difficulty? Correct me if I'm wrong but once price surges mining reward will also looks nicer too meaning more miners will join and network difficulty will go higher too
117  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Patience is important on: August 19, 2021, 11:11:20 AM
There are so many impatience people that missed important details sometimes, and lose the chance to make bigger profit because they didn’t analyze the market in the first place.
please be patient.Valuable coins need time to grow.
I am not mean that all altcoins are worth to wait.Just wait selectively.
One thing we must to remember that our goal is to make profit,so Patience should be based on your target price.

Lose the Chance to bigger profit you say? Na not for me, every profits is fine with me, I've wasted so much time and effort waiting for a massive pump on the coins I'm holding so that I can cash out big but always end badly, everything turn around when I started taking profits, maybe it's just me? This is what works for me and I'm happy about it
118  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Fantom CBDC on: August 19, 2021, 10:43:41 AM
I'm one of their few who thinks that CDBC is a joke and won't work out on the long run but fantom project kinda got me thinking, Fantom release news about their upcoming CBDC that will be representing bank of England, what the fuck? This whole thing got me confused now

Maybe CBDC will actually be a new thing in crypto space? I'm starting to think of many possibilities, anyways full news below

119  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 12 Reasons to Invest in Ethereum 2021 How to do it? on: August 18, 2021, 03:09:26 PM
Ethereum will remain the king of smart contract for sure no matter what other project comes with better solution, the case is just going to look like BTC and it's fork, Bitcoincash for example has cheaper and faster transaction fee but still can't take over BTC, you can't go wrong investing in Ethereum for long term
120  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Sapphire GPU are poorly built? Or just not rugged on: August 18, 2021, 02:06:35 PM
Zotac improved a lot over the years.
I have 12x3080 amp holo and they are rock solid.
Yes zotac is good I've been buying their cards since gtx1080ti amp and it's working perfectly till date, I have 12 gtx1660 super that are all zotac too they work very well, zotac isn't a joke
