If the devs can prove somehow that the 15mil are indeed lost then it's all fair, if not then those coins will hang above the coin's price as a big black cloud and would never allow it to grow above 200-300 satoshi.

this is the only sensible thing to do. Would like to hear the devs about this.

its still fair if we can be absolutely certain that the 15 million coins cant be accessed anymore

Good idea... BUT we need to also "remove" the undistributed coins or something, if possible... this will also add trust.
