102  Other / Beginners & Help / Adhere and avoid being scamed !! on: December 10, 2020, 12:21:38 PM
If you have been really active in this category of the forum, we would have noticed that the issue of scam wallet has been rampant  eg. playstore  and if it continues it will surely do harm to the name cyrpto ,
I wanted to bring to our notice that they are different kind of wallet  and there are different wallet for different system like if you use desktop  to store your tokens or coin they are wallets for that ,
iOS device has it preferred wallet
Android device also has it own preferred wallet
 Source.https://www.buybitcoinworldwide.com/wallets/

And do more research before you pick your wallet , scam wallet is really an issue .
103  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: [ALEART] Scam Aave Wallet asking for private key on: December 09, 2020, 03:02:57 PM
Playstore is now turning into a scam center really, in one week they have been series of complain about scam wallet , what is really happening?.
Be careful on the wallet you choose , if this continues it will end up spoiling the name of crypto .
104  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are there governments that are utilizing the technology of Blockchain & Bitcoin? on: December 09, 2020, 02:38:52 PM
I can say that they are not only government but also organization utilizing blockchain and bitcoin,
The might be exploring it for other means aside crypto
Blockchain is not all about crypto
You could check my previous post to find out
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5298168.msg55781797#msg55781797
So I think they are not only government and organisation but also individual .
105  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Fatal Error in Bitcoin Core 0.20.1 on: December 08, 2020, 08:24:44 PM
Well I can't say anything about that cause I am yet to download my ,
but judging form this
Source:.https://bitcoin.org/en/release/v0.20.1#changes-regarding-misbehaving-peers
I think it depends on the kind of system or software you are running it on,
Bitcoin 0.20.1 is not compatible with all devices
106  Other / Beginners & Help / Blockchain was not only meant for crypto on: December 08, 2020, 02:17:45 PM
This topic has being in this forum before but I don't think it was in the beginners & help category,.we are limited to the idea of blockchain been created for only crypto transaction , but it not the blockchain is more broad than we all think.
Look on here and be informed

The blockchain is open for all don't be limited.
107  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Michael Saylor is not Bitcoin's hero on: December 08, 2020, 08:38:00 AM
This is just to show that most investors really don't understand the concept of bitcoin , the just investing in this to yield profit and when that don't happen they then to call it names. I wish they was a way to give them proper orientation before they invest in it.....
108  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I want to become a Member on: December 07, 2020, 10:22:35 PM
From my stay in this forum I discovered that this is not the right place to post such message , and merits are gotten by credibility ...
You might end up losing your whole account if banned

109  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ron Paul advises people to be careful regarding bitcoins on: December 07, 2020, 07:49:40 PM
When we talk about government we should not generalize it as a whole ,there are some government that accepts the idea of bitcoin and some that doesn't, really I have to agree with mnporter2001, the post came out late , but crypto was always meant as a peer to peer transaction with even know the two parties in question ..that the main reason I don't buy the idea of kyc at all.with it we aren't safe even if we ain't doing anything illegal .
110  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are PGP Keys? on: December 07, 2020, 07:39:13 PM

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5297826.msg55773720#msg55773720
That link above shows the region bitcoin has reach round the world ,
So regulation crypto currency now is really hard because the world is adapting to bitcoin and I mean not gradually but rapidly .
Any government trying to regulate crypto will really find it difficult unless they ban it

113  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: World Map of Bitcoin Legality on: December 07, 2020, 11:55:05 AM
Then why do we keep saying bitcoin isn't accepted according to that map bitcoin is gradually globalizing the world ,it just in certain regions who haven't heard of it and the restricted area ,
Bitcoin is really making progress if they survey is accurate.
114  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Giving merit to newbies for good replies on: December 07, 2020, 11:16:42 AM
Basically the idea is bright not just to help rank up some one, I am a newbie and I know how I felt when I receive my very first merit in this forum, I was extremely happy with the merit, it made me motivated that one day I could go far as to be a legendary member like you of the forum...and I believe it will come to pass gradually .
I am not posting any of my post because I feel I could be merited  no by chance but by hardwork and credibility for now maybe some other time I will post to get merits but not today .
Good luck to everyone that get merits
115  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Fake MyCelium be aware! on: December 07, 2020, 10:45:45 AM
Don't they analysis app before approving it on playstore anymore 😩, or they just approve it to tarnish crypto it self what really happening?
Let be careful when picking a Wallet to avoid fraud or loss of assets.
116  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: **family survives 40 countries living only on Bitcoins** on: December 06, 2020, 03:04:50 PM

He didn't cut his hair because there was nobody to do it for Bitcoin? Ever heard of a hair clipper? It costs like $20 and can run on batteries.

[/quote]
I guess he was trying to experience cutting his hair and paying for it with bitcoin 😏
117  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: **family survives 40 countries living only on Bitcoins** on: December 06, 2020, 02:44:08 PM
I think this is like killing two brids with one stone, educating people and using bitcoin at the same time, even with the non-acceptance of bitcoin in his country he still continue to live with that, that a motivation for all bitcoiners and future investors ...
118  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Taxation of 30% on gains from Bitcoin investment? on: December 06, 2020, 01:58:04 PM
Like I always tell my close pals, not everyone is happy with the sudden rise in bitcoin, this 30% taxation by the India government is just to scare investors into crypto that just the summary of it all, not everyone is happy about it and 30% is too much for a tax  and if this continues believe it will push away investors both in India and anyway around the world....it so sad to here this
119  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: MicroStrategy strengthens its Bitcoin game, invests addition $50M in BTC on: December 05, 2020, 09:22:54 PM
In summary ,I think it just shows how much bitcoin is affecting the market , the firm I think looked into the price rally of bitcoin ,from that link I won't really call them a new whales ,because he said the bought extra BTC worth 50 million, it means the institutions has be in crypto and it loving it , so they aquired more bitcoin ...
It a great step in increasing the trust in bitcoin.
120  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: USA prepare to give a new bill for Stable Coin - Shark tricks?? on: December 04, 2020, 03:17:51 PM
I don't think such bill will be approved honestly, most of the law makers and the higher ranks officials really don't buy the idea of bitcoin firstly
So if the go straight to making a bill again bitcoin it will be rejected, most people trade their BTC to a stable coin for
easy withdrawal ,and passing a bill on a stable coin ( usdt),will not just dis-stabilze it stability but also it's value in the crypto market.
I think this is just a way to fight again the massive pump in bitcoin ..
