Uptweets *no offense* I am amazed at your optimism despite all the news of exchange scams, gambling website scams, and hacking incidents. Hey but what do I know, I'm just a noob with no rep around bitcoin forum. I hope you are right though. Honestly, I pray you are right but my confidence in the cryptocurrency system has been shaken.
So far, in 2 days , I get screwed by 2 dice sites. Great intro to the cryptoworld!

If you are updating this list anytime in the future, everydice.com has cheated me out of my money by not crediting a deposit.
Have there been complaint's about everydice?

I have, in the past few days, been able to obtain a quite of bit of litecoins which I. I am thinking either to convert it to lend or to keep the litecoins and watch it do its magical nothing all day. I am writing to you as a potential investor and would like to know about your revenue stream, two risk factors I perceive, and the business infrastructure you are forecasting.
1) You mentioned trading as the main purpose of your loan. However, I noticed the length of time between loan origination to maturity is less a month, which only makes sense if you have trading counter-parties already lined up. Is there other forms of trading your business engages in? If not, how does your business model maintain the type of traffic that is needed to replicate or increase past customer traffic to your LBC listings? In other words, how can I, as an investor, be reasonably certain that, going forward, you are able to maintain the necessary inventory turnover rate to pay loan and interest? This is the first risk factor I would like some clarification on.
2) What trading strategy are you employing to hedge against the volatile bitcoin/usd ratio, which is crucial to ensure my loan (for the trading side of your loan) is protected? Even if you make great 8-30% margins on LBC or elsewhere, getting the fiat into BTC can have additional fees that eat into your great margins, and volatile market prices will definitely be a gamble. This is the second risk factor I would like some clarification on.
Business loans:
Yo mentioned: "I plan to allow users to buy/sell bitcoin directly to/from my company and have a method for lenders to track their loans to/from the company."
Those words are music to my ears. But I just wanted to make sure I am understanding this properly. Is this a move toward establishing a direct competitor in the fixed-btc exchanges (like bitsimple, local bitcoin) or is this a move to limit the liability and create transparency by having an open system to match the loans to the actual transaction it financed? Also, which state/country will this llp/llc/s-corp/etc. be incorporated in?
I think the amounts you asked for makes you severely undercapitalized in cases of emergencies or business downturn. When I used to valuate businesses of all sizes, I noticed small businesses failed at such a higher percentage vs. middle - large sized businesses. My managing partner always mentioned to me that the reason small businesses have a hard time getting a loan isn't because of their revenue stream or business infrastructure. It was because they are always one accident or one unforeseen issue away from failing to to meet loan obligations.
I'd like to see a small sample size of these trades you do and verify them, and would like to get my questions addressed. If not and others are willing to finance you, ignore my due diligence.

I would like to inquire about a small loan. I am not familiar with your lending practices, however, I will make my case. To begin with the basics of a loan structure, I am prepared with a downpayment (collateral of approximately 22.5 litecoins). While I am a new member of the bitcointalk community, I do have a strong understanding of finance and accounting (which I can discuss in a PM), and I am confident that my business plan has a revenue stream to compensate you for the credit risk and to give me the infusion of capital to further develop my business infrastructure. My loan request is for 1.95 bitcoins.
I could speak to you further about my revenue streams in private message, and it may give you an understanding of the risk level of my business. Given my new member status and the fact I have not had the opportunity establish a reputation in this community, I will be open to your lending policies and understand your position. Please inform me of escrow procedures and the formation of a promissory note for this lending offer. Thank you, and please private message me.

So, I attempted to sell some available amazon egift cards on this site, and it surprised me but there were numerous people who attempted to scam me. Luckily, I did my due diligence and read up on the scams that happened and took advice from the experiences of others in the past. To admit, without reading the warnings and past posts and doing research on the supposed traders, I definitely would have lost everything. To admit however, these scammers' attempts were ingenious.
I'm feeling wary about doing trades here, but I am sure these small group of scammers do not reflect this community. I am curious if there is a running list of scammers and good traders on this site that I can refer to. In addition, I am curious if escrowing transaction is enough to prevent the possibility of being scammed out of trades in the future. I am seeking the forums' collective expertise on this matter so I can better prepare myself.
Thank you.

Well, I think there are possibilities: 1) Because he was involved the theft 2) He was grossly negligent... criminally negligent... 3) People around him screwed him over big time and left him holding the bag (unlikely possibility) 4) He doesn't care. All he knows is he is rich and gox is his own piggy bank 5) He doesn't know where to begin....
To be honest, I don't think we'll ever know what is going through Karpeles' mind. We'll probably never really understand what went on inside gox because let's face it, bitcoins and other cryptocurrencies are something investigators/courts/etc never really encountered in their line of duty. But, you do raise an interesting question.

Though I am new here, I would like to sell a $200 Amazon gift code for $170 worth of bitcoins , which will be sent your email or your choice of destination. I understand the risks of scams, so I would like to do this transaction through an escrow. I made a cryptothrift listing: https://cryptothrift.com/auctions/vouchers/200-amazon-giftcard-digital-delivery/This will escrow it and make this transaction safe for both parties. if another escrow site like btcrow is preferable, please let me know by messaging me or leaving a reply to this topic.

I was kind of hoping he wasn't gone.
I'd be interested in buying out zeus dice and fixing it up big time. Can anyone provide insight into this possibility? If it is more than 0 percent chance, please tell me how.
