101  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [AИN] NXT Lite - Official discussion Page - Announces - Branding - Logo Design on: May 25, 2014, 04:32:21 PM
Worst thing you could do is to distribute 1/3rd of the coins among the 1200 users and keep the remianing coins for yourself.
Even if you are going to give these coins away later, people will always tell you, that you knept 2/3rd of the initial coins.  (= unfaire distribution )

I dont want to tell you how to act and what to do.
Just do the right thing ! and put some thought into your decision.

Hey dzarmush I don't quite understand what is your problem?!

We've set this  goal since the beginning!

You also said IPO end on 25th of May (today) .
Once you won't stick to your official annoucements, people will call you scammers.
And once people call you scammers, it will be very hard to get rid of that image.

So in my eyes, node's success depends on how you will handle your missed target goal of 3500 users.

I understand your moivation. Each new users bring you 0.05BTC. At a price of 500$ per BTC this is around 60000$ for you if 2500 more people join.
However think of this: As long as you are selling stakes for this price, it is impossible for our stakes to raise in value.

Any further IPO should guarantee a gain for round1 investors as well... In industry you could think of business angels that are aiming for venture capitalists to join the boat.
Those of us investing before 25th May are the business angels. The coming investors could be VCs. (Sure , developers want to earn aswell, but please make sure to appease your early investors aswell...)

As it is CPU only minable, i chose CPU pins to design the logo.
Quality is poor, but this can easily been improved.

Integrated into a coin it might look like that:

If you pay 0,00005 BTC for a given coin, 1 vote is added.
Now have a looke at the BTC payment address for BCN: https://blockchain.info/address/17CwKeNmCFkiAtYW4GDezzNzqdZnMyL64P
0,3 Bitcoins have been paid, at a rate of 0,00005 BTC per vote, this equals 6000 votes.

tadaaaa 1st place.

Sometimes reading just answers a whole lot of questions.
105  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: April 14, 2014, 04:20:57 PM
Have a look at the BTC price in the timeframe between mid december and end January .  Now compare that to the "big picture" chart.
Not that I am trading expert - far from it - but for me personally this makes sense.

This is how I see it, without taking into account any specific news but only the chart and the price (what naturally reflects people global reactions to the news)

My guess: Rise to about 600-700$.
Then after that there are 2 ways out. Either we break 720$ mark and it goes up further. Or we miss it and we will quickly fall below 300$ again.

Hi,

Im getting the same error but my path is absolute :-

2014-Apr-13 19:00:39.497336 [P2P2]ERROR c:\projects\sorrybigbro\src\p2p\net_node.inl:779 check_trust failed to check time conditions, last_stat_request_time=1397411982, proof_time=1397411677

What is wrong as I have invested a day on getting all this working ?

I would recommend that you download the quick start bundle as it includes the blockchain and this takes a very long time to create.

I also had other errors popping up in red in my command line. Actually sometimes there is a lot of red in my cmd window. However only once while finding a block and not getting coins. Maybe orphaned block ?
However, I managed to mine a block 2 days ago, so i am confident having all set up well...

Well, maybe some "readers-only" want to become active as they see an innovation?

At the moment - for me - it is not the right time to buy crypto if you want to earn money short time.
I missed the bitcoin train (and many others did too) but I dont want to miss the crypto train. Innovation just began- and didnt end with bitcoin prices falling.
You can read all of these forums without having an account. That's what I did.

I am interested in easy to use coins with innovative technology.I like the NXT "you passphrase is your wallet" concept and I believe in node.js or basically javascript on server side and its modularity.
To most technical questions there is an answer that can be found within these forums so there actually is no need to particiape actively until a given point .
