If he ignored me I would have taken the sig off after a few days. I'm not saying updown handled everything well but if you weren't confirmed I can't blame him for not paying. In fact he even paid 1 person who was not confirmed which was nice but maybe opened a can of worms! Service got a bunch of double spent attacks, so a lot of transactions was stuck during this time, and I was mostly away last month because of illness. Now everything works fine, except one thing — payouts are not instant anymore.
No offence but to me sounds like your running a bitcoin business being non solvent just like mtgox, Plus I seeen many scam accusations about not paying forum advertisers. Its very petty for you invest 25000 usd, then to let everything fall due to an illness which you never elaboratley explained to any of the members. From what I read in the sig campaign thread, a lot of people are still waiting for their payment for last month... Everybody got paid with a week or so delay — not so big delay to name someone a scammer. We've meet a lot of scammers on the forum, and it makes me laugh a bit when someone who sells his signature for money names us scammers after week delay. That seems like a bit of an insult to your own clients. I have yet to receive my "seized" funds back. Can you please provide a response to this as I have waited for a rather long time. You cannot expect people to not grow impatient with the delays that have been caused by your company. Agree with initski. Updown why are you minimizing the fact that you were so late? No, now I wouldn't call you a scammer but your attitude is to screw everyone else, even in this post I'm quoting. There's nothing unethical about selling a signature, but your actions were unethical where you were indefinitely holding us all hostage with no idea whether you'd payout or not. Even if you had come and said "sorry guys, I'm really ill, I'm gathering coins to pay, etc." it would have been ok. Instead you promised 2 different dates on which you would pay and totally ignored those dates and didn't even pop on to say what was going on. You need more faith. We're not a scammers, we're making business. And finally everybody (who had enough faith and hope) got paid. |

I'm not sure what exactly happened to this signature campaign. It seemed to run pretty well before. OP, if health problems are what is stopping you from continuing this signature campaign, I suggest you ask someone else to help you run it. IDK about howzar, I'm not sure why so many people trusted him. I agree. He wasn't that well known or trusted on the forum, so I don't get why people were using him as their signature operator, but well, that is my humble opinion. He apparently got banned for PM spamming. I have a feeling he PMed every bitcoin related project he knew about (ok, I may be exaggerating a bit) and offered them his signature campaign services... and some people agreed. Updown.bt, some people aren't like howzar. That user had alt accounts, was ban evading, and did not use escrow for the signature campaigns. You can select someone like bitcoininformation to run the campaign, then get a trusted escrow to help hold onto some of the funds. There are many people who have escrowed over 6 figures' worth of transactions. Can you trust them a bit more?  Now that these signature campaigns are all ending around us, I'm not sure what'll happen to PD's signature campaign. I've had good experiences with both bitcoininformation and monbux before so I'd trust them to run it. Also, although many sig campaigns are fading away, it seems like there are plenty stepping in to fill the void. I think the question is how many will hang around long enough to put some upward price pressure on PD's rates. Many don't survive too long. To be honest — those campaigns are not so profitable. |

posting once agian as ignored for 10th time I originally signed up to this campaign over 3 weeks ago now. I originally joined on the 29th May 2014 to be paid 1 week later on the 5Th June. But instead confirmed a few people much later on posting and signing up and added a few more from people who where behind me. I asked again where payment was and again got ignored and many other people have been ignored too. I had given till midnight Monday 16th June 2014 to post details and updates of what is going on with regards to being added to the campaign and to be paid. Again I was ignored and no payment made. Yet you still havent paid me and making claims you have paid everyone this is total BS Joined on 29th May. Did not get verified. Continued to post throughout the week based on weekly payments. Pay day 5th June No payment. Application still not even submitted after 3 week. Extra time of 24 hours given for payment to be sent. No payment received. That was the plan, but "trusted" person was disappeared with our BTCs. So now there are no trusted persons for us except moderators. I am still willing to takeover the campaign if you guys ever want to continue. I made this offer a long time ago and it's still valid. We now want to create affiliate campaign with 50% of revenue sharing and 100% automated payouts, but it will take some time to make it up and running. |

if the rumor about the updown connection about goax then dont hope to get paid he still owes me 0.08btc and even i ask some of the member here to point out the scam accusation regarding to his website he still ignored it he didnt even bothered about his site reputation maybe just because he have a lot of money to make a new site and registered it again to the bitcoin foundation to make him a gold member again
sure he paid some people but he is getting too unfair

I also never got confirmed. I signed up in the thread and sent a PM the same day.
48 hours later no word from OP, I removed the ad from my sig space because I don't allow advertising for free in my signature.
My complaint isn't as bad as many others but I also found this service to be questionably run and I advise people to stay away from it.
We said before that we want to limit campaign participators number to 60 and most of the slots was been taken. (so we're stopped to approve anyone who wants to participate). |
