103  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [FZ] Frozen | NoPremine | Rare | Fast Transactions | COMMUNITY TAKEOVER on: January 21, 2014, 11:33:16 PM
Don't understand why this coin isn't more popular.  It had a great launch, no premine, and extremely limited on coins.  Right now it is extremely well priced .00013BTC.
104  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [FZ] Frozen | CPU and GPU | NoPremine | Rare | Fast Transactions | Update Now!!! on: January 21, 2014, 01:07:00 AM
So much hate in these forums.

This coin has taken off quite nicely.  I truly hope someone isn't holding 10% of all coins that can be made but if they are...good for them.

The difficulty continues to climb and the exchange rate seems to follow the reduction in coins and difficulty rise.

The problem is right now there are SO MANY altcoins that it is hard to differentiate between the coins.  I mean you go onto cryptsy and there are so many running down the side that you almost need a cheat sheet to figure out which is which.
106  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [FZ] Frozen | CPU and GPU | No-Premine | Rare | Fast Transactions | Easy To Mine on: December 31, 2013, 03:31:18 PM
Hey guys, new to the scene here but a long time follower.
Just a quick question. Its obvious that this coin will be rare but what happens when the coins are fully mined?
What will keep the network going?

Thanks

Interest.

There are a few coins that are fully mined right now and are doing OK.  By halving the output every so often you delay the onset of no coins, which will be done with this coin as well.  If interest builds in the coin, the difficulty will skyrocket and the coins will be even more limited than they are now.  I hope that is what happens, as having so few individuals owning coin destroys the marketplace.

Just started mining frozen.  Anyone else think that people are gunna be reluctant to adopt this coin because norton thinks the wallet is infected with a virus?  Also noticed the quark logo on the show QR code button on the receive tab.  Coin has great fundamentals, really like that it's rare, CPU only and no premine, just needs a few tweaks.

It has been checked a few times and no virus.  Also, CPU only doesn't exist...people will and HAVE figured out how to use GPUs on this.  It is based on Quark and has a REALLY nice website setup for it right now.

Hoping this coin takes off, only 7,777,777 coins to be made...should be halving the output REALLY soon.  Difficulty not TOO horrible but still pretty high.  I would rather see the coin go to BTC-e instead of cryptsy, but to each their own.

I've got the frozen.conf file correctly named and placed in the Roaming/Frozen/ directory with all the addnode assignments but it will not connect to the network for some reason.

are your ports open?

Yes:

Code:
port=18451

...in the frozen.conf file and I've got the port forwarded to that miner. Works with other coins. Not sure why it isn't working with this one. :/

I am pretty positive the port is 18450 not 18451

You know, I sort of wonder if Artos wants to pull a Satoshi or something, just disappear, and let the coin go where ever. Of course that doesn't help reassure anybody.

I wouldn't think so...as he stated he was going to have his website that did both STEAM and AMAZON within two weeks of joining an exchange.

Had to quit mining for a couple of days to get a few more LTC...will be back by Saturday mining Stablecoin.

We believe the strongest asset a coin can have is active, talented developers. We will be on the forum daily answering questions and resolving issues, as well as helping to grow StableCoin by working behind the scenes to develop and deploy services that will ensure success.

Guessing this part was a lie?  Where are the developers for this coin?  We were promised a store in 2 weeks from market...nothing heard from any developers.  Artos hasn't logged in since the 28th of June.

Hopefully everything is fine with the dev.  I am sticking with it, as it is actually one of the top 5 most profitable coins about 60% of the time...easier to stay with one coin atm.

Seems like the coin is now holding steady at .0001 give or take.  With developer input this coin COULD go much higher but he hasn't even logged in since June 28th.

Going to mine this another five days... Unless Artos responds that is.

So i an beginning to wonder if Artos is gong to let his coin die.  Even a post would assist in drumming up support.
118  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [ANN][SBC] StableCoin ¦¦ A new breed of cryptocurrency ¦¦ v1.2 RELEASED on: June 30, 2013, 03:47:26 AM
Artos needs to post or the coin WILL die.  The store has no updates... The price is dropping like a rock.
119  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [ANN][SBC] StableCoin ¦¦ A new breed of cryptocurrency ¦¦ v1.2 RELEASED on: June 28, 2013, 08:14:26 PM
Where the hell is Artos?  Any updates would assist in HIS coin.  The store should be done next week if we follow his timeline...which means he should be updating us as we would be days away.

Why the hell has the mining hashrate dropped so low?

Where is Artos?
