Will users be able to pay insurance only with DHT tokens? Won’t there be other options?

Dear guest,
yes, insurance will be provided only through the use of DHT tokens. No other options at the moment.
Have a good day

This is interesting concept of insurance of ICO's investments. I was reading from start to catch up with all the questions and answers made so far. What does this mean where it was said insurance for ICO's of our choice ? Does this mean you will manage to run ico's in future or simply will pick some of them and offer insurance for them ?

Dear guest,
thanks for your interest in our project. Thanks to the solid scoring model which has been developed, DeHedge will select a few solid and promising projects which will undergo a forthcoming ICO. And then, for these picked projects/ICO, insurance service will be offered (for an insurance premium).
Hope this clarifies your questions.

Good afternoon. Have you already developed a plan on reducing the number tokens in free circulation?

Good afternoon,

yes, there is indeed a plan about this. All details about the reduction in the number of tokens (with detailed calculation) can be found in the WP in the section 4.1.1 - "Decrease In the Number of Tokens In the Free Circulation".

Have a good day!

How long will project owners wait for their compensation in case of an insurance event?

Dear guest,
it is not the project owners who get compensation in case of insured events, but the investors in ICO projects.
I hope this clarifies your question Smiley

Who will determine the amount of insurance on DeHedge platform? Will it be the insurer or the one that is insured?

Hello,
what exactly do you mean by "amount of insurance" ? If you mean "insurance premium", it will be directly calculated by our scoring model, based on the various analyzed factors.
Hope this answers your question.

Would you have 2FA on your platform? I am very concerned about security of my portfolio.

We also highly value the security of our future investors, and we will obviously offer 2FA authentification on our platform.

Have a good day.

What is DeHedge?

The hedging instrument has been used for centuries to protect investments on the classical financial market.

Hedging is a risk management method used to protect your capital against unfavorable market changes.

DeHedge is a platform that implements one of the types of such protection on the cryptocurrency market.

Just FYI,

Jupiter is in Germany and the Bitforces are in USA. No problem to ship from Germany to USA or other European countries or from USA to EMEA.

115  Economy / Computer hardware / [WTS] Miners are for sale (24x Bitforce 60 and 1x KNC Jupiter 500) on: September 11, 2014, 08:31:44 PM
HI,

I am shutting down my miners and I am wondering if anybody interested to give some BTC for them.

From BFL I bought the MiniRig and it was upgraded to the ASIC. When they delivered they delivered Bitforce units. These units (24 of them) are hosted at Netsolus in USA. I can transfer the contract to your name and you can continuously mine or they can ship it to your address.

The other unit is a Jupiter from KNC. This miner is 500 GH and it is located in Germany.

If you are interested, send me a PM with your offer. I accept BTC, PayPal or Nach Nahme (in Germany) and of course cash Smiley

Thanks

Peter
116  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: gox and the 20 percent payout? on: April 19, 2014, 11:36:49 AM
FWIW it's not at all clear that the law requires the liquidator would sell off the bitcoins and compensate people in yen, or that that's what the liquidator would want to do. This is just something people are pulling out of their arses, especially the "savegox" people who are trying to make some money out of the situation.
Right. The creditors do share in the assets equally, though, and some Bitcoins may have to be converted to dollars to pay off people owed dollars. So a price has to be fixed for conversion purposes. That will probably be the market price of Bitcoin as of the date the bankruptcy commenced.

One of the big questions that people on here haven't been asking is "where did the customer's dollars go?" That should be answerable from bank records, all of which are now accessible by the bankruptcy trustee. There should be a preliminary accounting soon, a real one, not a Mark Karpeles fantasy.

Very likely there will be a "clawback" phase, during which the trustee claws back monies transferred improperly to other parties.

This is a good question. Everyone talks about how btc can be recovered but everyone seems skip the fact they handled usd and euros. Where is the fiat? Obviously they should have much more than the 200 k btc...
117  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: MTgox balance confirmation on: March 19, 2014, 05:11:07 AM
Yes, I requested to transfer all of my money from MTgox. In a normal operation i would not expect to see that money on my account as it should be somewhere between banks and that money should already left MTgox's account.

Since they froze every money transfer and that money never arrived to my account i was expecting to show that money on their website as a non fulfilled transaction.

Anyone else has any similar experience?

The present situation is clearly exceptional, however when Mt.Gox was working reliably (well, sort of...), it was standard practice for them to not show in the account balance money that you requested to withdraw and was stuck in the withdrawal queue. If you had $1000, had requested to withdraw $500 and they were still processing it, your balance would only have shown $500.

So, yes, having a zero balance would have been pretty standard Mt.Gox behaviour if you had requested to withdraw all your money.

Of course, this doesn't actually mean anything under the present circumstances (money supposedly stolen, bankruptcy filing, etc.); just saying that the web site is acting exactly like it did before.

118  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: MTgox balance confirmation on: March 19, 2014, 05:07:39 AM
I am wondering how that could happen? trace bank transfers should be easy enough and that should be much better protected by law.

Mtgox claims their bank was drained also, don't expect it.

119  Bitcoin / Legal / MTgox balance confirmation on: March 19, 2014, 12:40:09 AM
Hi,

Now MTgox is allowing to login and check your balance. I was able to login and i've seen how much BTC is there.

I tried to withdraw USD in November that never arrived to my bank account. As it never arrived to my bank account I am thinking it should show up on the balance page. Although it is not there...

I had a couple of mail exchanges about it with the support desk (when they were still working for MTgox). They said the bank had a limit how much they can transfer per day and my money will be transferred when it'll be the next in the Q... Once again, I never received that money...

So, is this money with the Bank or MTgox? If it is still with MTgox then why it is not on my balance page?

Anyone else has any similar experience?
