Hi QXW

This coin is not somehow alive. This coin is alive, thanks to community,  pool owner Alenevaa and Usukan.

Could be better if pool could run without problems. Alenevaa will fix pool as soon as he can.
If you wanna or someone else want to set up pool, you are welcome.

I don't except any explanations from Alenevaa. He is doing great job.

If you don't trust these "big words", what are you doing here? There is plenty of coin to choose and mine.

Happy mining  Smiley

Valpe

Only one official mining pool and it have been (again) broken long time. a
This note have been there many days without any further information about what is going on and without any estimate how long it takes. Then here in forum peoples talk "big words" how much there is power to develop this extremely super advanced coin but time after time it looks like....<censored>

But one positive thing after years. This coin is still somehow alive. This is nice.

It looks like solo mining is only reliable solution if want mine this coin. I do not anymore understand why peoples are mining in pool what is frequently somehow broken. If can not run reliable pool why do not tell it honestly and stop this play-act. Just send our coins out and stop - or give some trusted information and hones explanation what is going on, this is only way to keep even some reputation. No one shoot if honestly tell that sorry peoples I can not run this pool with this reliability level what it need be.

Also it looks that UTC difficulty adjustment is bit out from optimal or why it looks like continuously bit slow block time.

Then wallet. Most time only 1 - 4 connections. Btw, for me it takes over 1 week to sync from zero. Why this network is so slow for sync? 5 to 15 blocks, then pause and again small amount of blocks and pause... over 2000000 block it takes... (but this I cvan now copy also to other computer (and also keep chain data save for future)

Let's hope there is hope...

Let wallet running and comeback day or two or maybe three  Grin.

Wallet working, its freezing some times. Normal behavior for that wallet. I have noticed that if you have powerful computer almost none freezing.

http://www.presstab.pw/phpexplorer/UTC/nodes.php , there you can find nodes list. Node list should found on this forum also.

Its take time. You could try this bootstrap, its not official.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=727023.msg22640416#msg22640416

Give wallet time to run. After the blockchain is ready, wallet works well.

Valpe

Wallet keeps freezing (not responding) any idea what would cause this?

Answer can be found page 1.

Blockchain takes days to download. Happy downloading and welcome.

Valpe

What is the latest version of the wallet?
104  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [Ultracoin] [Est. Feb 2014] ~ ASIC Resistant & Ultrafast 6 Second Transactions! on: October 07, 2017, 09:28:53 AM
This problem occur after you downloaded blockchain bootstrap from Gawlea?

Valpe

Restart whole computer.

Still doesn't work, this is what happens when i start the wallet

-"Loading block index..." 2-3min
-"Loading wallet..."
-"Rescanning" - and then it gets stuck, i've tried this many times, 30min, 1hour even 2 hours and nothing.

I can only hope there's gonna be be a lite-wallet/electrum someday  Cry

Restart whole computer.

Valpe

Usukan could you please upload some recent blockchain files? (maybe on google drive) i found a blockchain on cryptochainer but it's from 11.03.2016 and it's taking ages to sync  Cry

I can upload a Blockchain Bootstrap from today, but it will take a while to zip it and upload it to mega. It have 1.13 GB (zipped) in size. Will return in here with the link. Cheers!

EDIT: https://mega.nz/#!FDZ3SCQC!-7HE0NfXxtkx2HqnMBJYMSHr_MCExeh8jNB4VEHJaa0

Great!! thanks a lot  Cool

EDIT: um... there's a problem with the wallet, rescan doesn't seem to be working, i have the 1.0.0.0 wallet.I tried both methods, replacing the wallet.dat and trying to import a privkey in debug console.Every time i try that, it doesn't do anything, i left it open for 30min, 1 hour, 2hours, and the wallet just seems to stay stuck.

If i delete the wallet.dat and let the client create a new wallet it works, but i still can't import the privkey, as it stalls  Sad

Privet miner. Idont have rights share it.
You should get over 3 kh/s whit ccminer.

Use -L 2 or -L 3, if I remember right -L 3 works better. Use autotune and you get the best settings to your rig. -i 1 -m 1. Overclock core +110 or more.

Happy mining

I have several old 750ti and you can get with right miner + 4000 kH/s. 4000 H/s

Valpe

Wow, which miner / settings is that please. I think i have tried most miners, but i can only just get 4Kh with 2 x 750tis (with cudaminer-2014-02-28)

UTC has been here for long time and lots of good has happened and some hard times. UTC has always risen and recovery. Thanks to team and community.
Now is very good time buy some UTC

Usukan wrote couple page ago:

"Its not really an announcement but I want to let you know that things are happening in the background for the future of Ultracoin.

We have revived the coin from near death and played with a few small ideas to make UltraCoin more relevant.  These things don't really have what it takes to get UTC in the top 10 again.  We have to get "ahead of the pack" on technology, utility, relevance and future applications of the ideas that crypto has pioneered.  Thats the only way that UltraCoin will survive in the sea of alts and the BTC world.

Our current plan is far more grand than a few new wallets and tweaks - but it will take time and we rely on others developing some groundbreaking technology in the space.  Then we rely on them to come on board with UltraCoin and integrate things as UltraCoin developers. Things could go wrong, get delayed or progress may be suspended.  Nevertheless thats the path we are on at present and rest assured I will make an "announcement" one way or another just as soon as I can.

Cheers - usukan"

If it is not dying, do you have any plans for it ? Cheers

I will hold on and wait, team is still here.

It is and for the long term. Team is still here mate, read the last 2-3 pages and then talk!

Hi Rpbarreto

Probably miner issue. You could try yacminer also. Idont have any AMD gpu's. Only using Nvidia.

Happy mining

Nvidia 1030 is quite good for mining UTC.

  4.9-5.2 kH/s, 28w

Thats nice!

Valpe, one question, the max i could get on my 480 is 4.8kH/s, above that just HWs, but i can get 6.1kH/s if i open 2 miners on it lol (each miner stays on 2.8k to 3.4k but always kinda getting 6.1 total) and no HW, can it be a miner issue?
i'm using cgminer 3.7.2
going to try using sgminer later to see if there is better results

Found this:

Gigabyte GV-N970WF30C0-4GD.

I was getting 8.8-9kh/s in Windows 7 with:  cudaminer
Code:
--algo=scrypt-jane:14 -L 4 -i 1 -l t64x4 -C 1

970 is old, maybe best use old cudaminer with old drivers. You could start installing cuda 6.5 drivers. My 750 ti's is working nice with driver 382.53 and privet and old cudaminer ...getting over 4 kH/s
Your bat file?

http://utc.yacoin.club/index.php?page=gettingstarted

You could try cudaminer  or ccminer. New ccminer 2.2 is good and old cudaminers are also. You card may work with old cudaminer better. Idont remember hash rate, maybe 8-12 kH/s

Happy mining.

Valpe

Anyone have an ideea how much hash rate can I get from my GTX 970 card? Also is there any link to a Nvidia GPU miner and pool? Many thanks!

Thanks mate, i've tried ccminer 2.0 is not working, will try 2.2.

578h/s is for Leo coin with Nf=16

http://cryptomining-blog.com/tag/gtx-1080-ti-hashrate/

It says 578h/s on this web have a look .
