101  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to choose bounty? on: May 12, 2018, 10:31:00 AM
I usually pay attention to how many people are involved into the projects and what kind of people they are. If we talk about a hero and legendary ranks then that means the the project is successful.
102  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you sell right away or wait? on: May 11, 2018, 11:25:03 AM
I decided to hold my bounty reward and I plan on selling it in a month or so because the price of the market in ICO is not that good for making some profit.
103  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to choose bounty? on: May 10, 2018, 12:23:02 PM
To  my mind, following the experince of the successful bounty managers you can avoid the risk of being involved into the ICO projects that will not bring any positive results.
104  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you sell right away or wait? on: May 10, 2018, 12:16:16 PM
Everything depends on what kind of situation happens on the market these days. Looking at the currency exchange I'd have half of my tokens lest on hold for the long term and sell half of them now.
105  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is trend Now? on: May 09, 2018, 05:09:21 PM
Bitcoin price right now.. I think it's hard to know which altcoins or crypto are good to invest, maybe pick from top of CMC
106  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Monitoring of new coins on: May 09, 2018, 05:00:14 PM
I think that hodling will be good only when coins are bought at the lowest possible prices, and if its potential good altcoin
107  Economy / Economics / Re: Why is bitcoin stability important? on: May 09, 2018, 03:44:15 PM
I have been observing the market for a while and found out that the change that happens to the bitcoin affects the value of altcoins and vica verca if the altcoins are unstable it can make the bitcoin go the same way too.
108  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is trading Bitcoin and other alts still profitable? on: May 09, 2018, 03:31:21 PM
Absolutely, does not matter whther we talk about altocoins or bitcoins, both cryptocurrencies are economically efficient, and you just need to follow up the market position to make sure you do the right thing.

112  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [VIA] ★ Viacoin ★ ~ the future of digital currency ~ ★ on: June 23, 2015, 04:00:45 AM
I think that VIA has an advantage in that it is already gaining upward momentum.
Agreed, especially since the 'new high' alarm on my laptop woke me (and my wife) up a 4am this morning Cheesy lol

i was the idiot that bought it at 65-whatever but the line looks so nice

edit:  i guess that's the going rate anyway
113  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [VIA] ★ Viacoin ★ ~ the future of digital currency ~ ★ on: June 23, 2015, 01:15:42 AM
So I'm holding VIA obviously atm but I'm also watching Greece and I'm thinking that if they default and begin exiting the Euro it could potentially give BTC a price boost.
Since VIA and can only be traded against BTC and is lesser known to the general population at the moment (LiteBit.eu does not count) a sharp rise in BTC would basically crush my position I'm taking at the moment.

Am I being rational or do you think the price of VIA will rise in proportion to BTC? Or perhaps even exceed it (which I hope)?

Opinions please Smiley

When BTC is doing well a lot of it definitely flows into alts.  I think that VIA has an advantage in that it is already gaining upward momentum, so it should see a huge rise before BTC does.
114  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [KEY] KeyCoin | Fair Launch | 10/24 Update: KeyTrader v2 - Windows + Mac on: June 19, 2015, 05:49:55 PM
I've uploaded my current Keycoin peers.dat and added it to my previous post.
Hopefully anyone who can't connect will get some connections by using this.

http://www.mediafire.com/download/4b8q6l0yyejm4v4/peers.dat

Download that, and when you delete your peers.dat in the above instructions, replace it with this one before you restart your Keycoin wallet.

yetiripper, did you ever get connections?

I did!  It was a miniupnpc issue so I put it on a different computer where I don't have a fragile dev environment.  Your list of nodes was better than what I had before so I switched to that too.  Thanks for the help!

Also, has the dev shown up anywhere?  I was working with him/them to get a new KeyOS put together, and I basically finished except it's missing KeyTrader.  I think KeyTrader is what made things fall apart, but it wasn't really that good anyway.  If it had better features, and was incorporated into the wallet that would solve a lot of problems.  It shouldn't be necessary to keep coins deposited at Bittrex.

I have some trading bots of my own and it's easy as hell to add similar things into the wallet since I have the source, but it's hard to tell if I would be wasting my time or not.

The "scam" stuff doesn't phase me but there's not enough peers on the network for my comfort.
116  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] GridPay | Gate Keeper Multi-Platform Node.js wallet | Merchant API | NFC ! on: June 05, 2015, 05:42:28 PM
how about if i compare grid to horse shit surrounded by flies?

pretty much equal, no??

That would mean horse shit is 5 times more valuable than ROS, and it probably doesn't have syncing issues.
117  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] GridPay | Gate Keeper Multi-Platform Node.js wallet | Merchant API | NFC ! on: June 05, 2015, 05:32:51 PM
4 BTC support at 1 sat, wtf, so basically all support is now gone  Cry  Cry  Cry

If you put that into context... 4 BTC is, what, 5 times the volume of ROS?

It's also 14% of ROS's entire market cap lol
118  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] GridPay | Gate Keeper Multi-Platform Node.js wallet | Merchant API | NFC ! on: June 01, 2015, 06:55:42 PM
The chart is so weird.  I have to remind myself I'm looking at the 10m interval and not the 1d or something.  Are the bots on crack?
119  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] GridPay | Gate Keeper Multi-Platform Node.js wallet | Merchant API | NFC ! on: June 01, 2015, 01:16:40 AM
