I think I'll have to unfortunately resign from this campaign. I've only done 10 posts so far and probably can't make the posts under the campaign rules before my end date ![Cry](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cry.gif) .

It's easy to buy coins. You're probably just making it more difficult for yourself. You can buy coins within ten minutes on the marketplace here for many different forms of payment.
Are you able to give any examples of this? I hope I am making it difficult for myself and I'm missing something that I perhaps shouldn't have missed. What do you need examples of? Types of payment? I've seen people accerpt alsorts here. Western Union, UKash, Skrill, bank transfers, even online top up credit cards and other e-vouchers. Take a look over there and see what you can find.

It wouldn't surprise me if bitcoin booms in some eastern European countries, especially with immigrants sending money back home to their families etc. Could really help people avoid bank fees.

The more I read about this guy the more I like him. Patrick Byrne is a true believer ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) He is and he's doing his bit to promote bitcoin to others and spread adoption which is great.

This 'human shield' excuse is just nonsense. They're bombing civilians and using this as cowardly propoganda to justify their war crimes. The sad thing is, a lot of people seem to believe it or are on the side of Isreal.

Why does the blockchain.info app not work anymore, or are you getting confused with Apple removing it? If you can manage to get a blockchain app working I recommend it as you can synch it with your account and have acces to your funds on the go.

Yup, this headline is pure bs. It's like the opposite of FUD. Is there a word for that? Regardless I don't think amazon is at the point where it's losing money by not accepting bitcoin, nor do I think many people are buying coins just to spend them to support crypto.
The opposite of FUD would be DUF. That made me chuckle ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) . The title of this made me read it but after reading it I have determined that the it was a complete waste of my time. There is no proof that Bitcoin had anything to do with this and likely didn't.
Same. It's just click bait. I guess the op just likes trolling as he knows everyone here is waiting for Amazon to announce theyre going to accept btc.

Does this offer valid for buyer outside US?
That's what I'd like to know. The price mentioned on twitter gives it out as a max $150 dollar saving. This is bad in the short term for Bitcoin. Because Dell uses Coinbase(instead of accepting and keeping Bitcoin directly), coinbase will need to eventually sell the BTC to cover the USD they gave to Dell. This is why the price is dropping. Then people start to panic and sell as well.
But in order to spend BTC people need to buy if first, so basically there's no real "bad impact" to BTC's price here... I believe only people that had BTC prior or from early days will be willing to spend them there, people who do not own any BTC aren't going to jump through heaps and hoops and various banking fees to deposit money so they can buy BTC and then buy the Dell products. The 10% difference would likely even out and it would be no different than buying it directly with fiat. seems you are still on the fiat band wagon. you care more about daily FIAT price then you care about bitcoins usefulness as its own currency. i think its time you cashed out and moved on with your fiat life or you will forever be hating on every new merchant that loves bitcoin People can care both about bitcoin and also the price. Some people have invested heavily in it so it's ok to be concerned with the fiat price.

That is quite a surreal site. Seems like something out of a disaster movie. I really hope I don't end up flying in one of those. ![Sad](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/sad.gif) I'm particularly scared that this one might end up as part of a shiny new plane. And until it crashes, nobody would be none the wiser: ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=http%3A%2F%2Fs4.postimg.org%2Fndecgmlrh%2Fegg.jpg&t=663&c=lJ-jR8SUL-RzuQ) I'm fairly sure those planes will be scrap now. I very much doubt you can patch it up nor would it be safe to do so.

Lol. Pitbul seems to me like the type of guy that just throws his money into things without doing much of his own research as long as some investor type can pursuade him otherwise. I think this probably happens with a lot of the celebrity investors who just have business managers who point them in the right direction.

Is there really that much difference between them? I bet most couldn't notice the difference between comparable chips.

Faucets arent really worth it unless you take advantage of the referral or something else to give you an edge.
I rather be at some gambling site all day instead.
Even with referrals they're still not worth it.

Surely you're aware of paper wallets?

In america they'll certainly pass the laws quickly when the right amount of lobbying or money gets thrown at it.

It's still decentralised. Anyone who thinks differently doesn't know what decentralisation is.

You should edit the op and put the source in otherwise it just looks like spam and in the wrong forum

Haha. I don't trust either of them judging by those pictures to be honest.

carrying the blockchain on a mobile phone is not what most people would consider as portable, just chewing up to much space. Is there anyway for 'average Joe' to carry a shortened block chain or transactions of the chain without the need to have a degree in computer science?
Why the average Joe will contain the whole blockchain on his phone ? We have online wallets for mobile use. Its like having a few notes in your wallet for daily use. Some more can be kept at your computer's hosted wallet. That is like having some more notes in your almirah for weekly/monthly use. The rest should be kept at cold paper wallet. That is your bank balance. There are a few wallets that don't need to download the blockchain, and like BitCoinDream just said phone apps work fine. I'm sure there will be more of these options in the future too.
