1a. 1b. 2.
Can you verify that you are trying to load ".keys" file? .keys file should be opened with no problem. There is no errors or something in fcn daemon. set_log 3 works fine, that's fine. If you will have some issues you will be able to see this issues at set_log 2 level.

FantomCoin FCN hashrate = 630kh/s makes it the 2nd largest CryptoNight network after the Monero XMR.
Two issues. 1. SimpleWallet 2.0 is broken. It can't open an old wallet file. Old SimpleWallet still working fine. 2. Daemon have problem with a messages. If you start daemon with --log-level 0 option window is started black with no messages at all. You can't use set_log 0-2, nothing happens, but set_log 3 works but give a lot of debug output. If you start daemon without options at all everything is fine. 1. we tested old wallet opening and it was fine. Please, provide more info. 2. set_log is to set log level, there is no problem.

Sweet. Congrats on the HF, all seems to be working well. Mining both XMR and FCN on Minergate. Great energy saver. Any reason I would be unable to mine XMR/XDN/FCN once XDN HF is complete? Did I read FCN GUI or was that my vivid imagination? ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) Liking this XDN - FCN Partnership, the team is doing well! After the XDN HF, in theory, you will be able to mine xmr/xdn/fcn, but this is a pool and/or miner feature, not coin feature. FCN GUI is not your vivid imagination. Soon we will provide it. I think this or next week.

yes that was my question too. monero devs didnt said anything about the merged mining!!!!
Yes, we should tell them, and we should tell to Monero community! But this info is urgently important to the current pools, not other coins itself. There is no change in Monero, there are major changes in FCN and XDN. Then can you clarify this because it looks a bit of an oxymoron. Just a few posts ago Papa_Lazzarou wrote: "How will you convince all those monero miners to switch to merge mining monero+xnd? With the 0.03BTC worth of daily emission?" DNote replied:"Because it is free for them. They will have a deal: to help XDN with no cost for them and to receive few satoshi every 4 min OR not to do that and not receive few satoshi every 4 min" From the conversation above it looked like it was important the participation of monero miners in the merged mining, to increase the hashrate of both XDN and FCN. But now it doesn't matter if miners miners don't know about the merged mining? I'm mining XMR right now - and would certainly/happily switch to merged mining with XDN and FCN if given the option to... Looks like https://minergate.com now have FCN+XMR mining support.

Looks like https://minergate.com/ is the first pool with fcn+xmr merged mining support. Thank you, guys. FantomCoin FCN hashrate is rising. We will observe the blockchain for awhile before XDN HF. We will upload FCN binaries soon. Thank you miners. Can FCN2.0 read the old FCN wallets? Yes, it should read the old FCN wallets. Binaries will be very soon, sorry for the delay.

We want to verify that everything is working well. We need a bit more time to verify FCN network HF was done properly and we will see first FCN+XMR blocks. After that, we will release XDN HF source code. This should happen this week. Sorry for the delay, but this is very important to have everything done properly. Thank you.

I'm not C programmer.
The fact is you did some huge bullshit with FCN. Most people use FCN 2.0 but rest still use old FCN. And FCN<>FCN 2.0.
So I expect the same as ETH/ETC problem.
I can't use coins in my wallet any more, its piece of shit now.
Definetely will sell rest off coin ASAP and close all FCN related activity.
You are a bit nervous. I bet 99.999% of network will switch to FCN 2.0. This week we will introduce fcn2.0 binaries, also wait for the GUI. You are free to do anything you want with your FCN, but remember, when you will sell it, you will sell FCN 2.0 ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) And if you are transferring it, you are transferring FCN 2.0 ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) This is a freedom of choice.

Where is NO new daemon. Where are some C sources there.
I couldn't compile it because of some errors.
... what errors? any log? what is your Os?

FCN hardfork! Block 1297000 1eabad37180f519977f4124cc6a6000f932382ba15cbf742ed1e97ade56ca770 We are on block 1297048 now, 48 blocks after HF. No issues, lets give it some time.

Less than 300 blocks by the way.

Hashrate is rising, blocks are going faster, 340 blocks before HF.

Linuxoids only need a sources. Other guys wait for a binaries.
BTW, you told a lot of good words but still didn't give any key how hardfork will work.
What are you going to fork exactly?
Daemon software? Or blockchain?
There will be a hardfork with some new blockchain settings and new mining features. Default Effective txs median (default block size with no reward penalty) will be 100kb. And a new type of block with Monero merged mining support. After 1297000 block there will be reborn of FCN. Old blockchain will continue to the new one, all coin that exists in the current FantomCoin network will keep its existence after the HF.

Hello, could you tell me please, how are you going to implement FCN hardfork exactly? I mean step-by-step. Nobody still have you new daemon. SO how you will do hardfork if everybody will refuse you new software? Make new blockchain branch (ie new coin)? Hello, Yes. FCN hardfork announce was about 2 weeks ago (check this topic start). FCN source code with hardfork released about 72h before hf Major FCN services contacted and notified about 72h before hf Hf should be smooth and gentle. That is why first we do it on FCN and after on XDN. But it should be smooth and gentle. If anything will go wrong, we will fix it or help to fix it. We will not make new chain, we will continue fcn chain under the xdn-project flag and we think (hope, sure) hf will go smooth and gentle. 1296531 block. Hf is on 1297000. 469 blocks, ~ 469 min, ~7,8h. Thank you.
