101  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: My advice: A gambling addict brother. on: July 23, 2024, 05:06:03 PM
I feel pity for your neighbor that is giving the gamble addict supports all these while and he is gambling with the funds. It might be true or not that your neighbors brother wants to use the money to set up a business but that doesn't mean that your neighbor shoukd not be nervous.

I will not advice anyone not to give a helping hand to his siblings because we are the only ones that they can look up to for help. Tell your neighbor to give his brother the last doubt and only give him half of the money, if he sees that his younger brother really started the business, he can give him the other part.
102  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Should I quit playing slots? on: July 23, 2024, 03:56:53 PM
Losing 200 usd in a session does not mean that the game was rigged, it shows that you are not lucky and you were suppose to stop playing after your first $100 lost but you didn't stop there rather you deposited another $100. This shows that you are not gambling for fun because you have used more than the amount of money that you can afford to lose.

Nobody will be happy if he losses $200 just like that with playing for a very long time and that is why no matter the amount of money that is invlove losing is not always our choice because nobody loves to be a loser. Only gamble for fun so that you don't need to feel cheated after losing to the casino.
103  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When you're winning it's fun but when you're losing it's addictive right? on: July 23, 2024, 08:01:33 AM
Gambling for fun does not mean only when you are winning, losing is part of it. Of course, you know that there is no one that can keep on winning and that is why gambling is different from studying. You study hard and come out with good graders, but in gambling you gble more, you lose more.

Addiction is when you don't have self control over your gambling activities and you do all sort of things just to gamble. Gambling with the amount of money that you can afford to lose is a way to limit your losses and if you continue like that it will become fun.
104  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: July 22, 2024, 04:28:36 PM
It's so sad that even a big team like Barcelona can't even afford to sign Nico Williams, how about Mbappe? it's impossible for them to sign Mbappe, they might only able to buy Mbappe's hair lol.

Barcelona always thinks about how to recruit new players. They don't fix their financial problems. Barcelona has many unsolved problems. But, Laporta is always thinking to sign a new player when his club's financial is still critical. It's terrible to see that Barceona's president is not even caring with his club's financial.

Barcelona can still recruit the new player. They just need to use the last economic lever, as in the picture below.
Rumors circulated that Barcelona, who insisted on recruiting Williams, wanted to take back the loan. Whether this is true or not means their financial condition will get worse and the settlement will take longer. Laporta has really damaged Barcelona image, it could even be said that Barcelona has now lost its entity as a stable club. This club's finances could continue to be bad if it is not addressed, Frankie De Jong and Lewandowski are the 2 players with the highest salaries so it is not surprising why Frankie De Jong doesn't want to leave because there he can get a big salary. and doesn't care about Barcelona's finances.
It means that he is not a good president and should not be in charge of the club anymore before he ruin the club's prestige. How will you be thinking of having world class players and you are not thinking of strengthen the clubs financial state, or does he think it is to buy players without proper financial management.

De Jong salary is not the problem to Barcelona's financial setback but it is Larpota that is the cause, if not he should have known what to do to protect the club from financial problems. I want to see how they will bring Williams over to Barcelona when they don't have enough.
105  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can't gambling addiction also be positive? on: July 22, 2024, 03:07:26 PM
Addiction is harmful to one's health directly or indirectly which makes it not to be in the positive side but negative side because you are losing money all the time and you cannot control yourself to stop gambling. People that can benefit from the positive side of gambling are not addicted to gambling.

Addiction can ruin a gamblers life or even lead the gambler to taking his own life due to frustration, poverty and abandonment by family members. There is nothing positive that can come out from gambling addiction. You lose, your money, sense of thinking and maybe your loved ones.
106  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: July 22, 2024, 02:31:03 PM
We are entering the era of the Premier League with a new format, young players as the successors. Haaland, Garnacho, Rashford, Palmer, Foden, Saka, Jackson, Trossard, Hojlund and several other players have become new icons to show the concept of the Premier League in their era.

Interesting conditions. These young players have been trusted to appear in the country or in the main team. Even their grades are fantastic. I think right now the team management is starting to try to build a foundation for the long term. They are starting to change their minds, they do not bring in many old players who will expire. It seems that it will save a little on the expense of buying players. Like Man United's transfer to Leny Yoro, he is 18 years old and the price is fantastic in my opinion. But I saw Yoro's debut he looked quite impressive.
Watching football closely you will observe that there's a gradual transition into a new era going on currently especially within Europe, and soon theses young players will be the faces we are going to know in any of these leagues, they are going to serve as pace setters for the new era and at same time the future of these teams because they are in for long term looking at their age and the contract been signed by some of them. One aspect of this new wave that interest me the most is how this new young talents are able to keep it together at all levels, both club wise and in their various national team too.
For these young players to display such quality performance when playing with old players on the pitch it means that they will be more than superstars when they are matured in football because they started having the experience very young.

Young players are what most club are targeting because they can play for long and form a strong bond together whereby when they are on the field, they will have a good ball work and score easily. They are full of strength and eager to show the world what they gat in them. I think that these young players will soon outshine the old one.
107  Economy / Speculation / Re: Buy the DIP, and HODL! on: July 22, 2024, 11:16:18 AM
I would be careful if you are expecting bitcoin's performance or long-term viability is connected with politics.

Sure, there can be some advantages in terms of having politicians seeming to be on the side of bitcoin rather than fighting against it, but any of us might also get mislead if we start to place too much faith in politicians and/or various regulatory outcomes.. whether we are referring to the USA or to El Salvador or any other country.  Sure it is nice that some governments (or some politicians) are not fighting against bitcoin, yet bitcoin surely is not dependent upon politicians and regulations and there might even be some conflicts of interest or even some ways in which politicians and/or regulations that appear to be aligned with bitcoin are not aligned with bitcoin.. which surely many of us even have trouble agreeing upon what is bitcoin or what are the various purposes (and/or utility aspects) of bitcoin,

It's not like the politicians who are against Bitcoin do not believe in it's potential, although there are still ignorant ones who are naive when it comes to the knowledge about it but there are some who are aware  of it's potential and how it could be benficial for both the rich and common man but then, since they can't control or influence the market like the do with the Apex banks hence the opposition of the project.

I come from a country where politicians seize an opportunity with different ways during election campaign periods just to get the heart of voters, and could even go to the extent of accepting the bitcoin they discriminated just to buy the heart of bitcoin enthusiasts, but then kudos to the genuine ones who strongly stand behind the project without any hidden agenda, however the majority is corrupt and I'll barely put my trust in any politician.

With or without politicians support bitcoin still there, we see good developments happen on bitcoin even if lots of them avoid to support it. Its just some of them of them like El Salvador just see its potential. But there are other aspiring President just want to ride the hype since there main intention is to gather massive support to their voters.

People should not look at political events as a basis for their decisions to see if there's a price growth will happen to bitcoin. Also to crazy to see that past shooting incident where there are people discuss about if bitcoin price would go dump since Trump has been shot. Price development will always depends on the people who support also acquire it and not those official who's not really serious on their approach on bitcoin.
I don't know why some people are thinking wrongly on what influences bitcoin price, how will someone think that because Trump was shot bitcoin price will dip, is bitcoin price in Trump's hand or has the power to control bitcoin. In the beginning when bitcoin was out in the market a lot of government kicked against it and went as far as Banning it because they feel it is in their power to control it and they wanted bitcoin to fade away.

Unknown to the government that they cannot control bitcoin because it is beyond their power, China was number one country who thought that they are God to bitcoin but bitcoin proved all of them wrong and she continue growing in adoption and in value.

Currently, these politicians have seen that bitcoin is here to stay because many people and institutions are showing high interest in bitcoin and that is why these so called politicians are now using bitcoin as a means to win the citizens heary to vote for them during their campaign. Imagine Biden that was against bitcoin all these while has changed and claims he loves bitcoin in his campaign.

Nothing the government have to impact on bitcoin price value, because whatever they do will not have any significant on bitcoin price. If you cannot beat them, you join them is what most governments are doing now on bitcoin.
108  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2024/25 Season on: July 22, 2024, 10:53:13 AM
Yes, maybe if Arsenal only focused on the Premier League, Arsenal would have the opportunity to win the Premier League trophy because for several seasons they have always failed to become champions in the EPL. Indeed, if you look at the tight competition in the UCL season that has just ended, of course there be many strong clubs like Manchester City in the 2023 season. 2024 who failed to advance to the final. and Arsenal will certainly have the potential to face difficulties when competing in the UCL 2024-2025.
It's hard for all clubs to start, continue and finish a season with only one target to focus on. Because life is uncertain and a season is long enough with so many uncontrollable, unexpected factors that force clubs, coaches and players have to try to play as best as possible in most of their matches and have to adjust their targets, focuses with time.

So they usually start a season with multiple competitions and have to adjust their targets, narrow them down through a long season. Arsenal will have to face with and beat many strong teams in Premier League and Champions League. Their more realistic target to win a trophy in a new season is Premier League where they ended two latest seasons as a runner-up and can step up to a higher position for a champion next season.
Yes, you are right, it is not easy for every club to achieve their expected targets even though they only focus on one competition, like Tottenham last season where they only focused on the Premier League because they did not play in the Champions League, in fact they still had difficulty winning the Premier League title. Even though at the start of the season he seemed to consistently win, as did Arsenal, he still had to perform as well as possible in the Champions League because this is a prestigious competition even though his target was to win the Premier League title.

I believe Arsenal can go further in the Champions League and also try as hard as possible in the Premier League, the most important thing is that Mikel Arteta can always overcome existing mistakes without having to feel pressured because Manchester City will always remain their main competitor. I have seen in the last 2 seasons actually Manchester City is not much different from Arsenal, as long as this club remains focused, then they can break Man City's dominance.
A club can use one point to win the title, so it is not about how close the points are but how to stay focus in order for you to take advantage of your rival defeat and win the title, which is what City always patiently wait for when they see Arsenal topping the league last season and last two seasons.

If Arsenal does not have that winning mentality, it will be difficult for them to win the title next season. Manchester city already have that winning mentality and that is why you see that towards the end of the season, that is when they will become stronger than before to enable them not lose any of the or matches but to win all.
109  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling for fun and not a way of making money on: July 22, 2024, 10:05:52 AM
Gambling should always be a fun activity when you are having a boring time or meant to fill your free time without putting any hopes or expectations on winning. One of the reasons is because obviously I think it is a fact that there is no certainty that can guarantee us to be able to win at the end of the session because gambling is always about the possibility of winning or losing which we can never determine ourselves or meaning that no matter how much hope and dedication you have to pursue victory, if you are unlucky, you will definitely lose.

For me gambling is nothing more than an activity of profit - profit which is the reason why gambling cannot and should not be used as a place to earn because as many cases have occurred that a gambler will only experience a lot of disappointment when they try to make gambling a place to earn.
Agreed, it's an activity that should be done during free time and not working time, Gambling while one is busy with jobs will always make the gambler losses more money on the bets. When one is less busy and bored he or she can still think of gambling meanwhile they must have free money also. As they have free time they should also have free money as well. These days a lot of gamblers are beginning to know that gamble is a activity that's done ones a while just to stay safe from addiction and more losses.
When someone is busy with activities of employment job like civil service job the person will reduce gambling activities and more concentration will be going towards that of his job but when someone is jobless it's when the person will all this gambling new websites as it duty to discover a platform of gambling that gives bonus, so it's job that reduces the activities of someone in gambling not to be addicted, being addicted with gambling is basically base on you are free and their is no serious job to engage yourself that is another thing that causes addiction and not be addicted with gambling
Whoever is busy with work will not have time to gamble because he will be stressed out all the time and he might not even think of gambling because he will prefer to rest after a tidious day at work. I'm using myself as an example, there was this job that I got sometime ago which made me not to have time for myself as the job eats up all my time. I only gamble on Sundays because I don't go to work and I do that because of the weekend matches since I love watching football.

It is gamblers that don't have what they are doing and are always free that will want to gamble often and that is when they will have the mindset to use gambling as a source of income. After sometimes, they will become addicts to gambling.
110  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: July 22, 2024, 09:20:07 AM
He cannot fully fill Mbappe's void, but he is still one of the best options. Wing players are very valuable for Europe's biggest teams. The fact that Napoli will sell Osimhen due to his high transfer fee brings him to the top among the candidates. If he is transferred for PSG, he will be one of the most useful players. Let's see what will happen
PSG will always be the top club in Ligue One, moreover it's generally referred as the farmer's league where in the scenario, we get to watch an elite club dominate and win the league in a row for over a decade. PSG will not fumbled simply because Kylian Mbappe exited the club, Luis Enrique is present to ensure that does not happen.

Rumors flying about PSG tabling interests for Napoli frontline, Victor Osimhen, it will be Osimhen to PSG will make up for the vacant space left by the Frenchman. Kylian Mbappe is huge loss for Les Parisiens but they're not here to relent but channel dimensional forces towards making up for his replacement.
A new player will take over Mbappe responsibility and he will do well but not compared to Mbappe because he is the best in PSG. PSG should be happy that they don't have any rival in Ligue1, if not the exit of Mbappe would have affected their performance. But since they don't have any rival, they will still win the league without Mbappe.

If Osimhen can move to PSG successfully, it will be good to both PSG and Osimhen because he will play with his all his heart and passion to see that he is the talk of the club just like what he did in Napoli when they won the title, but I don't think that Napoli will sell him to PSG.
111  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Rich or poor gambler, who should risk more? on: July 22, 2024, 08:45:22 AM
A rich or poor gambler will run at loss if they are gambling to make profit and no one is exempt from losses. The difference is that a poor man will lose the little that he has and get broke while the rich man will lose all he has and get broke because they wager with different amount.

I think you underestimate people. Not every gambler is so dumb and desperate in wish to win huge. Both poor and rich wont bet their last money. Or I dont believe that poor man is in such a need of money, that he would gamble with his last one. I believe (maybe I just have a huge hope in people) that both of them are smart gamblers. As to stupid, reckless and addictive gamblers - those people dont have nationalities, nor they can be divided by their wealth.
Since we all have different taste when it comes to gambling, we can always ay based on our urge and interest to make quick money. Gambling is quite profitable but not to everybody which is why whether we are rich or not,we don't bet in the same way or pattern. Our love to bet and make money is quite different just like every other person. The most important thing we need to do is to make sure we regulate the way we gamble and stay disciplined so we don't have to end up losing after our greed and urge to make quick money from gambling which is obvious that the money we intend to make is someone else lost fund.
Gambling responsible and have a gambling budget will be a good practice, because it will make you not gamble excessive even when you are not chasing your losses. However, those that gamble for profit are the ones that will risk more because they will not be able to control their emotions and will keep on gambling without knowing when to quit.

If you are rich or poor gambler when you don't know the right time to stop gambling, it will lead to more losses. This is why you should have a time limit for your gambling activities so that when the time elapses, you stop immediately.
112  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Unnecessary reasons why people dislike Bitcoin. on: July 22, 2024, 07:31:15 AM
The fact is that those that hate bitcoin lack the knowledge of bitcoin potentials and they have been brainwashed by people, especially the government because they are the ones that comes on air to start criticism on bitcoin that it is used by illicit activities as if fiat is not the currency that has the highest illegal activity records but the government will keep it secret.

While some folks as so sceptical to accept new technology but prefer to stay old fashioned in fiat simply because that is what they have being using since they were young.
113  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ UEFA Euro 2024 in Germany ⚽ - Qualifiers➡Group Stage➡1/8➡QF➡HF➡FINAL on: July 21, 2024, 09:37:38 PM
It is doubtful that Guardiola will undertake to coach the England national team. Firstly, there he will not be able to endlessly change players, spending billions until he gets the desired squad and secondly, although Southgate did not win anything, he raised the bar quite high. Therefore, for Guardiola, the likelihood of failure will be very high. He will never take such a risk, no matter how much he sings about “new challenges.”

I don't also expect Guardiola to take over either. Why would he leave Manchester City at the moment? I believe he might leave in a couple of years but not right now without saying anything before.

Southgate's football is the thing that is very bad and boring to watch.  Sad  But the player quality was so high that England still made it to the finale. Southgate set the bar quite high indeed for the next coach.

By the way there has been some changes in FIFA Men's Ranking after Euro 2024 ended. Spain have gained 5 places thanks to the Euro trophy they got and captured 3rd place. Argentina are still 1st while France are right behind.

https://inside.fifa.com/fifa-world-ranking/men

At the moment, the situation is that Guardiola is leaving in the summer of 2025. This is due to the fact that City is accused of cheating and a decision on this case will be made at the beginning of 2025 (accordingly, City may fall into the championship / fined / deprived of Eurocups / receive a transfer ban - none of the options will suit Guardiola).
But the club owner said that the issue has not yet been resolved and he is sure that Guardiola will stay, apparently he is counting on a positive outcome in his confrontation with the Premier League, personally, I hope that he is wrong.
Meaning he is leaving City due to the issues on ground not that he is leaving willingly from his heart. If this is true he is saving his prestige from being messed up. It is good that he runs away before the issues is taken up to avoid any consequences that it will bring.

If he leaves will he be free from his action since he is no longer in Premier league that is only what can save him. It means that City might face a big challenge in the near future.
114  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League 2023/24 Season on: July 21, 2024, 09:09:07 PM
Manchester United should be among the favorite team to win win the Europa League if they perform well with their new signings and if Ten Hag use his young players well than using all these old players he have in his squad and some overrated players.

Let’s not forget Tottenham, AS Roma, and FC Proto, they can also be among the favorites to win the Europa League because they are also not small to win the Europa League because they are also rated almost close to Manchester United.
Ten Hag must also make good use of the old players at Manchester United now, because the new players also need a little adaptation and adjustment with the other players when they are in one squad for all matches. This means that every player is useful and should not be underestimated, especially as Ten Hag himself must have great determination next season in order to win the European League trophy and also his own domestic league. However, as you said, other teams like the ones you mentioned could also be favorites to win the Europa League trophy next season because they are not weak teams either.
It's important to understand that the old players were never the problem for Manchester United, it will be unfair if the most part of the blame is pushed to them just at once because new signings are coming to probably replace them. Whenever a team is performing poorly, there are usually a number of factors leading to that,so it will not be just fine blaming all on the players alone without looking into other circumstances that may be surrounding the team. At This point because much have been said about him, it's very possible he will be determined than he was last season to getting a better performance but ten hag should still work on other things and not just buying players.
I hope so because Manchester united have given him all the support he needs to see that he comes up with a better performance next season because last season was a mess on a big club like united to finish at 8 position on the table.

I will blame both the coach amd the players last season and no one is exempted, but now that new players have arrived it is going to make the team stronger in all angle because United have a defensive problem but that has been fixed, a new striker was also bought. It will be a relieve next season for Ten Hag if he knows how to play his card well.
115  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: July 21, 2024, 07:36:33 PM
There is only one weak point of Arsenal in my opinion that I have monitored since I knew and became a fan of the English Premier League. What is it, a champion mentality and it lies in their players. After the Henry era, there are no more typical players who have a champion mentality at Highbury which has now changed its name to Emirates.
Arteta may be aware and next season Arteta will try to fix this weakness so that competition with Manchester City, Chelsea, Manchester United and Newcastle can be overcome.
Improving mental weaknesses to become champion will always be difficult for any coach, but that doesn't mean I doubt Arteta's ability in this matter. However, I just have doubts because there are many strong rivals in the Premier League currently, such as some of the teams you have mentioned, who will continue to be stronger next season. Manchester City, Chelsea, Manchester United and Newcastle will try to appear more dominant next season from the start of the season so that Arsenal, who want to improve their mentality, will always be put under heavier pressure every season.
The fact is that Arsenal does not have difficulties leading the league at some point in time and I don't think that it use to be pressure on them in the beginning of the season to mid-season because they are still fresh legs. The problem do occur when they are too engaged in matches back to back that is when they will be on pressure and lose focus.

I hope that they will have a high level of winning mentality next season, and know how they will cope on keeping their consistency no matter how tight their match schedules will be in all competitions so that they can win EPL.
116  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: July 21, 2024, 06:59:43 PM
I think Napoli isn't serious about selling Osimhen at all, it's obvious that they are going to ask more and more, like if PSG said 150, they would have said 175, they are just not willing to sell. I think it's time for PSG to start thinking about some other team. This will cause trouble for Napoli too, Osimhen will be upset about the situation, and he will probably be "injured" for many parts of the season, and in the football world if a player says they are injured, you have to keep them resting, they could just say their leg is pulling, you can't exactly find what it is, so you have to let them rest, it's a must, player may decline to play, they could just simply not play.
I agree with you that Napoli does not want to let go of Osimhen but they are just creating awareness on the media to pull PSG legs and any other club that wants to show interest on him. Because assuming they are ready to let go of him, they would have accepted to sell him to PSG but it shows that they are not sure of what they want.

Osimhen does not want to be with them anymore, maybe they cannot tell him to his face and that is why they are using price to scare PSG away from him so that let it look to Osimhen that it isn't their fault of not letting him go. Let's see how long this game will last till transfer window would close.
117  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Do you agree with this Bitcoin price analysis? on: July 21, 2024, 05:26:08 PM
Bitcoin price is hard to predict because no one knows if by 2030 the price of bitcoin will reach 300k or not because there are a lot of circumstances that can affect bitcoin price. But there is a high tendency that bitcoin price will continue going up overtime due to her volatile nature and the rate of adoption.

Anyone that is telling you about bitcoin price in future is only speculating because we cannot use past records to make conclusions about the future. The volatile nature of bitcoin will reduce when a lot of people have adopted bitcoin and it will not be as high as before.
118  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: July 21, 2024, 04:51:03 PM
Maybe now Barcelona is not yet able to compete with Real Madrid for the La Liga trophy, but if the Barcelona squad starts to find its best performance, Real Madrid will face a big threat from Barcelona in dominating La Liga.

Predictably, Madrid may have quality players and have proven this season. They have many star players with predictably guaranteed quality.
But you have to remember Leverkusen in Germany. The beginning of their season was without a prediction of a champion. They are without many star-quality players. But Xabi was able to change the prediction.  They can perform well and win. Barcelona may be able to imitate Xabi. With a fairly difficult financial condition, it is the best option. It may be different, but there are always surprises that cannot be predicted precisely in football.
One thing you should understand is that Bundesliga is not Laliga where Munich was not inform and they were having coaching problems. Real Madrid is not just a champion in Spain but in the whole Europe without Mbappe and now they have Mbappe in their team. Real Madrid does not care if they did not win Laliga because their main focus is on UCL. Laliga will be a bonus to them.

Barcelona only have a financial challenge which made them handicap to sign the players of their choice that will strengthen the club's performance and make them equal to the task of being rivals to Real Madrid in Laliga. I am not that happy that Barcelona is facing this problem because only Real Madrid will dominate the league and it will not be that interesting compared to when both Real Madrid and Barcelona are equal.
119  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Would you cashout or wait for the game to conclude? on: July 21, 2024, 03:53:30 PM
~~
This is really a difficult decision to make, because if you make a slight mistake, you are going to end up regretting it. I know most people will find it difficult to choose, and lots of people will want to wait till the last match is played. They will say that since they have taken a great risk and all their predictions have been correct, they will just wait for the last match to be played rather than cashing out, but we know in situations like this, the last match is the one that’s mostly disappointing people, and we know half bread is better than none. I will rather cash out and go away with my money than take that kind of risk. It’s going to be very painful if the last match spoils the bet.

I think it all depends on the value we bet, and how much we get if we cash out. everyone who likes sports, it seems like moments like this are not something foreign to us as bettors. at the same time, sometimes we are faced with the choice of continuing until the last game. or, take half of the slip results that we deserve to get a share of. every situation doesn't have to be the same, sometimes we can cash in and it's not uncommon for us to continue until the last game. Every risk we face is all part of the gamble itself, at this point we can choose the option that suits our wishes and the situation.
But if we remember the betting style as OP presented, he has a long list in his ticket. Usually it will be difficult to penetrate until the last match, even though our choice is at the lowest odds. but still, in sports or football the results are not all as we predict. Even though our choice is on the top team, in normal times anything can happen during the match. for me personally it all depends on the money I bet, and how much I get if I cash out like in this case. if it's ideal and the last game doesn't give uncertain probabilities, then the choice is as you say, half a loaf is better than nothing.

if I were in OP's position I might also be in a dilemma. But if you do a cashout and you feel you have made a satisfying profit then half a loaf of bread might be able to fill your stomach. at least until we can continue the game tomorrow.
Taking too big a risk won't be good, but it's also called betting, we all realize and understand the risks. therefore we are betting now. I didn't check how the OP's bet turned out, was he successful?
If the amount that you use to bet is an amount of money that he can afford to lose, of course he might not think of going for the cash out option since he can do without the money and if he losses the whole bet, it will not be a problem.

However, the gact is that even if I use an amount of money I don't care about and I see that I have a cash out option that is enough for me because I never expected any win, instead of waiting for the game to end because if one or two games cut my slip, I will not be happy towards myself due to me being greedy. Like the topic I just posted on, which says withdraw your wins be it small or big just go for cash out.

I think Arsenal doesn't have to make a major overhaul to become champions because they already have a pretty solid squad and a good coach. At most, they only need to sign a few players who are really needed and don't have to make changes on a large scale. Arsenal's real problem is that they still don't have the winning mentality that Man City and Real Madrid currently have, and I think if on several occasions they can reach the final, it will form that necessary mentality on its own.
They need three experienced players to help them realize the club's success and achieve trophies, the players they have are indeed good but lack mentality. There is no need to make major changes because the squad that Arsenal has is already good, they just need to find some experienced players to make their mentality better. Mentality will be formed when they have players who are experienced enough in dealing with pressure.

It will take time for Arsenal to achieve what Man City has achieved and they will get that experience if they are able to maintain consistency in playing. In the Champions League, experience and mentality are very much needed because the competition is much tighter with several representatives from the existing leagues. Arteta must build this squad to be more ready to deal with pressure and they must try to find the right momentum.
Actually Arsenal should not even focus in winning the Champions league now, their main focus should be winning the EPL instead which they have a better chance of doing even Man city who have been dominating the EPL found it hard to get their first Champions League Trophy even with excellent players and a coach like Pep but with time they finally did which I think Arsenal can if they are consistent enough to snatch the EPL champions title from Man City.
I agree with you that is wasn't easy for City to win UCL even with their strong performance. City have only won it once and this happened when they were in their peak form because if you look at it, they have won EPL four consecutive times but within that period they have only won UCL once.

Arsenal is not as strong as City and that is why they should focus more on winning EPL first, if they have won EPL twice maybe that will strengthen and improve their mentality to focus on being champions because they have already tasted winning a title, I think that will motivate them.
