101  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][LAUNCH] GINcoin | One-click masternodes LIVE | Shared MN platform on: June 22, 2018, 03:46:49 AM
I'd just like to remind that http://gin.elitehash.net is still running at 0.16% fees, paying with no variance. Your hashrate reading will vary a bit more than on other pools because of the share difficulty - but that's the only source of variance. Nothing compared to finding blocks. Payouts are also more frequent than anywhere else, and no waiting for maturation of blocks. Every share is credited instantly.
Can I mine GINcoin with AMD GPU cards?
If yes, has it been still profitable to mine GINcoin at the moment?
The ROI of GINcoin masternode is very impressive, hence I would like to start mining the coin.

Yes, from what I've heard tdxminer is pretty good on AMD.
102  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ccminer 2.2.5 - opensource - GPL (tpruvot) on: June 21, 2018, 10:16:44 AM
It's a miracle if this hasn't been brought up. But there must be dozens of clones now from this software, all sharing the same bug: if the miner ends up on pool 1 wheen pool 0 disconnects, it will stay there FOREVER unless pool 1 also disconnects. I'm not sure what happens if there's a pool 2 in that case, will it loop them all around before going back to 0? In any case that's strikingly wrong, of course a decent miner program must return to the first pool when it becomes available again. I don't understand how this kind of thing can have crept in, when the programs were in great shape back in 2014 when I started my mining break.

After some hiccups this weekend with rejects, http://rvn.elitehash.net is running at 102.4% payout rate until further notice! Rejects are gone too. Servers in the EU & US, no variance and almost instant payouts. What could be better? (webpage layout perhaps...)

My RVN deposit at CB is still stuck after a couple of days, but they did fix my other, bigger deposit today. So at least they're working on it, albeit slowly Smiley

If you're tired of waiting for blocks at pools to get payouts, why not try our PPS pools? I doubt any other pool starts paying faster, so it doesn't take long to see how it works. With PPS every share is credit to your balances as difficulty/network_difficulty*4992 RVN (there's the fee, it's not 5000. 8/5000=0.0016 so it's a 0.16% fee). As rewards are based purely on this, the number of other miners on the pool doesn't matter at all. It's a useless statistic.

Payouts are sent every 7 minutes for balances above 5 RVN, and we have servers on the US & EU. Really the payouts could be dropped to every minute for balances over 1 RVN, the transactions are so cheap currently... but do you really want that kind of spam in the wallet? Customized thresholds are also possible!

I'm wondering how it could be any better? Smiley

Is this coin traded on some exchanges?

Yes, on CryptoBridge with good volume.
109  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / [POOL] CryptoHashTank.net on: June 04, 2018, 05:07:16 PM
We've been running for some time now without a thread, so here's one. I'm one of the administrators of this pool, http://cryptohashtank.net. We're focusing mainly on new coin launches (MANO coin being the latest) and running PPS pools for some more established coins. Feel free to post any questions and welcome to our pools!
110  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [PRE-ANN][MANO] Masternode Foundation [Pre-Sale][Bounties] on: June 04, 2018, 04:56:15 PM
http://cryptohashtank.net UP & running with 0% fees!

I agree, the launch was quite messy, with nobody knowing how to sync and one pool grabbing all the miners.
111  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ravencoin [RVN] PoW GPU Mining | Asset Transfer Blockchain (Updated ANN) on: June 03, 2018, 03:07:53 PM
Just added an EU server to our PPS pools. The RVN pools pay out every 7 minutes for balances above 5 RVN, and there's no waiting for block maturation or even finding any blocks. Payouts are based purely on shares. The fee is 0.16%. Idle balances over 0.1 RVN are paid out too, after 30 minutes.

Just added an EU pool, and the pools are now named http://rvn-eu1.elitehash.net and http://rvn-us1.elitehash.net - of course the old http://rvn.elitehash.net works too. I'll probably make it a round-robin hostname for both servers.
113  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ravencoin [RVN] PoW GPU Mining | Asset Transfer Blockchain (Updated ANN) on: May 31, 2018, 06:29:31 AM
http://rvn.elitehash.net wasn't affected by this hack either. This is one of the reasons I wanted to write my own pool and only use yiimp as the administrative backend.

Which miner is used to mine GIN for Nvidia?

I haven't heard of better alternatives for Nvidia than the opensource ccminer by tpruvot. Check out the Gincoin PPS pool from my sig, I've tried to made the graphs there to help with overclocking Smiley
115  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ravencoin [RVN] PoW GPU Mining | Asset Transfer Blockchain (Updated ANN) on: May 18, 2018, 07:47:59 AM
How do you do to calculate the hashrate of X16R?

Are you constantly changing the algorithm, how do you mean XXX Mhs? What do you mean exactly?

I've been trying to add features helping with RVN overclocking to my pool, http://rvn.elitehash.net. It already supports per-worker stats but it's a bit tricky: you have to input the URL manually, http://rvn.elitehash.net/stats.php?addr=address.worker - the fix to support that in the search box and in the neater URL form http://rvn.elitehash.net/address.worker is on the works.
116  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcore PPS Pools on: May 11, 2018, 07:13:04 PM
It's sad to see the hashrate dwindling, but that's understandable considering there are now some coins that are more profitable to mine than BTX. Still, supporters of BTX are more than welcome on this pool! I'm paying the highest rate with the most frequent payouts.
117  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ravencoin [RVN] PoW GPU Mining | Asset Transfer Blockchain (Updated ANN) on: May 11, 2018, 07:10:02 PM
http://rvn.elitehash.net/ has been running along nicely since the beginning. As it's a PPS pool, the amount of other miners on the pool doesn't matter at all. And payout are still sent every 7 minutes. Could even send them every minute with these ridiculously low fee levels...

I'm working on adding EU pools next, and consolidating the pool code as I'm already running these PPS pools for several coins (BTX & GIN also, with BSD on the way)
118  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][Main] Bitcore- BTX - SEGWIT - hybrid fork 1:0.5 of Bitcoin on: May 10, 2018, 09:54:15 AM
It was pretty much 100% native performance. But had annoying micro stutter and audio popping
Not perfect but close
Mining rigs at full power are lagging horribly anyways so those annoyances wouldn't mean a thing... FPS was normal in games but any serious gamer would complain about missing some milliseconds randomly. So many needless virtual deaths Sad

That's interesting... how is that comment relevant to the discussion here? And the interesting part: those are my exact words from a comment I posted somewhere months ago. WTF ??
119  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: Raven (RVN) - PPS pool with 0.16% fee, payouts every 420 seconds! on: May 10, 2018, 09:46:03 AM
Welcome to the latest addition on CryptoHashTank / Elitehash pools, http://rvn.elitehash.net

There's practically no variance on payouts as it's PPS, and the payouts start rolling almost instantly. Balances above 5 RVN are paid every 7 minutes (420 seconds), idle balances are paid out daily too. This is running the same code as the Bitcore PPS Pools I've been running for months with a group of happy miners. It just seems than Raven is way more profitable these days, and who wouldn't want to make the most out of their rigs?

I just moved 260mh hashing power over.  Let's give it a try and see if it is good Smiley

Although I'm still at the last of the bunch showing I'm doing 10 mh....need to update on that refresh time yo' Smiley

Hey there! The top miners list is showing 3 hour averages. Maybe it would make more sense with a tighter timeframe. I wanted semi-stable numbers there, but I admit it also adds unnecessary confusion. Everyone can already see their 1h/3h/6h/12h/24h stats, but perhaps some miners never get there after being scared off by the initially low numbers Smiley

I made a thread for the new RVN PPS pool. It's being run by the CryptoHashTank/Elitehash team. Welcome!
