101  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do we really need to blame fraudsters on: May 04, 2024, 07:03:22 AM
The Big Question

Who Is Really At Fault?

Have you noticed that whenever someone complain or there is an incident of scam they is always a role that was played by the person in that happening, either they failed to be security conscious or they were totally ignorant, and when you look at it the scammer never forced them to comply, this people willingly fell for their trick (Now to be clear I'm not saying scammers are right or saints, I'm pointing to the fact that we are responsible for ourselves, so enough of that shitty excuse, yeah the Internet would be a safer place without scammers but there are here, so deal with it)

There are lots of crypto investors that are well educated, have a good job and a higher level of exposure than even most scammers, but they chose to enter into the crypto space irresponsibly and they inevitably get scammed and at times lose huge sums of money or even life savings. Last bull run there was this Elon musk swap scam that was on and someone lost 10 bitcoins to it and even other cases where people have gotten scam through crypto ads or crypto exchanges that shut down and all this would have been prevented in a way.

In conclusion
there are numerous experiences and stories of people getting scammed and it wasn't as tho a high class hacker went into the blockchain or stole their seed phrase, they literally gave them their money, I think no matter the new app with added security or software, people would still fall into scam as long as they chose to remain ignorant and disregard security consciousness, we can not protect anyone's holding for them, no matter how many treads on security and how to avoid scams are introduced, at the end of the day its a personal responsibility and each person must play their role in their safety.

With crypto you gotta have high standards when it comes to safe guarding it. There are crazy scams all the time and so elaborate that even some bitcoin devs fall for them.

It's so funny how people would be so careless in the crypto space, and you would wonder if there knew what they were doing, it's decentralization for God's sake which means you are responsible for yourself you can't go around messing with what you have;

  • your safety is in your hands
  • your improvements is also in your hands

I think if more people accept that it's their responsibility to protect and safeguard themselves and also filter the information they consume, we would have a reduce in the amount of scam that happens.

Firstly, I don't think there is any need for the big question in bold, here. Because obviously you're not disputing the fact that not only one plays the role in scam rather the both party does.

It's very much obvious that both the scammers and the scammed plays a very big role in every scam case but the fact that this scammers are just so greed not to go work for their own money rather prefer to take from people who have worked for themselves, that's the only place I blame this scammers hence, I thing the people scammed in the crypto space especially with the Ponzi scheme scam are truly at fault for there lost coins. Greed plays a major role in this scam case most victims are very greedy to the extent of risking their money to get more with someone who you don't even know.

It's just poor to see such scenarios but it's true that both party plays a very big role in every scam, but we pray circumstances don't befall us hence we could be save in the crypto space, because for sure there is no 100% safe place in the internet.

Yeah they played a big role in fooling you and also held your hands and forces you to send your bitcoin to them, then you go around screaming I was scammed, doesn't that sound lame to you, the truth is that your were ignorant, careless and failed to be security conscious, yeah your so busy crying out for decentralization and most you don't know what that really means, you in fucking control, no one is responsible for you but yourself, and scammers know that and that's why they exploit the shit out of you, if it's so fun been ignorant your free and can continue blaming the mirror for showing you how ugly you are than applying some make up.

If more people realise that decentralized systems isn't like a banking or centralized system were you can go and report a transaction and they seize the persons money or track the person( although its possible if they are not smart enough) then you would be more careful when doing deals here.
I think we can never blame a person who is trying to do scam because in every situation and era there are people who will try to scam you in the way that you would have never thought of. So it's your responsibility to educate yourself enough so that you can be capable enough to resist these kind of toxic people.

Focus on yourself and the way you can reduce being victimised to these kinds of situations.
102  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Want to know details about NSFW, NSFL, DOXes on: May 04, 2024, 06:46:30 AM
I did not understand some points while reading the forum rules. I'm not familiar with some of the words so I don't understand what those points mean. It would be easier for me to understand if someone could explain the following points in detail.

10. No embedded NSFW images anywhere. NSFW content must be marked accordingly.

31. User avatars must not contain NSFL or NSFW content, infringe on copyright or attempt to impersonate a user.[10]

Q: What about deleting DOXes?
A: Nope, we don't delete them either as long as they comply with the following rules:

I didn't understand the meaning of these words NSFW, NSFL, DOXes.
You can get each and every detail on the internet. You can go and search  all the abbreviation that you asked for and if you hear it from other you'll not memorise it but if you go and have a search by yourself then you'll have a strong memory on it.

If you still have any query after doing all the hardwork by yourself then you can definately ask here again.
103  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Does it mean the poor can't breath anymore? on: May 04, 2024, 06:26:19 AM
Yes I have read some post where some of the beginner are mostly being attack due to inability to understand how the forum works, and for them to ask some question they needs clarification but at last got attack. I am not against of anyone attacking each others but let it be a way that everyone including the newbie has some little air space to breath than in every single discussion you would see those who calls themselves overall rank would come attack, either by saying your post doesn't belong here and there, low quality post, lack of English, poor English, etc. okay, must everyone be a graduate as you are? No

So, Yes they are new people I know they are and (you that is reading this post were once a newbie) and as then you didn't know it all right? Even if one happens to go check your post history there would be lot lapse and mistake on your profile which would contain lot of shit-post and you started from a step before what so called rank you have achieved currently that is ringing your f**king brain as  if you are superior to everyone. My dear you gat f**k down your anus and give people space to understand forum gradually with the way they think is best for them, correct people but no attack if you are attacking then what true messages are you passing after knowing the true vision bitcoin and it's representatives.

Correct without hate words, learn without getting offense and speak with love. By so doing everyone would be welcomed to the community!
Thank you all.
All the problems that you listed here have only one and unique solution to them.  You have to bear what people say and and then you have to make your heart understand that you're not here to make people happy but you're here to live your life the way you want on your religious basis.

Don't get attracted to these kind of morons who make fun of people just for the sake of their so called false ego.Try to be a hero first of all at least in your eyes before in the eyes of others.
104  Other / Off-topic / Re: Handwork or business in this country as it stands now. on: May 04, 2024, 06:12:58 AM
The two is nice but I think having a handwork is a
very big  advantage, try handwork first before business depending on the kind of business and the vendors determination, reason is because sometimes they're challenges that take part in your business and if you can't maintain them it might lead to your business  bankruptcy.
Yeah you're right to some extent but in my opinion to run a successful business two things are very important first of all hard work that you also discussed and the second one is consistency. If someone know how to remain steadfast in these two categories then he can break the shackles of success.

What you need is to remain consistent on failures and learn from them to develop your skills.
105  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Invest To Learning First on: May 04, 2024, 05:25:33 AM
Investing will never be risk free and finding 100% sure investments is pretty unlikely. But it does not mean that all investment opportunities are sketchy. Actually if you look and study carefully, you can find low risk investments that are established and very good for investments. Then as you learn more about how the market works, you can start learning about taking on high risk investments that might give you bigger rewards.

It's really important to figure out how much an asset is worth and look at its history before you invest in it. This can give you a good idea of what might happen in the future. Also, getting help from outside experts, like consultants, can be really useful. They can help you make smart decisions, save money, and understand how to invest better. If you're interested, I can suggest this place for outsourcing help: https://theremotegroup.com/
Yeah I think it's the best way that you can be a very good trader. Yes you can learn from courses and teachers as well but until an unless you jump into the market you'll not get  the exposure that you want to get from these teachers and courses.

Demo accounts are not also a great source because you'll not work that much to open a trade because you'll not have a fear of losing your money.
106  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Meme coins signals group here on: May 04, 2024, 05:07:00 AM
I found memecoins signal group they pumped from 30k mc to 50k in few hours.
Why it's special signals of meme becouse they don't talk about project road map they get right to way into point the point is that marketcap targets wich is good as me i don't care really the project i need to see price going up and i make more money from my money.
I been looking for meme coins signals Channels like the binance futures signals use to be now Im glad more and more SOLANA meme coins Signal channels coming out.

This the link wich group Im in they also give cash back If you take part of their signals i guess they have devs directly involved
Link to join
https://t.me/bigprofitsignals
I think it's your first time that's why you're shocked so much. In actual yes there are some traders that can make some very good trades along with you but in reality you can only get an overall benefit from these signals when you have a complete control over your greediness.

If you'll continue to put money on what they say then you end up into an overall loss in most cases.
107  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The Illusion of Trading Success on: May 03, 2024, 10:05:16 AM
A kingmaker, makes the king, but doesn’t achieve anything on their own. This is the ideology everyone following and hence acting like the ace the trading industry. These types of people are not traders, rather their earnings niche is trading. They saw potential and opportunity here in this field and hence they grabbed it. Now whether you or me thinking them as scammers, doesn’t at all trouble them. They will continue doing this and will keep on printing the money.
Hahah nice one bro it was a pleasure in reading your defended statement. It's whether that you don't know the truth behind this dark side of crypto or either you are attached by yourself into this whole drama.

No one I repeat no one should be allowed to sell courses and earn from it because it has a lot of side effects than the positive ones.
108  Economy / Economics / Re: What scares me from investing in gold. on: May 03, 2024, 09:19:51 AM
I was in Costco the other day and was tempted to buy gold bars they were selling to diversify my portfolio.
I have never bought gold as an investment before and it would be super easy and convenient to get it from my local Costco.

For those who don't know Costco is a very popular supermarket in the US that sells everything from grocery to consumer electronics.

Two things made me change my mind.

1) I asked the salesperson will Costco buy gold back when I want to cash in and sell it? He said no Costco only sells but won't buy it back.
So buying gold from Costco would be super easy and convenient but when you want to sell it Costco says good luck you are on your own.

2) Costco charges a 2% fee over the spot price which is two to ten times what most crypto exchanges charge you to buy and sell bitcoin.

I read a couple articles on the internet about how to sell gold and it seems a rather complicated and expensive process to do.
Where do you even go to sell your gold besides a pawn shop (who will give you only half of what its worth if you're lucky)?

Do you have to ship it to the buyer? Is escrow involved?

Yeah its not started today but it's more of a general rule that whenever you buys something it's of a high price but when you sell the same thing even without using it it will be sold in a lesser price then of what it was bought.

But don't resell it to the same medium you bought it from e-g if you bought it from a dealer then sell it to another person not to a dealer again.
109  Economy / Economics / Re: Personal Financial Goals vs Government expectations! on: May 03, 2024, 08:49:46 AM
Have you ever thought about this, what we are trying to achieve in our personal financial life is completely diverge from what the government expects their citizens to do.

We as Individuals always thrive to achieve financial independence in our lives especially someone who is from the average middle person but what the government expects from the middle class is different and is kind of surprising when we give deep thought about it, The Government highly relies on the middle-class tax payers for the money and most of the taxes collected in the form of indirect taxes so that people may not actually aware that they are paying taxes for everything from their salary, fuel, medicine, anything everything has taxes that eat most our earnings.

So as a result we are paying from 10% to over 50% of our earnings just in the form of taxes in one or another way. So one who really wants to achieve financial independence should find a way to reduce their tax pay legally like how the businessmen do.

Or like the bald guy says, we need to find a way to exit the Matrix. Cheesy
Yeah that's the reason that my opinion about this is very strict. These government system will no longer last at the end of this century. People are so fed up from the decisions that they're making especially if we see the Palestine issue and the reaction of students and people in USA.

It's only an example but in general many decisions are made just for the political wars going between leaders so public is getting fed up by this.
110  Economy / Economics / Re: US lawmakers urge SEC to approve Bitcoin options trading on: May 03, 2024, 07:24:49 AM
SEC chairman didn't want to approve Bitcoin ETFs because they think that Bitcoin can easily be speculated and in overall, they don't like it but there was pressure from as influential and powerful company as BlackRock is, so they were forced to approve it because the big guy was demanding it. Now after the Bitcoin ETF approval, everyone has got a huge appetite and wants to get ETFs of altcoins but the SEC doesn't want to give the green light to altcoins ETFs. So here is the thing, since the SEC approved Bitcoin ETFs, why not approve Bitcoin Options Trading?
What's your opinion, will SEC be forced to approve Bitcoin options trading? Click here to read article
In short its all the power of the public that speaks. No one can deny anything that has that much popularity and usage among people.increase in demand of a certain thing compels governments to act on it and allow it even thought it is not good for others it's the majority that wins.

Btc and crypto is so in that anything that will benefit that market will be approved by governments sooner or later.
111  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum has been stuck around $3200 for quite some time on: May 03, 2024, 06:25:41 AM
Ethereum ETF is not so popular in the media although if I'm not mistaken Hong Kong will be approved, low fees should be good news for those who do Ethereum transactions but it doesn't push the price up and there is no better news because the market is like this for me not only Ethereum but all coins experience the same thing where it becomes stagnant.
There is no news yet about Ethereum ETF in Hong Kong but with most of the rumors that I've read, many seem to be negative with it and they're not going to approve any of it anytime soon. They have delayed it for some reasons but it seems that it's not going to be approved then.

I feel Ethereum how can it follow the bitcoin price trail when there is a pump then the price will go up both ways, there is no resistance in terms of increase because that's what I was looking at some time before.
Soon, it's going to follow Bitcoin's move but we don't know, maybe on the month of May we'll see a lot of actions.
I think if this report is right then it would be very difficult for users to get the profit that they're expecting from ETH. It's so unfortunate that we can't get the correct paper of news as couple of weeks ago news was spread around that ETF will be approved so people make up their mind of investing in ETH and now it's close to be a false news.

The reason behind that is we are in hands of big investors and what they want from us they get it. That's why we need users or small traders are so unlucky in trades.
112  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Should I buy ALTs now or no? on: May 03, 2024, 05:56:56 AM
I am a researcher at a popular broking company, I will try to provide some good information with you regarding the current market situation in our discord server.

In short :
By buying now you will have very good profit in the coming months but you should have the cashflow and emotional strength to go through dips.

If you want to buy alts now, the best strategy is to begin a DCA until Mid-end of June.

Quick Note to be more precise : from my Point Of View, we have a little bounce to fill BPR and breaker and then we might have another leg down.
I think it's not the right time to buy altcoins or any other coin except BTC. The market condition after halving had became so much volatile that investing in these type of conditions had became very risky moreover the coins are fluctuating too much right now.

It's better to wait some time and then get the market analysis so that the data could be more accurate without fluctuations to predict.
113  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Shitcoin games in exchanges on: May 03, 2024, 04:42:19 AM
There Are many exchanges where exchange authority listed shitcoins only for money and later, they delist these as like responsible Exchange owner. Let's Have an example With MEXC Exchange! I saw some coins Pump from 600% to 18,000%, many coins pump more than 13000% and that's make me wonder. So i also tried to buy new listing altcoins.

But i experience that, New altcoins already pump 300-500% within seconds. Lol. Although i had opportunity to buy overpriced coin cause some coins goes more than 20000%. But i did. And later team create more hype so that more people joined with then. And after a certain time, team dump their share and run away.

So should be careful such shitcoin games. It may increase your money thousands time but i think, people will loss more than gaining
That's really stressful! These kind of coins not only destroys that market but they also effect the minds of people who are passionate about learning and earning from crypto. These needs to be stopped so that people can be saved from these type of losses.

There shouldn be proper campaigns launched by the experts once they recognise any coin that it's a shit coin. The purpose of these coins should be to educate people about them and to safeguard them from investing into these scams .

115  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: There is too many coins and chains but why need? on: May 03, 2024, 02:56:58 AM
There is too many chains and coins.
When i want to send money to someone i always end up paying with USDT tron chain when i pay my telegram signals memebrship fee always with USDT.
No matter how much USDC pushing it people tend to use USDT still and when i pay to my partners or exchange money they all use USDT tron.
Because of meme coins SOLANA is second chain i don't use btc at all first i have to ask what's the btc for ?
I don't use eth either it's grazy High fees and it's slow.
I would use xlm or xrp but anyone who I deal they use USDT tron.
We have so many blockchains and coins and they don't find use case tron has now number one utilty it's holding number one payment method on tron chain.
Ada dot matic and all the others and ltc....i even can't Understood why we need those ?

I think it's very important that there should be variety of options available so that they can have a competition among themselves and ultimately it'll benefit all of us who are using their services. Everyone has its own taste and many people recommend different exchanges meanwhile.

It depends on us now which suits us and what we will use. It's not only the fees that matter but there are many other factors that help us to determine what service we will prefer.

Hey cryptolovers

I am looking for crypto group owners or anyone who has some crypto community to become ambassador for Gems.vip. It is fundraising launchpad and Ambassadors are the only way for investors to enter the private sales.
People are greedy and any crypto group on X or TG wants money for their groups full of bots.
t.me/johnyperfecto
You have to share some more details about the project if you're really interested in gathering the community related to your interest.

I've seen mostly that people gather some peeps around them and after creating so much hype they just throw another project with zero value. It's not fair that we struggle for so long to gather a serious community who wants to earn good by some projects and you come here and offer them project without giving details. Please elaborate.
117  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What to Invest in on: May 01, 2024, 12:50:33 PM
Everyone should invest in Graphene Blockchains, STEEM, HIVE, BLURT, etc. For some Reason there is no Other SocialFi, and HIVE has a Token Mint and DEX.

Here is the Official Unofficial Hive-Engine Thread
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5491554.0

Bitcoin just went from $20,000 to $65,000 and is going to be $100,000 at some Point if the People that can see how that Worked, where it went from $50,000, to $20,000, to $65,000, if Everyone can Pay Attention to that, they can see how it is going to go to $100,000. Because I was around when each one was $5 each. Then $30 each. And they have never gone back Down. They are now $67,000 USD.

And the Mix of where this is all going to Work is this:

1. Bitcoin is the Gold Standard for at Least a Few Generations, Everyone know that, just be Secure in that Bitcoin is the Gold, Litecoin is the Silver, DOGE is the Copper, like Coins, and that can Change, but BTC will always have a Place high in the Echelon. Eventually they will Probably be Sold as NFTs, because one day Mining will End. And if You Study Mining, that is what is going to Determine the Timeline of Bitcoin. The Halving Events. The Last Coin, etc.

2. SocialFi, where Everyone will Share their Projects. Right now it is Bitcointalk and Steemit, BLURT, HIVE and DTube, that's about it. Eventually it will be Wikis, and Twitter Clones, and there will be Amazing Bots and Everything. Making a Bot that Talks to Everyone is a Good way to get some Income on SocialFi, because People might upvote the Comments.

3. NFTs in Games. That is, NFTs that are like Pokemon Cards, for Virtual Games. Terracore is an Example that I have been Talking about because it is on HIVE. HoloZing is another One.

4. Proof of Stake Tokens and DeFi, more important than the Games, but less Eye Catching.

That's how all of the People are going to come in.

I think some of the Big Businesses still don't Realize, when it was $5 You could Mine on 1 Laptop and get Bitcoins worth Keeping. Now if You use a Laptop, Mining Bitcoin wouldn't Pay for the Electricity, so You have to Mine another Coin instead just to make a Profit. Or even just to Hope it Spikes in Value, and make Money on the Moon Ramp. People are Mining Coins for No Profit, Hoping the Price goes up. And Mining isn't just Simple and Straightforward for Everyone.

There need to be Currencies where You don't have to know how to Mine. Like, Steemit. "Can You make a Facebook Account? Great, You know how to Earn Currency. You don't even have to know HTML like MySpace.". And there is no MySpace of Crypto, no one made the Version where the Profiles are Fully Customizable or anything, they are all just Arguing with each Other on STEEM and HIVE Platform. And there should be 500 of these instead of just these. They are ahead of their Time. And what they Offer is a Place for Other People to make Currencies, and then Earn Money Talking about their Currency, and have a Permanent Record they Create on the Blockchain with Content that they Post like on Facebook. And it Creates a Landing Page for the Currency. You could be on these Forums which is Good, but having the Blog as a Landing Page, and a Facebook Page and Facebook Group, and Twitter Account, those are all Things that can Help Your Currency. Even just to be Found by Other People. So the SocialFi Aspect is where You can Talk about the NFTs and the DeFi, etc, and Earn another Coin just by Talking there. This allows for Money to be Put back into the Project that You are Advertising on the SocialFi Platform.

And all of this will Effect the Price of Bitcoin, and Ethereum, etc, which will Benefit from having Places where People have more of their Own Currencies.

So Invest in these Areas, and then we need to look at Bitcoin as like a 100 Year Investment.
Modify message

As far as I have read the thread the projects you mentioned in it are pretty new in the market and they haven't been invested by must of the investors. Not all of them but mostly the projects are launched before months.

Now the problem of investing in such projects is that they don't have much data to predict that whether they'll give good profits or not. Ok the ithe
118  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Solana high demand increasing i think it's good for staking on: May 01, 2024, 10:42:51 AM
Thanks to meme coins the SOLANA is like MemeCoins reserve currency and memecoins are like new commodities like oil salt and copper...not exacly but its the way how it is.
So If people want that SOL it can increase demand for SOLANA so Ita good for staking.
Remember guys when ETH chain was very active Because of NFT party at "opensea "and other nft markets.
So solana have no great demand and when market turn in bull run generally then market will be full of exsessive funds wich goes into SOL.

LET the numbers do the talking just comparsion:

What is the market cap of Solana? The current market cap of Solana is $60.45B
The The Meme market cap today is $51.95B,
Gold marketcap Estimated Market Cap: $15.778 T
Marketcap of USA real estate $47 trillion
we see not far off,the solana+ memecoins mc not small and i definately want to be in this business compared solana meme coin mc with other sectors it's not so small so this market is full of capital.

This is an irrelevant post and also an irrelevant comparison between Sol and gold. Real estate and Gold has not much link with Sol they are more likely to be linked with the international currency 💲. Sol is completely base on a different technology, it solves and caters different social issues of the society.

As far as the investment in SOl is considered yes it's a very bright coin to invest in at least in my opinion. The current market conditions doesn't support to invest in something right now but later on it will be among the top options to invest.

Another restaking protocol has been release their announcement of airdrop. Its called renzo protocol, after the Binance announced their launchpool on renzo, the team followed it by their airdrop post which gives season participants a 7% pool with minimum eligibility of 360points to be able to received.

I am participants of this one and accumulated some points. Id hope my supplied eth for ezeth is worth it.

Check the announcement.

https://twitter.com/RenzoProtocol/status/1783277589525594231?t=t4SZP6T1WKXDaS1jeGvDXQ&s=19
I think it's not a problem to participate in the airdrop that are around us but the problem is that not everyone can get up to the minimum mark to get paid for their token or coins whatever. You must have some solid social media presence for that.

These projects only allow free earning upto an extent and according to my past experience they are not enough to reach the minimum level they have set on. First create a solid twitter presence so that you can use their hashtags methods or others to promote their project and earn handsome amount of coins.

April saw record-low crypto losses from hacks and scams, according to an April 30 report from blockchain security platform Certik seen by Cointelegraph. Only $25.7 million was lost in attacks over the course of the month, the lowest amount since CertiK started keeping track of this data in 2021.

According to the report, losses from hacks, exploits and scams were down 141% over the previous month. The decline is mostly due to the lack of private key compromises. In March, there were 11 attacks against protocols via private key compromises, whereas in April, there were only three.

25.7 Mil is still huge but considering where we were in the past the number reduced drastically, is this due to the people are more aware of crypto scams and avoiding hacks by tightening the security measures?
I think it's a great initiative. There should be much more in the market so that people can get confidence in their investments in crypto sector. Scams are too much spread nowadays and many people are getting pissed of due to that.

These kind of initiative should be funded by big investors as well as crypto promoting organisation so that reduce in scams will automatically lead to more confident crypto users. The higher the investments the more profit everyone will make.
