101  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: dKingston alt of scammer moriartybitcoin on: July 09, 2015, 11:29:03 AM
I one time met up with Mr. Moriarty while I was traveling in Europe 3 months ago. Knowing the scammer he is, I went all "IM QUICKSELLER A SCAM HUNTER THE ONE AND ONLY" on him and slipped in a shot of live influenza (the flu) into the coffee he drank and last I heard he was having a rough time of it. You're welcome scam victims.

BitcoinDistributor is also moriartybitcoin

You edited this to include the quickseller part for some reason.....

You have a shocking amount of accounts moriartybitcoin. I'll post the list here when I'm finished.
I don't think that KoS is moriarty bitcoin, although I have received reports of him trying to scam via a number of alts (including creating fake escrow contracts), although I have not received any confirmation that the accounts in question are in fact those of KoS.

I am not sure why you think KoS is the same person as moriartybitcoin, if you have evidence of such then I would suggest posting it.

I don't think it is a good idea to poison a scammer/criminal as that is something that will generally cause serious legal problems.

In the OP's screenshot, you can see that the account already has negative trust, and if you look at the comments, you will see one from quickseller saying that he is a probable alt of moriatybitcoin, so this claim is nothing new
102  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Offering BTC for PayPal on LocalBitcoins on: July 09, 2015, 05:29:23 AM
Yes, this was an account that I purchased. Most of my accounts I build up and resell, this one I bought for personal use.
Well you are using your purchased account to make it seem like you have a better trading record then you really do, and are trying to buy bitcoin with a high risk payment method in the process.

Some people buy LBC accounts in order to ensure their accounts are better displayed, however IMO what you are doing is outright dishonest.
LOL click on the link you scam hunting nutcase. He is selling BTC for other's paypal, not buying with paypal. Only person who stands to be scammed in the end is the OP.
LBC considers the reputation (which is purchased in the OP's case) into consideration when trying to resolve disputes.

All else being equal, the OP would win a dispute with LBC and could then attempt to launder the PayPal funds prior to them being reversed.

For all of you looking to buy BTC with PayPal, I am offering this service on LocalBitcoins. Take advantage of the escrow system and come open a trade: https://localbitcoins.com/accounts/profile/libermigra/
You didn't buy that Localbitcoins.com account did you? I know that you have made a large number of thread attempting to purchase LBC accounts, some of which I reported to the moderators for being duplicates.

If you really do wish to buy bitcoin with paypal then it would probably be best to use escrow on the forum, however this will probably not be safe because of the high risk of a chargeback several months down the line.
105  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: the reason why Satoshi didnt use his 500k-1Million Bitcoins on: July 07, 2015, 03:35:34 PM
Therefore, i think Satoshi prefered to sacrifice those premined coins for the sake of a better distribution of coins.
I think he did not think it would make such a big splash.... When he realised it, he already lost the private key to the coins he mined as part of the experimental in the beginning.
Satoshi had much bigger plans for BTC and he will never touch these coins. it is very likely that he destroyed his private keys in my opinion.
If satoshi really had decided to sacrifice or destroy his coins, he would have done so publicly by spending them to a black-hole address.
He did not. Which only leaves us with two options, either he wants to keep them for whatever reason or he really lost the private keys (which I personally doubt).
Satoshi kept his anonymity in mind too much to have likely made a mistake that resulted in him destroying his keys. I would be personally surprised if he still doesn't have at least three copies of his private keys in his control currently.

The fact is that Satoshi wants to keep his identity secret and spending his coins would most likely cause his identity to leak. This is especially true in regards to the earliest coins that he mined, he might be able to sell some of his later coins and only raise a few eyebrows but have nothing concrete about the coins being from satoshi.

Also if satoshi were to start selling his coins, it would likely cause a massive drop in the price of bitcoin because people might assume that he will sell a large portion of his coins at once. Even if he were to get the market to believe that he will only sell a small portion of his bitcoin at a time, it would still be a large amount of additional supply that the market might not be able to handle. I might predict that satoshi would decide to start selling some of his coins after the next few block reward halvings when little additional supply enters into the market from the miners.

Changed to 0.15..
Reason: I have bills to pay :/
Time: 2 weeks
Payback: 2.4btc
My Btc address for it:1MG1zg3idKxF32x3cNenedB2hRwUKPLf28
Collateral: Can offer you my bitcointalk account, 1k+ posts

Your account is only worth around .1BTC-.15BTC thus it won't cover your loan in case you decided to default on it.
What happened Huh How could you possibly need  2 BTC previously but now would be able to pay your "bill" with only 10% of that? From the looks of it, you are trying to sell your account. I would suggest locking this thread and opening a new thread in digital goods.
107  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 15kDcr9wDhZmvPufKP7vYyELSoLg4bKbAR <- Has paid well over 250BTC in fees?! on: July 07, 2015, 02:04:11 AM
Take note of the fact that this took place in 2011 - the amount of Bitcoin at the time was ridiculously small.
The price of bitcoin at the time was well over a dollar, I would guesstimate, roughly $5 per bitcoin, so 200 BTC in fees would put it's value at roughly $1,000.00.
It could have been an error or some sort of testing of new software that led to this. Either way at the time I'm sure it wasn't seen as a loss.
I would think a $1,000 fee would be seen as a lost to most people.

At the time, the difficulty was significantly lower, so it is possible that the owner of that address was the one who mined the block that confirmed the transaction, and the transaction was never publicly broadcast to the network prior to the block it was included in being found.

Another possibility is that someone was trying to "mix" coins via paying large amounts of fees to a miner. The owner of the address would provide a signed transaction to the miner who would include it in his found block, and would later pay that person a percentage of the amount included as a tx fee to a different address.
108  Economy / Lending / Re: 2btc loan on: July 07, 2015, 12:48:01 AM
I honestly think you are wasting your time trying to get that large of a loan with only your account as collateral.

You have zero trading history, no history of repaying loans on time and most importantly, as waterpile mentioned, your account is not worth anywhere near the loan amount.

All this proves is that you owned some amount of bitcoin many years ago. That address is not associated with your account previously as you have not posted it publicly.

If you have posted an address sometime in the past several years then you should sign from that address.

111  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: I got scammed 31.2k in BTC recently on: June 28, 2015, 03:21:13 PM
You have lost more then $30,000 in a single dice roll? I am sorry but I am going to call BS on this one.

Even less believable then the OP's story

I wish it was BS. Granted, I was referring to BTC amount, not fiat... and this was when BTC was in the single digits.

You lost 7.5 million usd in a single roll? I would kill myself if that happen to me lol.
Did you not read what he posted? He lost somewhat between the fiat equivalent of $140 and ~$1200 depending where exactly bitcoin was trading at the time.

That isn't all that bad. Obviously no one wants to lose that kind of money, however I can image a lot more people being able to afford to lose such an amount.

Up to 0.55$ per 1000 captchas (about 1 hour of work)
Payments per 1000 captchas depends on time of day.
So you are willing to pay people $0.55 per hour to solve captchas for you? I can't imagine the kind of people who would be willing to do this. If someone was part of a paid signature campaign they could simply post a few times per hour, get paid more then that and have some level of intellectual stimulation.
116  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Alt Account of a Scammer on: June 21, 2015, 11:49:56 PM
More of his alts would include the following:
Dalyb had posted the address 1D5fYFjngQkj8KjuGemM55T4pfuJFHfNm2 here (archive reply #25).

It also appears that Dalyb is banned, at least this is what his signature says.

this person's skype should also be noted, if this guy is this bad with reusing addresses I doubt theyll make a new skype

Good catch. A google search results in a bunch of results by Dalyb because of his signature and are of little help.

However nano-btc also posted that skype address here.

Also LegendaryGuy posted that same skype here. For reference the skype name is bladen112

It looks like FattyPonzi is another one as the same address was posted here back in February 2015 (archive - reply #539.

vafelcz also posted the above address here on June 13, 2015 (archive reply #11).

Additionally vafelcz posted the address 1D5fYFjngQkj8KjuGemM55T4pfuJFHfNm2 here and the address 1Ft9V8z6ELHTukPcFTs3eecfr5dqrQpTuu here both of which were posted several months ago. Both of these addresses are spend linked to the 1fatty.... address listed in the OP according to this
119  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Fortunejack a scam on: June 21, 2015, 11:04:16 PM
I am not sure either way about the OP's claims, however fortunejack does have somewhat of a history of doggy dealings, for example in this thread, they held up the withdrawal of almost 55 BTC because they wanted to investigate if the player was cheating them, and they took their time to investigate (in the end they ended up allowing him to withdraw his funds).
120  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Global Localbitcoins Volume Charts on: June 21, 2015, 10:59:44 PM
Global Localbitcoins Volume Charts

http://charts.coin.dance/
USA 20k
UK 5k
Russia 2.5k
Australia 2.5k
Everywhere else: nil
Europe also has a pretty significant amount of volume.

You also need to remember that LBC often uses things like banks (for cash deposits), and services like Western Union for fiat to be transmitted to the bitcoin sellers both of which are not widely available in much of the undeveloped world.

Sure bitcoin is great for many third world countries without any major financial infrastructure, however people will first need to have ways to easily buy and sell bitcoin in order for them to take advantages of it's benefits.
