101  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you believe Technical Analysis? on: December 08, 2023, 08:11:54 AM
I think that analyzing past charts for future price predictions is a good idea, relying solely on candlesticks would be a bad idea. This is because the market varies based on different factors such as investor psychology. While past events like the Bitcoin halving offer valuable insights, but they're just historical landmarks, not guarantees of the future route.
The best course of action should be to combine your candlestick analysis with your own insights. It’s also important to remember that trading is inherently risky, and no single method can guarantee a perfect outcome.
I recommend diversifying your portfolio with majority of your investments in a stable source while actively trading in altcoins like I do and investing only what you can afford to lose. By doing so you'll be better prepared to navigate the world of crypto

102  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading advice for newbies on: December 07, 2023, 03:37:07 PM
New users within the crypto space should understand that crypto trading is different from gambling where a mere prediction can yield result. As a newbie within the crypto space kindly check the following before you go into trading.

1. Learn about the volatile market
2. Learn how to analyze chart
3. Take your time to practice demo trading before going into real trading.
4. Do not be greedy, take profit when it’s best to do that, do not hope to get the whole world at a time.

You need to understand the learning process takes long, you have to be calm and follow through the process, if you’re too interested in the profit and not the skill or you don’t have time to do so, you can opt in for copy trading where you get to copy trade from elite traders and make profit, though copy trading is not available on all exchanges just few exchanges like Bitget has it.

Good luck newbies❤️
I completely agree. People new to crypto need to consider the factor you mentioned however I would also recommend that new crypto traders
Firstly, seek guidance. Navigating the market can be tricky and I would recommend that people new to the trade consider finding a mentor or joining a community of experienced traders. Shorten the learning curve, so to say. A mentor would help decreases the likelihood of making common mistakes.
And secondly, keeping a check on your emotions. Crypto markets are volatile, and emotions can easily cloud judgment. It’s important to keep your emotions in check and stick to your plan.
For example, when I execute trades, I only risk 1% of me and my company’s capital on each trade. This protects my portfolio from significant losses. But I also aim for a 100K sats profit on each trade which ensures my portfolio is always growing. That’s my strategy and I’ve been sticking to it and my profit margins have been really good. Make a plan and stick to it. But run it by experienced traders before you dive head first.

103  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Short Term Trading Altcoins and Meme Coins? on: December 04, 2023, 09:58:02 AM
Personally, I go with Short term trading of Altcoins. I rebalance my portfolio while constantly monitoring the market with the help of AI and make my trades based on the data I receive and what I see myself. Its been working really well for me as well.
104  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you still advised more buy and store? on: December 04, 2023, 09:52:39 AM
It honestly depends on your investment appetite. Holding bitcoin is a good strategy but there will also be a little bit of instability. Buying more and storing is a good idea, but you need to make sure that you first take care of your responsibilities. Maybe allocate a certain amount for buying bitcoin each month. It doesn’t have to be a lot.  I have invested mostly in bitcoin and the rest I have in Altcoin which I trade daily and that’s my choice, It’s entirely upto you how to invest/save your money.

105  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hodling vs trading on: December 04, 2023, 09:47:45 AM
this must not be go against each other because both are profiteering depend  in our choices and timing ,
some wanted to trade while some needs to hold.

Trading - Riskier but worth the effort once succeed.

HODL - safer, cheaper but needs long time to see your profit.

now decide for your own , depending on how you needed and how you wanted the product.

But me personally? I am into Holding because Am not a good trader as I mostly missed the opportunity so sell when the right time comes.

This is a good point. I think it depends on your investment appetite. For me personally, I think a combination of the 2 is the way to go. Hodling bitcoins and at the same time trade Altcoins to increase possible profits is the best way to go. It’s a way to maximize your profits.
And OP there are ways to judge when to sell, while monitoring the market, personally I rebalance my portfolio and I’ve seen success. Having someone experienced to guide you I think is really integral.
106  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is not a get rich quick scheme. on: December 04, 2023, 09:43:12 AM
Absolutely, approaching Bitcoin investment with a long-term perspective is key, it’s not a get-rich-quick scheme. Bitcoin's volatility, while offering potential gains, isn't ideal for instant returns due to its mostly stable growth. Strategies like dollar-cost averaging (DCA) promotes consistency, aligning with long-term objectives for continuous portfolio growth. I would also say that altcoins presents a better opportunity for profit, given their heightened volatility. While Bitcoin provides the stable foundation, the larger fluctuations in altcoins especially during the bull runs when historically there is an upward trend over all, can be an avenue for profit for those following a more potentially lucrative investment approach.
I tend to keep majority of my investments in bitcoin with some in altcoins and constantly rebalance my portfolio so that I have a consistent profit growth that exceeds even bitcoins.
107  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin vs Altcoins on: December 04, 2023, 09:35:44 AM
Rather than just buying certain altcoins and holding, I’m rebalancing my portfolio to get the most out of those altcoins that are currently fluctuating and then reinvesting the profits as well. This is giving me a higher return rate than even bitcoin.
108  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should altcoins be blamed? on: December 04, 2023, 09:30:16 AM
I think that people are naturally wary of Altcoins given that they’ve been burned and that’s mostly due to the scams and their volatile nature. If judged incorrectly there is a potential to lose a lot of money. But just like with gambling there is a lot to gain as well. Historically we can see that while people can lose with Altcoins, they can gain a lot more with the right investment strategy. Especially during a bull-run or pre bull run. I for example have been rebalancing my portfolio investing in bitcoin and altcoins and I’ve managed to exceed even bitcoins profit these last few months.
I personally don’t believe they should be blamed. It’s the market and with the right strategy you could make plenty as long as you invest carefully. They’re a resource and there is no point in hating the resource.
109  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hodling vs trading on: December 03, 2023, 04:47:16 PM

With all these being  said it is important to note that hodling shitcoin is not advisable due to their exponentially high volatility which may lead to severe loss if not properly managed.
Trading and hodling is always a choice as they indirectly serve as balance to the Bitcoin ecosystem.

Don't forget to keep your keys safe 😁

Solid advice about altcoin HODLing. That's always a terrible idea.

BUT people who have learned how to use them are making big bucks, too. After years of studying the market as a Bitcoin enthusiast, I myself learned the potential of altcoins and how they can really boost short-term gains.

And now my new, but growing, community has steadily growing investments. We're using human-in-the-loop AI and dynamic rebalancing to identify short-term opportunities in altcoins, investing without leverage, and making decent profits. It's so simple, our users don't even have to look at any charts or make trading decisions.

Anyway, again, HODLing altcoins is a bad idea.
110  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Invest only in Bitcoin and never invest in shitcoin on: December 03, 2023, 04:09:58 PM
Bitcoin is the father of all crypto currency. The name is an eye opener to crypto, and has brought or attracted many people into crypto currency today. And has continued to stand firmly without fading.

Many turn into shitcoin investor. After knowing about Bitcoin. Unfortunately it didn't work out the way they thought.
I am a tipical example of that. when I heard about Bitcoin how it started from $0.01 to thousands of dollars I thought shitcoin also has that potential. I was working and was investing in valueless coins thinking dey will be like Bitcoin. but never did as Bitcoin. all gradually disappeared. And that made me regret no investing it on Bitcoin then.

Although some people were pretty lucky to make alot of dollars from shitcoin, but mine didn't work out in any ways, so I would like you guys to shear your ideas on this an the possible solution.

You can only get lucky so many times. Consistent winnings are all about preparation.

As you said so yourself, your story is a typical one. All of us adventurous investors have lost plenty of money in altcoins. And then people come to their own conclusions. For instance, you decided to simply quit altcoins altogether, while I decided to learn more and not just relying on something as unreliable as luck for successful trades.

In the years that I invested in learning the intricacies of crypto trading, I came across challenges and found ways around them:

Problem: Altcoins are too many and you'd need too much time just to follow everything, identify opportunities, and make your trades.
Solution: It's 2023. Use technology to do all of that for you. I spent years identifying what an AI tool needed to have to perform these tasks efficiently, and now my little community uses human-in-the-loop AI for this stuff with remarkable success.

Problem: I'm a Bitcoin enthusiast but I want to maximize profits. Can't wait for a halving every 4 years to push the baseline up. I don't see how I can boost profits when I've had bad experiences with altcoins.
Solution: Diversification is really important if you want to maximize your gains. If done correctly - always for short-term gains - riding waves of profit in altcoins can grow your investments really well. Find a way to identify good opportunities in altcoins and watch the magic happen.

Problem: I don't know when to get out of an altcoin investment.
Solution: Always use rebalancing. It'll allow you to see when you're over-invested in a coin and maintain balance. When you hit those points, take the money out and invest it either in Bitcoin or another emerging opportunity.

These are the key problems I've solved for my community, and we're all growing our profits and investments, keeping the king coin at the center.
111  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What you need to know about trading on: November 27, 2023, 11:26:50 AM
I agree completely. Trading and investing can be a challenging path, with periods of loss and setbacks that can test our resolve. However, it's important for investors to remember that these obstacles are an integral part of the learning process. Instead of giving in to discouragement when faced with losses, we can leverage these experiences to refine our strategies and emerge as more skilled traders.
So, maintain your focus, persevere through the tough times, and never lose sight of your trading objectives. That’s what I’ve done, and what most experienced traders have done. I would recommend the new investors not start investing on their own initially. Having a mentor is a big bonus especially when you’re starting out. You could find communities that offer clear evidence of successful strategies and start from there.
112  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading can ruin you on: November 25, 2023, 11:17:24 PM
I think that trading can definitely be profitable but also as you stated can be definitely risky, you’re basically gambling if you enter without proper knowledge. I agree on that. I've myself have faced setbacks over the years but have learned to tread cautiously.  But without losing a little how will they gain experience. At least that what I think.
For newcomers, a safer approach would be buying and holding, and selling when prices rise. Futures trading is complex, and best left to experienced traders. However, while people may discourage trading based on bad experiences, with sufficient caution, research, and guidance from a mentor, It is possible to succeed. But without these safeguards, it will always be highly risky. I'd personally advise newcomers to limit trading activities to around 70 to 80 percent of their equity, focusing on a majority of their holdings on bitcoin to minimize potential losses and 20 to 30 percent in Altcoin to actively trade and gain experience gradually or an amount you’re willing to lose.

I agree to a certain point. Bitcoin is the stable resource and it’s the solid backing crypto needs to thrive. I do believe that trading can definitely be profitable though but also as you stated can be definitely risky, you’re basically gambling if you enter without proper knowledge. I agree on that. I've myself have faced setbacks over the years but have learned to tread cautiously. But Through the setbacks I’ve also learned and I am now getting returns on my initial investments.

114  Economy / Trading Discussion / What are your big plans for the Bitcoin halving coming up in a few months? on: November 24, 2023, 04:23:56 PM
I am consistently reassessing and reevaluating my investment strategy as the halving could have a significant impact on the price of Bitcoin and other altcoins. The halving could also lead to a surge in interest in altcoins. As such, I am on the lookout for alternative investment opportunities. And, of course, dollar-cost averaging (DCA) is a consistent investment I make. That's my plan, at least. What are your plans for the upcoming halving?
115  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: If you had AI day trade bitcoin to make profits on: November 22, 2023, 09:09:30 AM
How would one do so efficiently? I am very interested.

I guess I'll have to tell you my story. I'm a seasoned crypto investor and a Bitcoin HODLer Cheesy

When I started putting my money into crypto years ago, I didn't like the fact that the market was so volatile and things could change drastically and quickly. Of course, Bitcoin (which has been - and will always be - my primary coin) became my safe bet. We all learned it was the best crypto asset to invest in - especially long-term where it continues to make gains (despite the wild plummets after its crazy bull runs). With time, I have no doubt it'll hit the $100K mark (and then go even higher).

But then I started thinking there should be a better way to make more profits with my investment than just waiting for Bitcoin to climb over years.

AI was becoming a thing and so I decided to day trade with it. I learned all I could and went for it. And lost a lot of money Cheesy

So I'm not a fan of day-trading Bitcoin generally or scalping it with AI, etc.

What I came to realize a few years back was how I could implement AI effectively in crypto investing. So some friends and I started training a specialized AI on crypto data. The community I recently launched now uses this AI to identify break-out coins before the event happens (along with other potential events that affect certain coins more than others).

We don't let the AI run wild. In fact, I have experienced traders supervising the AI and its recommendations. These professionals call the shots on which potential trades to take and which recommendations to ignore.

The AI has maintained an average 2.43x higher gains than Bitcoin in months of testing before we launched. Since then, we've made 10% higher gains than Bitcoin for our community.
116  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What’s your portfolio building strategy for crypto? on: November 22, 2023, 08:37:01 AM
Building a crypto portfolio? Hm, I just buy and hold. Easy as that. For Bitcoin, I use the DCA strategy, which provides the opportunity to buy Bitcoin once every two weeks or once a month. For altcoins, this is a bit difficult because you have to find the altcoin.

But I tried to analyze the altcoins that are in the top 50-100 list. I am still focusing on investing in Bitcoin rather than altcoins. I have never used AI to analyze data or market trends to find the coins. Moreover, I don't focus too much on buying altcoins. I still have some altcoins left in my wallet.

Could you tell me what kind of AI you are using? Maybe we can also learn from the AI you use. Well, who knows, it could also be of benefit to us.

See my last couple of comments Smiley
117  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What’s your portfolio building strategy for crypto? on: November 22, 2023, 08:34:48 AM
AI can do that, to look for advise. But the problem is that AI may not be correct. They are not 100% accurate.
My point exactly. AI may never give any appropriate advice. If anything, it will just pick up random information from shilling online reviews. This is where a human brain still beats AI hands down.

In the recent time, I have asked Bing's AI for example for comparisons regarding the best earbuds with excellent bass output and every other time, it kept giving me wrong information. I got the much better information and opinions when I just did the reading myself through the different review sites and watched some YouTube videos.

1. I completely agree with the human expertise bit. I have experienced traders looking over AI recommendations and making each trade decision.

2. Getting investment advice from bots is unwise if they're not programmed for that sort of thing. Bard, ChatGPT, and other such AIs can't give you reliable info. In fact, unless you're in a community or platform where they're using an AI that's built for this purpose, I strongly suggest you stay away from AI from investing decisions.

I should also clear up something here. My strategy is about maximizing profits even though I'm a big BTC HODLer Cheesy  Diversifying in altcoins that my specialized AI and experienced traders supervising it choose helps me and my community members make better gains for the same period in comparison with Bitcoin gains. But we ALWAYS do it for short-term profiting.
118  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What’s your portfolio building strategy for crypto? on: November 22, 2023, 08:20:07 AM
AI? This is new to me.
Can you show us how you use it to analyse the current market data and trends and then decided on which asset to add onto your portfolio and which one not to?

I think the easiest strategy is DCA if you are into long term holding. I used it too sometimes.

DCA is definitely an effective strategy for long-term investing, I agree.

As for your question, I use a sophisticated AI that I spent quite some time putting together with some very skilled friends of mine. It's designed to identify breaking out coins and other opportunities in crypto for profiting - only for the short-term. I always advise people to keep Bitcoin as their primary coin but with the help of the AI (and I have seasoned traders looking over the AI's recommendations and calling the shots) my growing community has already made 10% higher gains in recent weeks over what Bitcoin produced.
119  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: is it still risky to Invest into Altcoin now? on: November 21, 2023, 01:29:18 PM
So I agree that the value of Altcoins have been showing significant growth in value and that they have immense potential. I’d definitely go for it but I wouldn’t recommending holding them long term given their volatility. I would suggest you do quick trades. I have been rebalancing my portfolio based on market conditions and it’s been working great for me.

Guys, I’d really like to know how you built your crypto portfolio? I’m a seasoned crypto investor myself (not to mention an entrepreneur) and this is just that time of the year when I ask other crypto investors about their strategies. My Strategy is centered around using AI to analyze data and trends of the current market and then rebalancing my portfolio based on my findings. What are you all doing/have done to build your portfolio?
