I think what DIGITAL-DAEMON says is true. Raising 30 BTC in 5 weeks is a bit stiff, if you consider christmas is around the corner as well. Maybe extending the timeframe to one legendary auction per week would be a good idea.

I think that gaming idea is a good one. What we would need is a developer who accepts a payment in DMD. A well done Texas Hold'em, Black Jack or Roulette App for Android, with DMD as it's base currency is something that could easily bring some new investors.

DMD is a investors coin, not a traders coin, that's probably the argument for investing. So low trading volume is not a problem for this coin. Just get some diamonds and let them stake till 2018, that's when 5% PoS rate and 0,04 PoW rate will become active.

Personally, I do not listen to the scare mongers, I will hold DMD for some more years or even longer. 2$ per DMD is a price where I would sell some of my holdings.

From my perspective of view we should be thankfull to whale nr.4, because he created an attractive entry point for many people, DMD oldschoolers and DMD beginners. The resulting short term price drop shouldn't worry the long term investors, day traders who lost in value might be pissed off. But yeah, stay out of the kitchen if you can't stand the heat.

I have the impression that some people are doing self trading, hoping that others would sell low in panic too, just go get hold on cheap diamonds. Don't fall for these cheap tactics.

I do not say "DMD to the moon", but "Diamonds are forever!"

I have asked a nice chinese man, if he could do some translations for diamondcoin, or if he knows somebody who would do that. I will message you, cryptonit, as soon as I get a reply.

Funny people who try to play pump and dump, thanks to PoS we don't have to play with them. Just let them kill each other.

I'm glad you are out of DMD mitache365 and please stay away as long as you have to spread such a poisonous attitude.

cryptonit gave us some really valuable information: do not merge coin piles, otherwise you lose more coin age when you send coins to somebody. just let the wallet do it's thing. btw. glad to have u here cryptovpn, just one thing, please do not sell coins as fast as you bought them

I am having my DMD wallet open and POS is working fine for me, it's just a little strange that the minting amounts are smaller now but more often, in the past it was less often but the amounts were bigger. The result will hopefully be the same I have switched my POW hashrate to a different coin with the same algo, groestlcoin, they are around 500 Mh/s and can use some support I guess. I think it wouldn't be bad to have a second coin based on this algorithm for daily transactions and use diamond as long term wealth storage.

From my perspective, as a small miner since almost a year and a small contributer to reactor, DMDs core team should try to make this wonderfull coin not dependent on uncertain factors from the outside, but build its own ecosystem driven by a handfull of trusted people.
I think this whole BTC cloud mining thing is going to fail sooner then later, because energy prices are rising, general crypto adoption is slowly rising and BTC price ist not going to rise like crazy, but slowly, difficulty will continue to rise as well and hardware development is really expensive. I can see the point where hardware development will hardly pay off, without fatous costumers, who need to buy miners, that realistically will never generate a big profit. DMD should not jump on this train driven by lies, but stay true and confident.
What this core team has delivered so far is truly exceptional, the DMD community on it's own is a grown up, sharing and friendly bunch of people. We should not lose this reputation because of uncertain factors from the outside, that we can not influence.

Hello Cryptonit, I have sent you some hard mined 250 DMD made with Ökostrom and a PM with the details, have a nice sunday!

Hello cryptonit, I would like to contribute 250 DMD for Reactor Light, Option 1. I don't have 500 DMD. Please tell me if it's okay, or if it's not possible. Thank you.
|
|
|
Hello there, I got a question: If I contribute to Reactor Light (Option 1), will I only get my DMD back, or will I get the minted DMDs as well?
|
|
|
You are right cryptonit. In the end it still is a one sided conversion business strategy, it removes any responsibility from the seller, which is not a good strategy for building trust.

I understand why you are doing it in that way. In my opinion it is wrong to take BTC and say it's USD, because it is not. I think you should take BTC as BTC and USD as USD, a circumvention of that is problematic in my opinion. That's why I am not invested yet and I know for sure I am not the only one.
