101  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: why every IEO on P2PB2B exchange? on: December 07, 2019, 05:41:02 PM
There are a lot of lower quality IEOs out there that don't offer good quality technology innovations and might not be viable long term investments where the startup is able to build a sustainable ecosystem and generate a profit for its investors so make sure you avoid these or wait until after the offering to get the tokens at a discount price
102  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Consider All Altcoins Bad on: December 07, 2019, 10:03:43 AM
Some alternatives offer great solutions that Bitcoin doesn't such as Ethereum which offers smart contract technology and Tron that is popular for dApps without which a lot of interested projects could not develop apps and products for other purposes so they are essential to the cryptocurrency ecosystem
103  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Alibaba cooperates with new blockchain platform, Is this project worth following on: December 07, 2019, 08:39:20 AM
Alibaba entering the blockchain space is big news and any startups they partner with will end up benefiting from their huge user base so invest wisely if these opportunities arise in assets like this that will have a long term viability and that can develop high profile partnerships of this kind
104  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: FEAR OF DUMPING on: December 06, 2019, 09:59:52 AM
More often than not its actually the large groups of investors who bought in early that dump a token if it does not experience positive price action as soon as it begins trading and depending on the quality of the project you can pick up some bargains if it becomes cheap enough and accumulates
105  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Confused, Your thoughts is needed on: December 06, 2019, 07:01:53 AM
Not all crowd sales are the same and some have good buy support, whether it be a whale or professional trader accumulation or a price floor provided by the project itself, and you can check beforehand if there's any buy support that will be provided by the startup which may be beneficial to counteract dumping
106  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: how to avoid fraudulent projects? on: December 06, 2019, 06:11:25 AM
Some of the ways to avoid projects that are scams is by doing thorough research into the quality of the technology, qualifications and professionalism of the team, and the reputability of the platform hosting the IEO and also evaluate the performance of similar fund raisers before you invest, and this will help you to get a clear picture of what is ideal to invest in and what isn't
107  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Questions for New Altcoins on: December 06, 2019, 05:19:46 AM
Projects of good quality will attract a lot of investors, whether they are an IEO or STO or even an ICO, which aren't as popular anymore, however a lot of investors don't do enough research or are looking to make a quick return and tend to throw money at anything that they think might be profitable regardless of its quality
108  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Emerging Markets of Cryptocurrencies on: December 06, 2019, 04:25:38 AM
Libra is a huge project and is likely to have its own payment gateways through its partners, but the possibility to purchase commodities with it like Bitcoin which is digital gold will most probably be possible if its launch is a success and it becomes widely used
109  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do people still create new ERC20 tokens/projects nowadays? on: December 05, 2019, 07:25:35 AM
Tokens are constantly being created on the Ethereum network to support all kinds of uses like IEOs, STOs, dApps and Airdrops etc. and you can also very easily make one yourself for fun if not for a project and this network has major upgrades coming this month and continuing next year so it should be a worthwhile asset invest into
110  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin's future. on: December 05, 2019, 06:03:42 AM
The alternative assets you mentioned are well established with large development teams and many important business partnerships that can help sustain their ecosystems and new competing technologies will have a difficult time surpassing these top ranked projects no matter what they offer
111  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Libra partner drop out on: December 05, 2019, 04:31:11 AM
The main reason these major partners withdrew from the project is because of regulatory pressure and Libra is not at a stage yet where it compliant enough to cater for large payment processors needs in this area, but hopefully will be next year which if so will be another turning point for the industry
112  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why am i Still into Crypto ? on: December 05, 2019, 03:30:17 AM
Niche projects such as this are great fun to play around with for beginners and Tron dApp fans but it doesn't represent a long term proposition and investment wise you'd be better of putting the majority of your portfolio into top ranked assets and only a smaller percentage into assets such as this
113  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto world is presently not sane on: December 05, 2019, 02:49:36 AM
You are right there is a lot of dumping occurring and price manipulation by large holders of both Bitcoin and the major assets but that's not a reason to panic sell, and if you're a first time investor it presents a great opportunity to buy and accumulate at good value
114  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Sold my house for buying altcoins need your help on: December 04, 2019, 07:13:23 AM
You should always have some of your portfolio comprised of Bitcoin because its the leading asset, and make sure you avoid any tokens that might be considered securities in the future or have issues with the SEC as these will not be viable long term investments
115  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: CMC and coingecko on: December 04, 2019, 06:29:33 AM
Coinmarketcap requires an asset to be listed in at least two exchanges and have liquidity before listing whereas Coingecko list any asset, regardless of this so that's why you'll find more assets on the latter and it is a valuable resource especially for newly released projects that don't yet have multiple exchange listings
116  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: UNFAIR TREATMENT OF THE BOUNTY HUNTERS on: December 04, 2019, 05:17:53 AM
There unfortunately is not a lot bounty hunters can do as their rights are limited and this just goes with the terrain so to speak so all you can do is verify that a campaign manager is reputable as well as the project itself and that should increase your chances of receiving a fair reward
117  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which cryptocurrencies are highly undervalued these days? on: December 04, 2019, 03:03:47 AM
Most of the good quality assets that have a high amount of liquidity are top ranked already with not that many low cap assets representing enough interest from investors due to lack of marketing, usability, or are too new yet and haven't had much hype but most of those are a DYOR type of thing as not many share hidden gems
118  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Earning DEX Fees VS Earning CEX Fees. Thoughts? on: December 04, 2019, 02:11:33 AM
You could theoretically have the same concept where a DEX has its own dividend based token that incentivizes users for using its platform, but this would be a new concept and if it catches on would make them more attractive to traders and investors
119  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Expectation And Reality In The Current Situation on: December 03, 2019, 09:45:56 AM
Major brands like Facebook adopting cryptocurrency in the form of Libra was a watershed moment for cryptocurrency industry and although its progress won't be as fast as hoped due to many regulatory issues world wide it should see some level of success if the market is going to survive it should be able to progress these types of technologies so it will be interesting next year to see just how these projects evolve
120  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A piece of an advice on: December 03, 2019, 08:44:01 AM
If a particular asset in your portfolio isn't performing well then the general rule of thumb is to investigate as to why this is such as analysis technicals and fundamentals or simply talking to the project team themselves and also evaluating the market to see if there's enough interest to make it worth your while and don't be afraid to diversify into another better performing asset
