101  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Play games to earn bitcoins on: October 31, 2016, 08:38:10 AM
There aren't that many games that can help you earn Bitcoin as many of them have been exploited, to the point where they stopped or the payout was significantly reduced. I'm not sure if gambling fits under your definition of games but if it is, you could try using he faucet for some website and trying to earn some BTC from there!
102  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where to Invest BTC? on: October 31, 2016, 08:19:45 AM
I actually recommend investing on the bank rolls of trusted gambling websites. Even though profit is small, it has a really high chance of gaining more than what you started with.
103  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If Bitcoin was made illegal by your government would you still use it? on: October 31, 2016, 08:16:50 AM
Definitely not. As everything is digital, it's easier to monitor transactions online rather than in person. I don't know why Bitcoin would be banned in the first place, but going to jail because of it is a lot worse.
104  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why trading is better than gambling? on: October 31, 2016, 08:07:54 AM
Well in trading it actually takes skilland you really need to know what you're doing asthe luck factor is sim. Gambling, on the other hand, doesn't require as much skill and is mostly revolved around luck. So trading is better if you have the skills for it.
105  Economy / Economics / Re: Paying taxes on forum? on: October 31, 2016, 12:42:32 AM
No. Bitcoin is just a cryptocurrency and the government has not much control over it compared to currencies such as USD. And I highly doubt people are earning crazy amounts here so declaring it would be really insignificant.
106  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: In gambling, Money is more important than knowledge and luck on: October 31, 2016, 12:38:42 AM
I would have to rank Knowledge first, then luck, and money last. Having lots of money doesn't necessarily mean you win in gambling. It just means you can afford to lose more. Having more knowledge in gambling and how to gamble is far better as it is what stops us from losing even more money.
107  Other / Off-topic / Re: Is Bitcoin money ? on: October 30, 2016, 10:43:19 PM
Yeah! I believe it is as for it's not really a commodity because we can't physically have a bitcoin. It's treated as money and as a form of currency and can be used to pay for things, which is why I classify Bitcoin as money.
108  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: [Research] Bitcoin implementation in a MMORPG (That already exists!) on: October 30, 2016, 09:12:51 AM
Hey guys/gals,

I come back with an update.

So I downloaded the game, and the developer was online. I talked with him about potentially incorporating a bitcoin feature within the game and he was open to hearing more about the idea. I invited him to join in on the conversation here.

I'm going to use this topic to openly discuss development of this project.

I feel that the bitcoin economy simply lacks a good game and this game really has potential.

It's really late where I am right now, so I'll come back tomorrow and expand on my thoughts.

I would really like to create a win-win-win-win situation, or what I like to call a win-chain. Smiley

Meanwhile, give some of your creative energy to this question "How would YOU integrate bitcoin (as a feature) in a video game?", and share your answer with me!

I really like your idea of implementing bitcoin in a game. There haven't been many MMORPG games involving Bitcoin and I really think there's a potential for it. Maybe offer a way to buy in game currencies directly with Bitcoin, or have a quest in game that can reward you with Bitcoins?
109  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Ways to promote new gambling site? on: October 30, 2016, 09:09:04 AM
I think the main ways to promote your gambling website would be to make a signature campaign and hosting s contest. Making a signature campaign first would help familiarize your website to other people and having contests would lure them back some more. Also try to add some extra features that other websites and be creative. Have something in your website that makes them want to stay and keep coming back.
110  Other / Meta / Re: Another DDOS ? on: October 30, 2016, 06:14:25 AM
Not sure what happened. I couldn't log in early this afternoon and yesterday at around 6pm PST. The website itself is still kinda flaky as I've been having trouble logging in just a couple of minutes ago.
111  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Paypal a scam? on: October 30, 2016, 04:57:07 AM
Paypal itself is definitely not a scam. It's a very reputable company, but there are many users who exploit it. Dealing with paypal is always risky as there is a refund or chargeback option, therefore always know the risk when dealing with Paypal.
112  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Android iOS Mobile Games , Rewarding Bitcoins Project [Please give Suggestion] on: October 30, 2016, 04:49:55 AM
I would choose idea 2 because with the first idea, it's only good for a couple of players, whereas the second option gives everyone who plays a portion of the reward. What I have in mind is that there is some ranking in which everybody is assigned a score based on a factor. Once it's time for the reward, there would be a prize pool and everybody would get the reward but only a portion of it that is based upon their ranking.
113  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [SELL][VOUCHED] Upgrade your spotify to premium for just 1$ on: October 30, 2016, 04:35:31 AM
I made a new account in US and I successfully received spotify premium from OP.

He was really friendly in communicating with me and answered my PM's within minutes.  As it is premium, I won't have to listen to the ads and can listen to songs offline. Thanks again OP and I highly recommend him!
114  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Betting on sport = gambling? on: October 30, 2016, 03:50:04 AM
Yes, definitely. The definition of gambling means "play games of chance for money" or "take risky action in the hope of a desired result". Betting on sports just because you have some knowledge on it doesn't mean it's not a risky action. Anything where you are risking money without a guaranteed profit is considered gambling.
115  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Should i make an App from where you can surf faucets with faster speed??? on: October 30, 2016, 03:45:20 AM
It would be helpful for people who are new to bitcoin. I definitely would've used your app back when I started my interest in Bitcoin as I didn't have many resources. You should devise some way to get your website out there, whether it be advertising as you won't generate much income with it. (Unless you're doing it out of kindness, then thank you Smiley)
116  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] vDice Ethereum Blockchain Gambling || Crowdsale on: October 29, 2016, 10:38:19 PM
First off, I would like to say I really like the concept of your website. I haven't seen too many websites that send money to gamble and get your money back. As I'm not really familiar with Ethereum, do you know any exchange website I could instantly change from BTC -> ETH and after it finishes gambling, it gets sent to an ETH -> to BTC? I would really love to try your website!
117  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Controlling your temper in gambling on: October 29, 2016, 10:26:33 PM
Actually, while play gambling we want to earn big & this thought make us greedy and we lose our temper. So, I think we should make a mind set before playing that I can't earn big by gambling and I just wanna get entertained. And, also bet small amount always. These can.control your temper.

I saw a lot people that could win big at dice gambling sites but they keep rolling and rolling and finally a lot of them got busted. Idk what on their mind. Why they are too greedy when they can withdrawal all his profit and 'run away' with huge money on their pockets before all gone? For myself, I prefer to stop rolling when I am able to double my starting balance. Eventhough, my overall profit is still at negative numbers but I do not bother with it.

I agree with you but emotions plays a huge factor in it. It's not as easy to tell yourself to stop. You keep telling yourself one more bet, until you bust. It's good that you stop after you double your starting balance but for those betting huge amounts, stopping might not be as easy.
118  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to make a good amount with 0.01BTC? on: October 29, 2016, 04:40:48 PM
The only thing I can think of is to bet on sports if you watch them. Gambling with casino games are fun but they are much harder to win. If you're looking for a website, I recommend BetBTC and Directbet they're both user friendly and really simple to use.
119  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: In what gambling games are you good at? on: October 29, 2016, 08:17:59 AM
I'm 'good' at blackjack and dice if you're talking about experience.. But you cannot be 'good', I mean all you have to do is to be lucky and choose between a few options...

Me too. I'm good at blackjack as I have a positive winrate but dice is mostly luck which is something I'm horrible at. But majority of the gambling games, you can't be particularly "good" at it.
120  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does experience matter in gambling? on: October 29, 2016, 04:44:14 AM
To some extent it does. With experience comes wisdom and you will know when to stop and when greed is taking over. Experience is not required just to gamble but to the point where you have some experience in gambling, you will know when enough is enough.
