i have only seen a couple of coins that have decent wallets which are SPV (meaning you don't have to store the whole blockchain). and those coins are:
litecoin: Electrom-ltc
Doge: Multidoge and Electrum-doge(which i think was abandoned project)
Reddcoin: Electrum-rdd
i have used all three and having all of them will take like 100 MB size on your HDD with no trouble at all.

In case of Coinomi, no if the service stops, you won't loose your coins.
You can backup your wallet and the use the Passphrase to recover your coins in any other wallet.

Problem is I dont want to have all my money on a web wallet where it could be stolen all at once when something bad happens.
I want to store 3-5 differenct coins but without installing several tools that hold a single coin type , is there any way or any software like multibit that can support all types of coin and have a wallet file .?

This is an android app tough, i don't really recommend using your phone to store loads of coins, but it might be nice for a small ammount  i already know this website , but i dont want a wallet that linked to a website , becasue in cas the website stoped then coins are going too and lost every thing |
