I think that there is more than 100 inactive people who have left campaign and spots are unnecessary taken.

I think spots are no longer limited, but rather closed now. So even if someone was to leave, he won't be able to join back.

Also I wouldn't like a lot of Indians to jump into the betting thing, cause almost 25-45% of the educated population is involved in IPL betting and if they all jump into bitcoin then don't you think a lot of bitcoiners will go to jail? Because afterall betting is illegal here and a lot of people diving into bitcoin betting would attract the attention of the authorities(authorities which are incharge of controlling betting in India).

If so many people are already into betting, it shouldn't matter if bitcoins are used are not. Smiley
But wouldnt this publicize bitcoin in a too bad way in india? we will then have  to loose the hope of government supporting bitcoin.

There wouldn't actually be easy for the government to monitor, what exactly are the bitcoins being used for.
Just like purchasing drugs/Gambling and all, the government can't really do much about it
We are more closely monitored than we think we are being done. You cannot hide it from the government(if it wants to do).

I doubt that. They aare not aware of all the btc addresses we have, and almost have no way to find out, the amount we are in possession with.

See if agencies like IB gets attracted here then they can easily find out that who are you and they will know whether you are betting or not by your activities(they can closely monitor activities of big gamblers). Doxing in today's time isn't difficult.

You can dox someone, if you suspect something, and say if you suspect someone to be betting with bitcoin, then maybe yes. But I am sure, they wouldn't be spending the resources to check txns and see if they are generated from Indian IP's and then pursuing each and every such txn to find someone like this.
Plus bitcoin is a grey area, so even if you are gambling with it, would be hard to make a case out of it.

105  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Gaming and bitcoin will bring mass adoption on: February 25, 2015, 07:13:06 AM
A lot of people who are in bitcoin, actually came through gambling, so I am sure, its one thin that attracts most of the new people into it.

You guys can try Flash. The first few episodes were decent, but started to get boring in the following episodes.

LeMeridien. Sweet! Smiley
Also might be a good idea to request subvolatil to add this even to the Meetups ground, which most of the other bitcoiners in Delhi follow.
113  Local / Off-Topic (India) / Ideas for a Start-Up - Anyone Interested in coming up with something ? on: February 22, 2015, 02:45:36 PM
Hey Guys!
I was wondering if anyone would want to partner with something or an idea they might have around what they think would be a good startup.
I have the next 7-8 months free, and can help work/incubate any ideas you might have, with the right resources(Depending on the idea ) .

I can help in both Hardware//CS/Bitcoin based ideas, and open to them. I know a lot of people have the misconception that idea is what matters the most, but thats not always true .

Just quoting from a discussion "Trust me - it already exists. Smiley. Someone is always working on the idea that you are still thinking of. Question is who implements it better and who sells it better, faster and in more valuable way. "

Feel free to PM me and we can does about it.

Things are back up and mostly running as normal for me. The 'Automated Betting' options don't all seem to be working (no actual option to choose return to base or bet change on loss or win), but otherwise everything else seems operational.

It is still down for me with the same old "error 522".

Maybe you guys need to clear your cache history

It would take quite awhile for him to recover those coins I think.

I wonder why would he leave all those coins in the open or on his laptop like that.
Even though he would never have expected to be caught, but even if he was, it was best to leave a few million in a paper wallet hidden somewhere, or maybe he already does .
