Cool! A couple of wake-up blocks and a ton of payouts! This is a good start to my day! The load of payments is always a nice thing to see

Some people like to use a mix because not all are supported on different devices.

Noticed, needed to reboot 39 miners. Are you saying I should not put 1PH at Kano.de ?
Well, I don't expect to continue to have problems, but yeah 40 minutes after the problem was resolved, all got dropped for 1 minute. A few days back linode was going on about DDoSes to their network causing problems, then this issue the support reply was it was out of their control ... Though I will point out that linode support is full of morons who don't know what they are saying half the time. I had one guy a month or so ago telling me to reboot the linode to fix an MTR problem not at the node ... ... ... Anyone know a good server provider that doesn't way over charge for network costs? AWS and Google network prices are ridiculously high ... about 50x what I pay on the main pool server. The main pool server isn't linode of course and is very reliable, in a top of the line data center in Vegas. Well, it's happening again. Yep, you shouldn't be pointing it at the DE node. I'll post again when it's all been OK for more than an hour. Sorry if they have been mentioned previously but would a provider like OVH (mostly situated in France) be of use to possibly replace the issues with the DE node? OVH direct maybe expensive although you can get some great deals via Kimsufi (offer servers in both Canada and France that our hosted in OVH data centres): http://www.kimsufi.com/uk/servers.xmlNot really sure what kind of server you are after though.

Woah, looks a really cool setup, is this going to be entirely used for mining purposes?

Satoshi during the birth of Bitcoin, pretty sure he hit one long streak

Personally prefer paper wallets over the hardware type although I have only ever heard good things about Trezor, yet comes at a premium.

Should of probably stored something of that value offline, cold storage or just printed off the keys is a much better option and then just keep an eye on the watch addresses. Sorry for that kind of loss though must sting.

those questions would be better suited for kano due to his knowldege base
I'm simply asking where @philipma1957, who was talking about his strategy for renting hash once the 250% level was reached, got that number from? I may have complicated the question all over the place but just wanted to know what his signal was (and where on the website it's located) for bumping up the hash rental as I would like to try that strategy. If it's a simple answer I appreciate it. If not so simple I understand and thank you anyway. Just be careful playing the rental game...the margins are razor thin even if you guess right and if you guess wrong it can cost you some coin. The funny thing is whenever the block gets really long and several kano miners throw up 1PH or 2PH each, the block is usually hit at the end by some small kano miner with 24THs or an large miner who keeps a even, steady hash anyway. Noticed that a few times, many of the lower end miners getting blocks here.

okay next question when trading users what is the preferred way to trade them. don't want to have any ban manners or seem retarded. do most ppl use a middle man service? Some people use escrow (reputable person who is essentially a middle man), although this usually involves a fee to be paid to the escrow.

I don't believe it will entirely replace fiat, or even Paypal for that matter, it will just be another alternative, the dream is for it to be in more widespread use than the former.

I can see this being abused unfortunately, but still a cool development from Mozilla co-founders

A lot are Russian due to other online payment methods being banned in Russia, most notable Paypal.

i know bitcoin itself is already an investment but i have 3 bitcoin sitting around and I'm looking for a quick 5% flip any idea??
I do not think there is a safe and feasible investment bitcoin now, why not you trading bitcoin in local exchanger that's more safe than you put your money on investment site. The only reason I am currently sitting on the fence and waiting is because of the upcoming halving.
