101  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: the future of gambling on: April 20, 2017, 03:30:34 AM
in the future, more gambling apps will be developed.

in the mobile internet era, and thanks to encryto currencies such as bitcoin, the world is turning to a whole casino without cashflow limits.

and this process will accelerate the extinction of fiat currencies.

but the game must be creative, it can't be any games in traditional casinos, it must be a game can be interactive real time with thousands and millions of people.

if one mobile gambling game can spread all over the world, installed on millions of mobile phones, on that day, it will be possible to control the currency rate of one country.

that's evolution.

i discovered an app might has the potential, i need some ideas to promote it.

please write to info@luckyminority.com if you have some brilliant ideas.

Definitely more gambling apps will be produced.

However there will be a slight problem of getting the google play store and the apple app store to accept these apps, because it is obviously ridiculously easy for children to get access to these apps and google and apple don't want to take the blame of allowing child access.

Your idea is interesting, i just don't see how it can go mainstream.
102  Economy / Speculation / Re: 21 BTC = inflation-adjusted $millionaire in 12 years on: April 20, 2017, 03:28:01 AM
In 12 years most of the bitcoin supply will already be mined. 20 million coins mined, the remaining BTC will be the one that goes slowly released through the rest of the 140 year period.

In practice, more than 1 million coins will be lost. This puts the 21 BTC holders in less than 1 million person on the entire planet.

This MUST mean that holders of 21 BTC are at least $millionaires. Otherwise BTC would have been a failure as a store of value (this is irrelevant to the scaling debate).

IT doesn't necessarily mean that it MUST happen, but it possibly could happen.

Because theoretically, once the money supply expands, inflation occurs.

That does not necessarily happen that fast though, there is a process.

The wages might be sticky, the contracts my be sticky, etc.

But I think ify ou have 21 BTC right now you'd be quite rich in 10 or 20 years time, that's for sure.

Smiley

106  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is it possible to sell dicing strategy? on: April 19, 2017, 11:26:23 PM
You just had a lucky pattern.

You can't come up with a strategy in these games because they are only about your luck. LUCK.

You were lucky, that's all. If making money by following strategies on prime dice were able to make money, prime dice wouldn't have survived to this day already. Do you think you are the only one who had a lucky pattern on PD? There are hundreds of success stories about people growing their faucet drops into something big. They all lose everything in the end if they keep playing because of the house edge.

One last thing.

If your strategy is a sure win... Why don't you clean up PD and own their ass?  Cool

Precisely.

You can't sell something that you can only do once in a while and there is absolutely no pattern to it.

By OP's logic i am able to sell my method of making 9900x on my investment, because I can hit that 9900x roll as long as I do enough rolls.
107  Other / Meta / Re: Bitcointalk account hacked? on: April 19, 2017, 11:24:13 PM

I'm waiting now 4 month. What now?

Either just keep posting on this account, or send a message to Cyrus.

There is nothing else you can do.

You could pay the 0.04 BTC but it is likely you are dealing with your hacker. Also he is not online anymore, I doubt you'll find success there.

Letyouearn or someone else I believe spent like a year on recovering his account, by the time he recovered it the account he posted on "letyouearn2" was already a senior member... This seems like the case with you as well.
108  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is YoBit.net provably fair ? on: April 19, 2017, 11:22:14 PM
Yes i think yobit is provably fair because many are play there they always go back to play and many people are playing there so this site are good. And also we can trade altcoins there many choices to be trade.

It is not.

They are just like regular aonline casinos, you have no idea how they operate. They may bait you with a few wins at the start but then once you start gambling legit, they take out the wins and replace them with losses.

Don't play on their site.
109  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Zurich Prime Scam on: April 19, 2017, 05:19:41 AM
ZURICH PRIME REFUSES TO PAY MY MONEY BACK!
Last night I decided to get into trading, I signed up with Zurich Prime and immediately deposited a hundred dollars. This morning I realized they are not legit and ethical in their dealings. I signed up online for a withdrawal, a few minutes later I see a declaration that my withdrawal is not successful because my available balance is 0 dollars. These guys are really unethical and I am just a student who saved up the hundred dollars, I cannot afford to lose such money because when converted to South African rands it is quite a lot. Please guys help me, what steps can I take to ensure Zurich Prime is held accountable and my money gets back to my bank account.

Well, really should have read the reviews before you even deposit anything.

http://www.scamforex.net/reviews/unregulated/zurich-prime-review/?gclid=CIm4trzir9MCFQJ9vQodkDoOwQ

A simple google search reveals that they are unregulated, lots of customer complaints and crappy customer service.

Nothing you can do in this case but to keep sending tickets and hoping to get a response from them. Your amount scammed is too low for you to bother suing then and they probably used a fake name and profile anyways. Good luck though.
110  Economy / Economics / Re: Is USD being used for illegal activities? on: April 19, 2017, 04:40:34 AM
I see more and more articles of the USD being used for illegal activities, such as funding of terrorists and unconstitutional, illegal wars, funding of wars that cause severe infringement of civil liberties like the war on drugs, among other things. I am pretty sure that when goons smash into convenience stores and steal stuff, then the money they probably steal is USD, which makes it criminal currency. Also, I am pretty sure that the baseball bats that majority of the goons have bought were paid for by the USD.

Also, most people collect rain water, drink raw milk, and throw cannabis seeds in soil, all three acts which are considered serious illegal felonies punishable by seriously expensive fines and extensive jail time, possibly life in prison.

Some people also walk, drive, fish, or hunt without a permit that can easily be bought for in USD.

Will this hurt USD in the long run? Will governments ban this just like they started to do with paying in cash for some services to harden the use of illegal activities, and money laundering?

Well as I said with a the same question with bitcoin, you can't blame a currency for it being used for illegal activities.

What people do is entirely their own choice and the government cannot control that. You can't blame the government when people use USD or CNY for buying drugs, that's only because their status as a currency is confirmed and undisputed.

Same with bitcoin, when people use bitcoin to buy goods that are illegal people should blame bitcoin for the incident.

It only means that bitcoin is a good way to store people's wealth, and even the drug dealers agree with that, and they are very particular about their money Smiley
111  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How safe is to storage private keys in the cloud? on: April 19, 2017, 04:32:36 AM
Can someone know where a private key belongs once a person have found it?

Let's say a private key copy is stored in the cloud and is found for a bad person; is it possible for that person to know where to use that private key?

Don't do it if you can.

If you definitely have to do it then make sure that you are using a trusted service such as google docs or dropbox that also encrypts your document in the cloud. Don't use any of the small services.

Don't store any more than 0.1 BTC in the wallet either.

Just use an online wallet like blockchain.info. You are probably safer that way than to store your private keys in a cloud storage service.
112  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Is it really safe to use Electrum? on: April 19, 2017, 04:17:42 AM
How i can be sure that private keys not stored on centralized servers?

It is safe to use it.

Pretty sure that the code is open source, meaning that anyone can verify that it is legit.

I have used electrum for the past year. I have never regretted started using it last year because it is so easy to use and the design is clean as well for the graphic user interface. Use it man, you won't regret it Wink
113  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: What happened to my bitcoins? on: April 19, 2017, 04:15:09 AM
I bought my first bitcoins successfully. It has been in sending them to an outside wallet that nothing makes sense to me anymore.

I could use some help in reading the information on my transaction id. Any time taken to actually write out a thorough explanation on how to read them would not be wasted. I want to learn so I can solve these things on my own.

I am terribly sorry for never actually posting the transaction ID. And still I have nothing in the receiving account. Here is the transaction id, thanks.

1f305ee9f196fc3f595a0d6ef7365baa74c9ffdc2d914c43ab7f54d312cbcb09

What I know is that it was mined at 840 and that my outside wallet needed 6 confirmations, and to wash them, before I would see them in my balance. Six hours  and 22 confirmations later(I think) my balance is still 0. I checked dozens of times before I sent it and now again that my send to address was correct. The only step I rushed was the one about adding or increasing a miners. I did not even notice it as I clicked on through; could that be an issue? I bought 319 USD worth of bitcoins and sent all of it away, which I noticed pushed my paxful account slightly negative. How about that? If I just gave someone else all that bitcoin I'll live, I can learn. I just want to know some ideas of what could have happened.

https://blockchain.info/tx/1f305ee9f196fc3f595a0d6ef7365baa74c9ffdc2d914c43ab7f54d312cbcb09

That is the transaction ID right?

Your paxful account is negative probably because you sent all of your balance, and since you haven't accounted for your transaction fees on paxful end so next time you deposit there will be a small amount deducted from your balance to cover for the negative balance.

This is your address, correct? https://blockchain.info/address/18qryZsmSUUQCdg3MyeJkuuVgQZXR5amMg

I don't see any problems with the transaction... It has confirmations on it as well.

Export your private key to blockchain.info, and see what happens. It should come up with the correct balance for you to spend.
114  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Restaurants accepting bitcoin! on: April 19, 2017, 04:09:37 AM
Have you tried going to places and get hungry but you have no cash available with only bitcoins in your smartphone. Here are the list of bitcoin accepting restaurants that will feed your stomach with delicious cooking in exchange for bitcoins. This is a sign that bitcoin is truly amazing that even restaurants and pizza stores have seen its value and started to include in its payment options.

Check the list on this link: http://bitcoinrestaurants.net/

This is interesting.

I never thought that restuarants would actually accept bitcoin a few years ago.

Now I look at the list, and there are actually so many restuarants that accept bitcoin. This just proves the bitcoin has grown so much over the past few years. The most famous bitcoin transaction is probably bitcoin for pizza by Lazlo. Bitcoin does have a relation with food it seems Tongue

I hope that groceries stores would start accepting bitcoin soon.
115  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is BTC for you? on: April 19, 2017, 04:05:34 AM
What is bitcoin for you? Is it a chance or a scheme to get rich? Or is it actually to keep your wealth to yourself.
What lead you into bitcoin world and what's keeping you here?

It's not a sheme to get rich.

People definitely said that bitcoin was a ponzi scheme and a get rich quick scheme but it really isn't.

It is so much more than that.

I believe that bitcoin is a way to help all the people that don't have a bank account especially in developing countries in Africa. It is always an asset in which people can trust to put their hard saved money in.

I believe in bitcoin's future.
116  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][QAU] QUANTUM PROJECT - Connecting markets on: April 19, 2017, 04:02:20 AM
Because Quantum tokens will get destroyed on a monthly basis, the amount of units in existence will decrease each month. This makes Quantum one of the few real deflationary currencies in the world.

Correct me if I'm wrong guys, if tokens are being destroyed monthly, then this will surely increase the market price of it because of scarcity of the tokens? If that is the case, then is it much better to hold on this tokens for a long time?

Yes it is, it is a deflationary asset.

I wouldn't say that it is the best idea for a currency to have a deflationary model though. I'd rather a currency be disinflationary like bitcoin it is right now because it promotes trading and buying goods.

But still, interesting project
117  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: If you have 1BTC to spent in trading what coins will you invest on: April 19, 2017, 04:00:55 AM
So if you have 1BTC now, what coin or coins you will invest your 1BTC? Will you invest it to a single altcoin?

In my case I'll invest it to my 5 favorite coins equally.
$STRAT, $ETC, $SYS, $DCR, $TIME

How about you?

Definitely not a single coin.

What I would do is to diversify.

- 35% BTC
- 15% ETH
- 10% XMR
- 10% MAID
- 10% LTC
- 10% DCR
- 5% DOGE
- 5% PPC
118  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I'm Selling My House to Buy Litecoin on: April 19, 2017, 03:57:12 AM
O man this is such a bad idea   Huh Huh . Only invest capital that you can lose. It's such a bad idea to bet (because it is still betting) your house to buy crypto.

That's so true.

Litecoin is very risky to invest in. There is a very big chance that after this pump there will be a dump very very soon coming up. Or there may be another big pump, but there will eventually be a dump.

Like many a litecoin trader said: "Buy high, sell low"

Yep, and right now it's high Smiley I would wait for the dip to buy.
119  Economy / Gambling / Re: BITDICE CASINO - GET YOUR CUT FROM DAILY TREASURE CHEST! on: April 18, 2017, 10:00:26 PM
It's good to see players are increasing in the site, seems the update is working well and effective in attracting new players.  I do not know if it is just a none peak time whenever I visit the site, but I saw around less than 40 users every time I log in  before the update but now I seen an increase of around 35% users.  Btw, alex was in the chatroom and made it rain but well I missed the rain just a couple of minutes lucky me  Embarrassed.

Nah, you can't be more unlucky than me, regarding rain at BitDice.
I never been online when the rain occurs, so... Cry Grin

Hahaha, same here.

But still, you have made a nice amount lending out bitcoins, whilst I have gambled away most of my coins on Bitdice and Coinroll lol.
120  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Excuses on: April 18, 2017, 10:29:49 AM
Did you ever gamble with other's money to pay your own debts or otherwise to solve a certain problem through gambling?

I have certainly never took out a loan to gamble to cover up for more debt, however I have made a lot of stupid decisions that involved gambling my funds over the years with bitcoin.

I still remember once I needed to pay for something I wanted, I had 80% of the money in my wallet sitting there ready to be converted into fiat and buy the laptop. I was due to get paid at the end of the week. But I went on to gamble the money anyways because I wanted that laptop sooner. obviously, I lost.

Another reason not to gamble what you can't afford to lose.
