101  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Eckmar's Marketplace Script v2.0 [MULTI-COIN] [TOR] [DEMO] on: May 21, 2019, 09:58:36 AM
Hi can i get a vouch or discounted copy?

Hello,
I'm not sure why would you be entitled to one as you are brand new here with no reputation and single post ? Vouch copies are for reputable members to leave their review so others can see product is working fine and its done before any sales. I've already sold this item multiple times so I don't feel like I have to do that in order to help my sales.
102  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Financial value of KYC verification on: May 05, 2019, 11:32:10 AM
Hello, I would like to ask:
1. For how many dollars could you give someone KYC verification?

2. Do you know what value our KYC has for companies (such as Coinbase), why do they pay for it? They sell them to someone?

Thanks

Lol...

KYC info of your users should not be sold... Companies such as Coinbase are required to have that information by law because of the AML regulations.
103  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Smartprofits.io - Selling this Plataform Mining Company. on: May 03, 2019, 04:46:07 PM
Is this ponzi site for scamming people (Looks like it), or do you actually have a backend services for managing your own hashrate, miners etc (like real mining company would do it) ?
104  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: I built a P2P Cryptocurrency exchange. But im looking to sell [advice needed] on: April 24, 2019, 09:51:55 PM
By looking at few of those screenshots and reading description, I can say great job! It sounds like you really did put some effort into this. What you might consider is posting public demo. Servers only cost 5$ a month and you might want actual users to test it out and report potential bugs/issues.
On the other hand, 2 years is a lot of time, and I'm sure you value your work but don't expect crazy prices. I'm not sure that drawing up a contract and paying for lawyer would be an option (considering sale price). You really did a good job here, but so did other people before you. I saw localbitcoins clone and the one with multiple coins sold here for 300$, so you won't really profit much. Hope I didn't crush your expectations, I'm sure you will sell it, but keep the price realistic and also take into consideration that experienced developer would not need more than 20-30 days to make this so also base your price around that.

Hi, thanks for your input.

Unfortunately i'd have to strongly disagree on some parts, a script going for $300 is likely going to be made up of 20 lines of code which can be done in a few hours. Building something similar to Localbitcoins/Paxful would take at a minimum 6 months full time with a proper dev team. You can see more information from the perspective of an actual team member from Paxful here: https://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/39ug0q/how_much_will_it_cost_to_build_a_website_like/

What those guys are talking about is mostly background management of funds and spending weeks testing security. It may take that amount of time if you are writing it in something like Go or Java but PHP and Laravel...
I personally worked with Laravel for years, and honestly its very good for rapid development as you have everything already there, authentication, email sending, real-time communication and much more all built in. So you only have to worry about business logic. And there is no developer that can convince me that it takes more than 30 days to build ad posting, messaging and reviews website. Also what you read on Reddit is developers from who knows where and the actually site is more complicated. Its like me asking "how much does it cost to build facebook". I can spend years developing it, making it look the same but I can never clone the background processes that handle all the stuff there. You are only getting a premium if you work by signing a contract with some company, other than that you are working for freelance rate which is not 20000$ a month (Indians...)
I'm taking from personal experience and from what I got during the years of development of bitcoin related software here on forum. If you are looking for more than 2000$ for this, I think its better to target different audience, websites like flippa etc.

Sorry, your knowledge seems very limited and to think that a $300 - $2000 script is all thats needed to build this is very very poor judgement. $300 - $2000 is a budget for a local barber shop website. Where would Go and Java fit into this type of platform? that makes absolutely no sense. I came seeking for advice not post count torture or to discuss pricing especially when it is so far from correct. I kindly ask that perhaps you do a little more research and refrain from continuing on this thread of mine. I sent you a link showing a Paxful mod suggesting that it would cost $100k to build something similar to Paxful. Your argument (which i did not come to seek from my post and again i kindly ask you refrain from continuing on this thread) that they are talking 'mostly background management of funds and spending weeks testing security' is nonsense as that does not cost anywhere near $100k. That quote was mainly regarding development. Initial funds needed to launch this platform would cost roughly $10k infrastructure and that would increase as the number of visitors increase. You suggested Indian developers, are you Indian by the way? As i know this industry is seen completely different on that side of the world. I appreciate your input but i kindly ask that you stop here as my post is not regarding outsourcing development work for cheap and I’m very disappointed that you’ve decided to ruin my post discussing your views on the development/design industry in India. I'm disappointed that a 'legendary member' would comment this nonsense but i guess that posting nonsense can increase your account status so it makes sense. Yes, you can hire an 'Indian' developer to produce a Localbitcoins/Paxful platform for $300 - $2000 but all you'll get in return is a days worth of php on a script that will be useless and i'm certain that the majority here reading are aware of this. You get what you pay for and this is one of the reasons Upwork causes a lot of upset clients.

Totally off-topic but I guess this is what happens when you put yourself out there.

I never suggested that you (or anyone else) hire Indians, I just said that you have to look at average freelancer price per hour which is affected by them, in case you misunderstood what I wanted to say (Or you have trouble understanding English, don't want to discriminate). And what I meant by saying background stuff:
Quote
I'm not mentioning anything about proper enterprise software plus secure website development - unit tests, replication, disaster recovery, build automation, backups, validations, protection against all kinds of website attacks and so on.

^^ That is what cost money. That is whats expensive. And you don't have any of that but expect similar pricing ? That is also what takes 6-8 months of development (a bit exaggerated maybe...). Team was hired to do everything from start to finish and that includes my quote here (from their reddit post). They used enterprise software (Laravel is not really...) and built all that stuff to manage the security of the app and servers too. Honestly everyone can write a business logic. When I was in college I could've written business logic like paxful. I guess you value your work too much, I didn't want to offend you or argue with you, just wanted to share my experience, my bad that you can't take it, but please be realistic.

Software engineers tend to overvalue their work publicly (like on reddit) which keeps the price of development up and that is the reality. Hope you will cope with it sometime soon.

This is not a sales thread, this is project development board where project development is discussed (Imagine that...). If you want to sell your script make a thread HERE and I won't discuss the development.

107  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Selling amazon Canada 55% only! Amazon germany 75%! Escrow link opened. on: April 24, 2019, 07:16:10 AM
How are these obtained ? I can't find any logical reason to sell legitimate gift cards for 50% of value. Its almost more profitable to just buy something and sell it off ebay or similar sites.
108  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: MoneyBadger.io | Opportunity for new owner on: April 23, 2019, 02:28:00 PM
I don't know why everyone is so inclined towards stats and the number of visitors. The concept is great, all the core functionalities are implemented, the only thing to do is revamp the design and market it. 1BTC is a very reasonable price for the code and of course, it is deployed!

Good Luck with the sale OP!

Its not really. App is simple and can be made and deployed in a couple of days. So if it does not have profit, the reasonable price for this would be few hundred $ at best considering the design.
109  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: MafiaBitcoin [Website] on: April 23, 2019, 02:24:48 PM
Its nothing new. Sites like that have been seen in gambling section often, which is btw a more suitable board for your thread, so you might consider moving it there as it has nothing to do with project development.

Also, seems like you are the owner of the website, if you want to promote it better, at least include a link to it.

111  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Web Auctions? on: April 11, 2019, 02:42:25 PM
Honestly Bitify is shit. Looks like an app from 2010. If you can do a better job and create an app that looks professional (doubt one person can do it) then go for it. As for OpenBazaar its great, but ppl really dont want to download anything to their PC's.
112  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Counter of sold tokens at website on: April 09, 2019, 08:27:09 AM
Hello
How to make a counter which will be show my actual balance of tokens with nice design?
I can generate a link with the actual balance but how to transform it to better look ?

Uhh use css I guess ? No one can tell you how to make something nice. Learn css  and make something that looks "nice" for you, as its relative too. Whats nice to you, may not be nice to me.
113  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: A little help please - im guessing its php - single click redirect and vanish on: April 09, 2019, 07:55:13 AM
You can do the same thing using the combination of CSS and HTML by hiding the "link" underneath the displayed "subscribe button".
Add: a.subscribebutton:visited {display = "none"} to hide it after one click which displays the link behind it.
Just change the special class "subscribebutton" to your liking and add to subscribe button's element class="subscribebutton".

Javascript can also do the same : Javascript - Hide/Show. But it's toggle-able.

Add the attribute: target="_blank" to your HTML link(s) to open the link in a new tab .
Code:
<a target="_blank" href="google.com">Link to Google</a>

Thats one solution, better one is to store the download link in some variable in js (or even get it after button is clicked) and then remove button with js or change link to the newly gotten link. Hope I've explained it fine.
114  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Help to find bitcoin lib for nodejs on: April 02, 2019, 05:49:08 PM
I need to connect btc to my website with nodejs, so I'm looking for any way in which I can accept bitcoins. I have seen bitcoinjs lib, but this lib can't check explorer and push tx. Maybe you have some multiwallet which contains all popular coins and can be added from my own, because I'm planning to use this libs for others bitcoin forks.

What you are searching is a bitcoin wrapper:

http://lmgtfy.com/?q=nodejs+bitcoin+wrapper

But remember that you will need to install your node in the server and for that you need a robust server (with more than 250GB), other option is to install the core in a local computer, then turn down the firewall and make the connection direc from your server to the local machine. Is the complex way but with that you avoid the big server for node.
Thanks for the help, but in fact, it is an analog of bitcoin-core lib. I have found one interesting Russian article where they show command which can change blockchain size from 250 to 2-3 gb.

Its called pruned node. You can research it. Its useful as you won't store whole blockchain, but on the other hand if you need some explorer-like features, you won't be able you see older blocks, just the last few. Thats because, well you are not storing the other blocks, hence reduced size.
115  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Idea - Ecommerce similar to Amazon.com + Shopify.com? on: April 02, 2019, 03:11:03 PM
How do you plan to merge Amazon and Shopify ? I don't understand exactly, please explain if you can, but it sounds interesting.
116  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Help to find bitcoin lib for nodejs on: April 02, 2019, 08:58:31 AM
You can generate address with bitcoinjs, and then use an API of some explorer to create and push tx but you will have to write that "middleware".
Other option (best one) is to connect to Bitcoin daemon directly with RPC and use it to do everything. This will work with all Bitcoin forks because they don't change RPC calls at all. Bad thing is, you need to run a full node.

You can also check bitcore (full node also required)
117  Economy / Gambling / Re: Game Protect Legal Case - Curacao License Scam on: April 01, 2019, 08:22:47 PM
I call it a fault of OP since he trusted GP without researching about their previous activity. Looking at that red trust is untrustworthy if OP only knew.

You can't blame OP here. I think that OP found the service of GP in a google search or something. If OP was a long time user of this forum then he would know who GP is and OP won't hire the service of GP.
He should have dived in this forum before anything else. Maybe, he could know that GP is not a defender of gamblers. If he created an account or just browsing in here, he's safe from GP lol.

Why isn't scam accusation thread being opened ?
I guess this does not resolve anything since we know that GP is a scammer lol.

We do, but he always says in his thread "google game protect scam" when someone acuses him. If scam accusation thread is opened google bots will pick it up and someone who is not part of btctalk might see that and not get scammed.
118  Economy / Gambling / Re: Game Protect Legal Case - Curacao License Scam on: April 01, 2019, 07:22:53 PM
Why isn't scam accusation thread being opened ? Person paid for services, he did not receive any service, any paper that "lawyers" are actually doing anything or that they exist. The accused can say some bullshit about legal stuff taking too long, but are there any court dates or anything that can indicate progress has been made in 3 months ?
How much did the person pay for services?

Where is proof of the payment?

So are you saying OP is a liar and he did not use your services ? Thats interesting, because you replied:

1) You did not send anything from your pocket.

2) As soon as there is an update you will be instantly informed. If there is no update, you will not be informed, simple. I understand that you see only your case, but we handle hundreds of cases.

3) In legal proceedings 3 months is nothing and enforce claims from Curacao fake licensed casinos can be time-consuming.

Excuses excuses  Grin

So you are changing your strategy from excuses to denying thats your client, interesting strategy ...  Huh
