I'll go 10 BTC... Smiley

...and I agree with much of what bitsinmyhead has to say and fully understand his frustration. In the words of one of my past mentors "It's blatantly obvious to the most casual observer".

I support him in his endeavor to repay me... just makes sense and really, what other option is there?

He lives in the LA area like me, so I have been to his place many times and seen the rigs that he has.

Just for clarification, he has functional rigs?

(by the way, seriously shares almost sold out! as of the time of this post, there are 554 left for sale! That's it! And once we get our first batch of gear in, expect those shares to soar in value, a lot higher than 0.25! So now is your chance to grab them while they are hot!)

Was waiting on some confirmations but too late, oh well I did get some  at .25, just wanted more. - Gone! Ask - .33
107  Economy / Services / Wanted: Bitcoin Loan Calculator [closed] on: March 01, 2012, 06:01:26 AM
I'm looking for a bitcoin loan calculator. Using the current difficulty, input a hashrate and time period (days)
The output would be basic loan details with amortization schedule.

Includes daily, weekly, time period BTC mined.

The interest rate and number of payments should be hard coded as long as I am able to edit the code to change these two numbers.

php preferred..

PM if you are interested for more detail.

108  Economy / Currency exchange / [WTB] Liberty Reserve on: February 28, 2012, 02:08:37 PM
I'm looking for a quick way to transfer USD to Liberty Reserve. PP, Bank Debit (Billpay), Bank Transfer, Dwolla?

Could be an ongoing deal but initially looking for about $500-1000 USD in LR.

No ratings to speak of, I have done some exchanges here on the forum and have way too many BTC loans out to be going anywhere.

PM me if you have an offer.

updated

OP updated to denote the desired denomination for calculation of repayment.

Creditors: check and verify.

Thanks for handling this, dollartrader (and imsaguy too)!

I guess you missed my earlier post: my repayment amount should be adjusted to $377 (and denominated in USD), for a partial refund of the USD I paid, instead of expected mining contract output.

I'm okay with this but I am only about 4 months (3mos /3 wks) in to the contracted lease so I still have 2+ months of ups and downs. Those that started in August have hit the end of their contract period. I'll go with whatever they have to say on this one but for the record, I am good with weighing the average and locking in the coin due.

This is likely to be a lengthy payback time period so the scales could tip in either direction.
114  Economy / Services / Re: Shades Minoco / Shakaru / Collections / Debt on: February 25, 2012, 01:12:55 PM
I'll note that. Hopefully someone will take up the torch on the distribution. Since I have a 'conflict of interest' of sorts, it should not be me.

edit: also noted I have payb.tc listed as a 2Gh/s instead of 20 Gh/s
115  Economy / Services / Re: Shades Minoco / Shakaru / Collections / Debt on: February 25, 2012, 10:51:15 AM
OP has been updated. I'm no spreadsheet guru so check. I believe I have taken all information from the thread as for settle amounts. Correct me if wrong.

I agree with the earlier post about a non associated trusted 3rd party watching over this, if anyone is up for it?
116  Economy / Services / Re: Shades Minoco / Shakaru / Collections / Debt on: February 25, 2012, 03:00:22 AM
I've updated the OP with calculator values for Bitfoo. Since it seems that we are are willing to forgive all (or a portion) of the potential profits. Maybe we should add to the original post with the amount you are willing to settle for? This will give Andrew a clearer picture of where he stands for a total due out.

You can post here or PM me and I'll add a new column to the post.
117  Bitcoin / Project Development / Dollar-Trader - A Currency Based Social Network on: February 24, 2012, 11:19:56 AM
This site is under development and I am looking for feature requests or feedback.

I am interested in getting constructive feedback and feature requests for this development. Below is a list of features already available or actively being worked. It is the intent to grow slowly but surely with a group of like minded individuals and businesses. The verification process will be handled as expediently as possible and helps to ensure the professionalism and integrity of registered members. Members can grow their personal network and reputation within the community and with people they know to be verified.

There is currently no plan for a fee based membership although a small donation upon successful registration/verification (once your membership is fully activated) is requested to cover verification costs. Non obtrusive advertising and donations will help support the site.

Note:  I use the terms public and private below. Public refers to the registered member community. The only portion of the site that will be available to the "general public" is your profile review page which lists your star rating and review comments, as well as, links to your given reviews. This can be used as a great 'identity verification tool' outside of the dollar-trader network.

Note: The site is being actively developed, you may find that you (as "general public") are able to see portions of the site which I have listed as private as the site is tweaked and reworked.

A Currency Based Social Network
http://dollar-trader.com

This site/service is intended to be a community built on a social network frame for lenders, exchangers, sellers, buyers and service providers. Initially geared towards the cryptocurrency community, it may well expand to take in other providers. The site is powered by Social Engine.

Features:

Social Networking - Very similar in style and features of a platform such as facebook.  Some of the "frill" type features are being removed from the script in order to clean up the site.

Registration is by invite only, you must be invited by a verified member. Initial members will be reputable members of this forum.

Registration also requires a verified mailing address. After initially registering via your personal invitation code, a second code will be mailed to your address. Upon validation of this code, you are given full access. members awaiting validation of this address verification code are given access and labeled as "Unverified" with limited access.

Profile Fields include usernames at various online resources such as btc-otc, heatware, ebay, this forum and others. These profile fields will link directly to your profile at these other sites. These will be verified. While these fields are optional, each verified field increases your "Profile Score"  Your profile score is based on the number of fields you have verified. The exact details and weight for each field is still being determined. Also note that you can have these fields verified but listed as "private" (also being determined which fields can be "private") This allows you to complete the verification process without having your profile information available for for all members.

Some fields (such as a receiving bitcoin address, outside profile links) are locked upon completion and cannot be changed unless requested via admin.

Review System - Internal P2P review system using the 5 star criteria and comment system. You are also linked to those whom you review as well as those who have reviewed you.

Listings - Post your request to the network such as a loan request, exchange request or items/services for sale. Discussions can be undertaken on any listing.

Groups - Groups can be formed and managed. Both Private and Public (pubic being any registered members). Any feature on the site can also be used just for your group such as a listing or event. These remain amongst group members only.

Live Chat - The site is equipped with live chat. Both public and private. members can start a private group for discussion. Like facebook, you are auto logged into chat when you log in to site but can choose to remain invisible or not available.

Auctions - The site is equipped with auctions. No fees at this time. Many features of a normal auction such as "buy it now" are available.

Events - Events are being developed more towards those making loans. A loan is listed with begin/due date and becomes public record of who has outstanding loans.

Private Site - The site will remain completely private to those who are not registered members. However, the "Member Review" page will be publicly available. Such that, a member can link to his page as an "Identity verification" tool.

To answer the first question: As a 3rd party verification service of sorts, I will also provide my identity (and those who are assisting with the project) to those who are registering and my personal profile will be complete. Nothing to hide and easy enough to figure out who I am. I just prefer not to have my personal details listed on any forum.

118  Economy / Services / Re: Shades Minoco / Shakaru / Collections / Debt on: February 24, 2012, 11:15:47 AM
For clarity in the original post: I've added your claim as 120BTC per your post. I did not use the mining calculator listed.

I am owed 5 months on a 9 month 2GH/s contract bought for $1075 in august 2011.

My claim (at current Mt.gox weighted average of 4.97) is:
(5/9 * $1075) / 4.97 = 120BTC

Finally I will have to say that this contract has been a total nightmare. I have wasted so much time trying to get BTC from shakaru and just been fed lies. This has cost me extra money because it has been impossible to know if I had to buy BTC myself or would receive them from shakaru. Even after explaining this and how important it was that he was honest with me he just kept making up new excuses. As a business owner myself, I have never dealt with anyone this unprofessional.

Edit: According to a mail just received by shakaru I also have to state that my mining rig blew up and caught fire after I had allegedly logged into it by logmein (I paid $100 extra for this option). The first I heard about this was January 10th 2012, after I had started to push him hard to get the money I was owed. On January 10th, he claimed it was two GPU cards that had blown, but now it is apparently the whole machine and it also caught fire. Very strange he waits 4 months to tell me about this. I have my doubts about this story. I have Skype logs to prove what he told me on Jan 10th.

I edited one of my posts above but it may get missed:

If you have guaranteed functioning mining equipment, list it here. I am willing to take hardware as payment. Can you list that hardware once inventoried?
