I just saw that version .62 was posted in your files - will that version work on win 7 x64?
It is source code. There is still one CRASH-bug present. We cannot release Windows Binary until it will be fixed. |

But anyhow, when I tell it to backup the wallet file do I need to generate one wallet file that will have both litecoin and bitcoin data on it, or do I need to select litecoin, backup, select bitcoin, backup etc?
Backup and Export are different operations. To backup you should make copy of %APPDATA%\Ufasoft\coin\wallet .db. This file can be used by "Ufasoft Coin" software only. When you call "File.Export", then file wallet .dat created for standard client. You should select some particular currency before exporting and then use exported file with that currency client. |

udb file but when it gets down to around 197-180 days it gets an access denied message and i cannot get it to work again until i delete the udb file.
Any other suggestions?
One bug already found in the 0.61 code. Fixed version will be released in 2 days. |

Running on win7 x64 - installed (upgraded) to .61 - it started downloading the blockchains for my existing BTC, NMC, LTC wallets. Kept crashing with a not enough space error.
When i restarted the ltc wallet would not display/load and there was an access denied error.
Any suggestions?
Remove file %APPDATA%\Ufasoft\Coin\litecoin.udb and run with only one currency enabled during initial download |

Can't the many operations be combined into one transaction though? It really is so bad with the thrashing that it is currently unusable for me.
They are combined to one transaction for every block. Even more: many transactions are combined to groups by nested transactions and SQLite used in Unsafe but Fast mode for BlockChain: PRAGMA journal_mode=wal
PRAGMA synchronous=off The only thing which improves SQLite performance is Page Cache Size. Probably we will release yet one version for SQLite with larger page cache before new DB Engine. |

BlockChain saved to the DB in normalized form. It results many file I/O operations.
Database directory can be changed by %COIN_APPDATA% environment variable.
SQLigtenging was tried as experimental DB backend. But we have found better solution (will be released soon).

ну если в кошельке будут отображаться курсы калют с бирж... то никто не мешает выставить ставку в своем кошельке и как только ктото в сети выставит встречную заявку удовлетворяющую требованиям... заявки полностью или частично закроются
безо всяких торговых терминалов запиленных в кошелек...
То что вы описали - и есть торговый терминал. В исходниках Bitcoin изначально предусмотрен механизм, позволяющий менять криптовалюты между собой без участия бирж. И были разработаны соответсвующие алгоритмы обмена, защищенные от нечестного поведения любого участника. Но почему то этот механизм до сих пор закомментирован в исходном коде. Возможно это невыгодно биржам. |

а также чтобы была возможность торговли между кошельками ... т.е. ориентируясь на курсы бирж, можно было прямо в кошельке продавать/покупать (создавать ордера) а коммисия шлабы как раз в оплату майнерам за нахождение блока...
Совместить кошелек с торговым терминалом - отдельная серьезная задача. В общем то это может сделать сторонний программист, модифицировав исходники UI (написаны на C#, WPF). Общение с библиотекой Bitcoin происходит по простому интерфейсу и библиотеку трогать даже не надо для задач торговли. От нее только функции GetBalance() и SendMoney() нужны |

I think .NET support is not enough. WPF requires some support from Graphics drivers. |
