101  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Monero Reach $500 in 2019? on: June 08, 2019, 11:22:59 PM
Considering the current patterns of the price changes of most of the cryptocurrencies in the crypto market, I highly doubt the market value of monero will reach $500 before 2019 comes to an end. The most possible price I see it reaching will be between $100 and $200. In as much that the crypto market has seen some kinda increase in most of the top crypto coins, there is less possibility for Monero to hit $500 at the end of 2019..
102  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who will be the new king on: June 08, 2019, 10:59:08 PM
Now the mainstream currency, BTC-ETH, has the upper hand, and they have the strength and technology, but the future is likely to be a new project to replace them more mature and more comprehensive. What do you think it would be?

Considering the nature and patterns in the trends in the crypto market and the crypto ecosystem, there is no way any new project will be able to replace Bitcoin or Ethereum. Bitcoin introduced blockchain technology and decentralization. Ethereum also built its platform with the general idea of Bitcoin and added an additional feature; smart contract. These crypto coins are the major influencers of the entire crypto market.
103  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to safely store big amounts of BTC? on: June 08, 2019, 10:44:29 PM
The safety of your Bitcoin in your wallet solely depends on you the user and owner of the wallet. Using more than one wallets to store your Bitcoins does not strongly guarantee that the coins are safe and free from either getting lost or stolen. Personally, I will advise that you use one hardware wallet and keep the restoring backup very safe.
104  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: looking for a legit outlet that I can purchase Litecoins with Bitcoins on: June 07, 2019, 11:51:50 PM
There are a lot of platforms you can basically use your Bitcoin to purchase Litecoin without providing any form of documents for KYC in order to use the platform. But only problem has to do with the fees charged when withdrawing your funds from these platforms. Some of these platforms have huge fees charges for withdrawal made on their platform.
105  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is 1 Bitcoin equal to half million USD? on: June 06, 2019, 11:29:55 PM
So I was thinking.
According to Google, the 2013 estimates of total m2 money supply in US was 10.5 trillion. So if I owned 1 usd today that would be a so a very small percentage of the total number, yes?
But I can own 1 bitcoin today and that means I can own 0.0000048% of total btc supply..

If you think about it, 0.0000048% of total US m2 money would be 504,000 usd.. half a million

So can we say that 1 Btc = $500,000?

Lets discuss..

Interesting analogy , but I don't think you owning 1 Bitcoin does not mean its worth half a million USD. How can you do this assumptions and concluded that 1 BTC is equal to $500k? Please I think you should reconsider this your calculation and assumptions.
106  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: No knowledge is lost. on: June 04, 2019, 10:17:44 PM
Please my fellow crypto friends I need answers badly about ICO and none ICO projects . my question to you all is
Why are projects with NO ICO always do better than the ones who were actually funded from ICO ? Projects with no funds or whatso ever should be the ones facing what ICO projects are facing excluding scams ones

What you don't really understand is not about ICO project contributing or not contributing to the progress of a crypto project. The progress of every crypto project solely depends on the actual purpose of the project and what the project is actually solving in the crypto ecosystem and the world in general. Majority of the  crypto projects who do not have ICO's basically have well define purposes and addresses realistic problems seen in the entire world.
107  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is your definition of shitcoin? on: June 04, 2019, 10:08:00 PM
Shitcoins are basically cryptocurrencies  with no specific working products or aims and missions in bridging specific gaps in the entire crypto ecosystem. Such coins have no value and are in the crypto market just to scam people off their money. Any cryptocurrency with no specific purpose in improving the financial ecosystem of the entire world is a shitcoin.
108  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Newbies don't want to learn on: June 02, 2019, 11:27:12 PM
Based on my observations in the crypto ecosystem, newbies in this space are just interested in making huge profits out of their little investment. Majority of them don't spend time to understand the basic concert and nature of the entire crypto space.
109  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is the altcoin bull started on: June 02, 2019, 11:15:24 PM
Considering the current state of the crypto market, any altcoins whose market value  increases with that of Bitcoin are potentially  good coins to invest in. Bitcoin can be consider as the main influence of majority of altcoins in either the increase or decrease of their  market value.  Tron is one of these altcoins that can be consider as a good coin to invest in looking at the present crypto market. The trading patterns of Tron within a week shows how profitable investing in it can be.
110  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why are you selling your altcoins so soon? on: June 02, 2019, 10:56:17 PM
People basically sell their altcoins to buy Bitcoin. Most altcoins have higher volatility compared to that Bitcoin. People prefer Bitcoin since it has a good potential of making people hodling it to earn a profit margin between 10% to 40%. Most people prefer earning within such margin than holding onto their altcoins which can be a time bomb...
111  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are IEO's bad? on: June 02, 2019, 07:03:54 PM

Am I the only one who thinks this is actually a bad thing and make people focus on the exchange hosting rather than the actual project and what the team is offering etc.?

I have also been thinking about this for a while now. People will rather invest in projects hosted by well known exchange platforms without cross checking how feasible the project is to the entire crypto ecosystem.  But my main concern is on whether these big platforms really examine and cross check the validity of the projects before hosting their IEO's on their platforms ...
112  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: CRYPTOCURRENCIES INVESTMENT on: June 02, 2019, 06:49:52 PM
From recent statistics of the crypto market, Ethereum and Ripple are currently one of the best altcoins to invest in them. Ethereum for instance as a profit margin of about 2% to 10% within 24hrs if only you spend time monitoring the trading patterns. I will advise that you do some research and studies on the current trading patterns of both Ethereum and Ripple before investing your income in them.
113  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Uncomfortable Truth on: June 02, 2019, 05:07:29 PM

Among the crypto investors, majority of them treat it primarily as an asset and secondarily as a currency due to the monetary opportunities available which is something that will be reversed only through higher adoption rates which in turn requires low TX fees, faster payment speeds etc.

Definitely, people in the crypto ecosystem not only investors regard and see Bitcoin as an asset rather than a digital currency. Considering the current state of the crypto market, majority are hodling their Bitcoin rather than using them for their online transactions due to recent increase of the value of it. This nature of people in the crypto space is actual reason why Bitcoin can be hardly considered as a currency.
114  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do your research before investing in ICOs on: June 01, 2019, 03:31:11 PM
Researching and studying the purpose of a crypto project in the crypto space and the entire world to be specific should be the first thing every investor in the crypto ecosystem should do before putting their funds into any ICO or IEO project no matter the hype behind the project. Doing this gives you the investor a further understanding to the potential outcomes of the project and how feasible it is in terms of achieving its aims and missions. This also helps you the investor to save your funds from being lost.
115  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: When will the bull market come? on: June 01, 2019, 03:22:46 PM
We are currently in a slow bull run. The bull run of the crypto market is usually in stages. It needs to start from somewhere and move gradually into the highest peak and later drop into a stable price for some period on time. If you don't believe that we are currently in the bull run, check the market value of Bitcoin and Ethereum in January 2019 and compare it to the current price of Both crypto coins. The differences in their market values says it all.
116  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Never regret anything on: June 01, 2019, 03:15:09 PM
Every mistakes or decisions you make in the crypto world are meant to shape you to understand how to go about in this ecosystem. There is no need to regret in anything. This helps you develop investment or trading plans that will help you maximize outcome. Having regret draws you back in everything you are doing and do not make you move forward.
117  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what happens if Bitcoin dies on: May 31, 2019, 11:55:41 PM
There is no way Bitcoin is gonna die. There is no need making  this assumption since there is no way Bitcoin is going to die. Thinking about this is just a waste of time and energy. Bitcoin has been in existence for ten good years now and with every year that passes by, its ecosystem grows stronger and bigger.
118  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Btc has no value on: May 31, 2019, 11:40:02 PM
In as much that Bitcoin is described as being a digital currency and its just represented by numbers which are not tangible doesn't really mean it has no value. People who have little or no knowledge about the whole idea of cryptocurrency are the ones complaining or speculating that Bitcoin has no value. What these people need to know and understand is that, just like the physical currencies used in various countries, Bitcoin is like a universal digital currency that has value as physical currencies which is widely used by people in different part of the world for most of their online transactions which is even easier and faster with lesser fees charge for every transactions made.
119  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is better than gold and USD? on: May 31, 2019, 11:24:49 PM
It is not about how better Bitcoin is comparing it to either USD or Gold. In my personal opinion, Bitcoin is just a digital version of money thus any kind of money used by people in this world. I see no differences in Bitcoin and physical fiat. Bitcoin is just an alternative representation of money which provide a more convenient form which gives any one the freedom to make transactions at any part of the world without difficulties.
120  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do we need so many cryptocurrency exchanges? on: May 30, 2019, 11:32:17 PM
Considering the entire crypto ecosystem, Exchange platforms can be compared to the banks. There are a lot of Banks that provide different services and offers. Just like Banks, exchange platforms provide different services and offers that usually meets wide users in the crypto space both newbies and professionals. The presents of crypto exchange platforms make it easier and simple for people new to the crypto space to buy or trade their funds for cryptocurrencies. These platforms bridge the gap in terms of availability of cryptocurrencies to users and the promotion of the relevance of cryptocurrencies in the financial ecosystem.
